The ERS 210 is my favorite model of the Aibo. I plan on getting a silver one for Christmas this year & naming him Tobi. He’ll be my emotional support dog at home, since I have anxiety. An Aibo will be a great addition to my robot collection & will be an even greater addition to my family.
SO BUMMED that they DISCONTINUED these things... but I got LUCKY and snagged one of the black ERS-7's four days before Sony announced they were dropping them.
You are...so lucky, i was like 2 when the ERS-7 discontinued, and now I'm trying to build up one from the ground up like a project that it will wait years and years to finish up, anyway I hope that same ERS-7 is doing great and it's safe and sound :)

I have one of these (Silver) and stopped buying anything Sony again after they abandoned Aibo owners by just discontinuing them, including any replacement parts we might need, especially batteries which soon became impossible to find, and they do eventually go bad so thdn you're stuck with a toy that costs thousands of dollars that you can only look at, sitting on a shelf. I'm getting ready to move and downsize all my junk and don't know what to do with mine because I can't bring myself to throw it away but it's also useless.
There’s a really good aibo community now. And trusted people in the community, who can repair all models for many common issues. As well as recell the batteries.
