Love the scenery. I would be staying to my right on those corners a little more. I've witnessed the aftermath of a headon and it wasn't something I'll ever forget.
True! You can never be too careful around sxs’s and blind corners. Compared to other trails I’ve ridden in the area, this one doesn’t have that many 4 wheeled vehicles in the higher sections. Probably because the back side is a very tight section of steep switchbacks.
Great footage and information!! I'm one state over in NV and considering a KOVE 450 or 800x later this year. Anyway, ride safe and keep up the great content! PS: What channel is "dirtbike" that you mentioned a few times?
How great are those roads there!!! From western europe we have to say that our issues are not so much the bike, but the lack of trails 😅. Great video!!
Thank you! I love how much you guys are into Rally over there in Europe, it's not so popular here, but definitely prefer our wide open spaces over here!
@@BraapTales the french with the Paris Dakar from the 70's made a lot of people dream here. It would leave snowy Paris on new year Day and arrive 3 weeks later in the summer in Dakar ... It was the ultimate dream away from our cloudy skies I guess ...
Great video my Dude, but I wanted to see the tough hill climb section with commentary :) Thanks for letting me sit on your bike. I am 6 foot tall and that seat height scares me too - Even my KLR is a little too tall in off road terrain sometimes. I am looking forward to your next video, and would love to ride with you again!
I know! We stopped for a break just before that hill climb, I turned my camera off and forgot to turn it back on for the rest of the ride. Such is the life of a moto filmmaker, lol. One of these days I'll get everything right with keeping the camera on, having fresh batteries, and all of that. I saw that hill on your video, it looks so wimpy on camera! These things just don't capture the real challenge of some parts of these trails. Yes, seat height is probably the number one reason that I drop the bike since owning it. Just can't touch the ground sometimes! One of the only plusses I'd give to my KLX 300 over the Kove. My DRZ400 was about an inch taller than the KLX and about an inch lower than the Kove, and that was perfect! Glad you enjoyed the video, thank you! I pretty much join as many of the East Valley events as I can since that's where I live, and would be glad to see you out there on the next ride!
Thank you for this video Thank you for this video Braap Tales! Love riding the Montana Mountain loop out past Queen Vally. Start in the desert, ride through the pines, and back down to the desert floor. Been forever sice I have been out there. It looks like the trail is in decent condition (at least the 1st part). Did you complete the entire loop? With all the rain this winter I was curious how the rest of the trail is holding up. If I remeber correctly, it is always a bit rough and steep, after the turn off for Roger's Canyon hiking trailhead. I think you have inspired me to point my KTM in the direction of this trail before it gets too hot!
Yes, we completed the full loop. There is one very rough and steep part about halfway as you are getting near the top. I’d not recommend doing it alone with a big bike unless you are a very competent hill climber. Great trail, though. Really loved it!
I have a Kove with the stock exhaust. Is your aftermarket exhaust much louder than stock and does it allow the bike to run cooler with the race ecu? Thanks for your videos.
You’re welcome! I have the Uncle Wang’s tower “B” and I replaced the traditional roadbook holder at the top of the nav tower with a Moto Minded Stout Mount. It’s worked very well.
@@wravenant It was purchased from Thork racing. It’s an optional accessory for the DMD tablet. Nice addition, but I wish it was longer, maybe another inch.
Stock seat is so-so. Not the best or the worst. Seat Concepts does make a seat for it. Vibrations are quite good for a single cylinder offroad-focused bike. Definitely less vibes than a KTM 500, and probably a little better than CRF450L.

Great video sir, thank you for exellent information. I want to ask the fuel capasity of this bike in US. In Europe it is 14 liters. Thank you

What are the intervals of the bike?
1500 miles oil / 3000 valves. I will do valves at 5000 since I plan to do little if any racing.

Kove is a Chinese brand.
