What is your reasoning behind sometimes using Varivas lines and Power Pro Lines?

I think varivas is expensive so that might be one reason. Another is that thicker line is oftentimes more abrasion resistant (important for fishing around oyster) and varivas is incredibly thin for its strength.

Ya one of my favorite marshes was "leaked" by a youtuber recently and I haven't been since. Most people that beg for spots dont want to travel far, so I found going 2+ miles generally weeds out most people.
