    Maybe not a good business idea to be swapping the Kove for a DR650 if u are a Kove dealer, not publicly anyway, but the DR is a fantastic bike to own and ride.

      I am 100% transparent with my customers and as I explained in the video the kove was an awesome bike and I will not be without one for long. I just had to move some money around. I even had to talk a customer out of a GPX bike last week because I truly didn't think it was the right bike for him. This business is not how I make a living so I will continue to be transparent with those who are interested.

      Caveyful may be questioning why even post a video about the minutiae of your business finances? Like do-what-you-need-to-do in private... but don't make a video where potential customers may decide _not_ to buy from you because they'd prefer a dealer that sounds like they'll be around long enough to provide service and support. You could be an enthusiastic Kove dealer, and happy DR650 owner, and post great videos... (and skip the edge-of-insolvency stuff) ;)

      @@MikeKirkReloaded yes I could do that, great advice! I'm a terrible liar so I will just tell people the truth anyway. I was working on getting another brand on board to add to the list and needed money to buy new units, but it turns out im not into selling new bikes very much. There's a lot that goes with it! Having the option to order them is great and I will continue to work with kove and GPX as they're doing the affordable bike thing right

    Nice upgrade in motorcycles. I have a fully farkled DR650, and i would take on any Kove any day all day.

      It's mostly about the rider and not so much the bike! I really like this DR so far but it's hard to compare to the kove as they're pretty different.
      Thanks for watching!

    How do you get "crocked" handle bars with a triple clamp? They would have to be bent, so banging them all the way to one side like a kid does their bicycle wouldn't fix them.??

    • @EnduroActionCyclesLLC
      @EnduroActionCyclesLLC  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can see the triple clamps out of alignment when looking down at them. bars are not bent, when you smack the bars to the side, like a kid, the steering stops will hit only one of the triple clamps allowing them to shift. If you have a DR you will know how easy it is for them to shift

    Nice to see and hear again from someone who has owned and ridden several of the dual sport motorcycles offered today with all of the riding mods go back to a DINOSAUR for a general purpose ADV bike. I believe if I need mods to handle a motorcycle at 30 mph or less on a dirt road or path maybe I should ride more and get a smaller bike! There is a reason my the pro motocross racers don’t have mods?

      @EnduroActionCyclesLLC  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I always wondered why they never updated thr DR and now I see why. There's nothing wrong with it!
      Every bike I've ever owned needed mods to suit me as I want it. I was 16k into my 701 and still wasn't happy with it (mainly because of how much money I spent)
      All the bikes are good these days

    Great bike, i definitely like the acerbis 5gallon tank better, but i guess not much of a difference!

      @@SantinoDeluxe the kove 450 rally really might be the best dual sport I've ever ridden. I've only owned the 701, a dr350, the kove and now this dr650. The rest were adventure bikes and two strokes. I'm sure a drz will end up in my hands at some point and I'll make the comparison

      @@EnduroActionCyclesLLC ill admit ive drooled, but i look at those bikes, KTM included, as factory racing/big-bore kit for normal bikes... 501 is bb450, 701 is bb650 with the works. its like you said, i like no computers. i turn my own wrenches, i want to be the reason the bike is running well. i also want to learn how to ride well and using less electronic forgiveness allows for more direct feedback. based on neuroscience the more feedback the quicker you learn. im still in my learning phase and i plan to stay there. i dont need my bike to get better if im getting better. would i enjoy a lighter bike? sure, but it really shouldnt matter. i watch the BDR series, "North East" was a fun one, watching a short rider like Jocelin Snow take a loaded up heavy BMW GS thru Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine like its sposta go there, is inspiring.

      @@SantinoDeluxe that's a great mentality. It's not so much the bike you're in, it's just having a bike in general. The latest is not always greatest.

      @@rawdyrider I have friends who ride similar to myself who preferred the DR over the XR. Also there's common cases of people who ride more aggressively dropping valves and having head issues with the XR. I think I have made the right choice. They are both great bikes nonetheless
