Well done video! Always nice to hear from the designer on how each part of the car was designed and created. I've got my name entered for one of the 77 and hope I'm selected. Grant Larson was also the designer of the GT2 RS Clubsport 25 and you can see some similarities to that car as well! Love it!
Metalore wheel nuts from the homologated 911 GT3R - nice carry over. From the company that created the whole spline drive wheel nut / socket system back in 1995. Metalore is the best and has supplied Porsche with hardware for years.
Very nice video, to have some explanations from Grant Larson is great. Above all he did the design of the initial Boxster and heavily contributed to the iconic Carrera GT.
Gt3 r is restricted in power and aero/downforce because it adhere’s to racing rules. The gt3 r Rennsport conforms to no rules. So maximum power, aero, and downforce possible.
So this isn’t the RSR? So it’s not mid-engine? why would they make limited edition race cars?? This makes no sense? So only 77 people get to race them until they’re crashed? I’m confused. This is like Porsche attempt at the fxx-k
It’s not a race car in the official competition sense. Like the 935 they came out with in 2019, it’s basically a really nice track day toy. Those with the means to purchase, transport, store, service, and insure this will have a killer time on track days.

Laura Burstein really did a terrific job! That was a very informative video, thanks to all involved.
We agree!
Just when you think you ve seen ultimate 911 out springs another one.Porsche is always raising the bar.

Is that duct tape on the front grilles? Love it.
Yup 😂
Great video!
Esse carro devia soar como o RSR 2018
Excellent and optimal interview, the lady is knowledgeable too. What was the German word he said about the name of the car?
Thanks for watching!
I’m wondering why Porsche didn’t use BBS forged magnesium wheels and create a bespoke lightweight Inconel exhaust for this model.
BBS is going through liquidation, again.
Wonder if AP had any input on this project
is it faster than the gt3 r?
Technically yes.

@@PorscheClubofAmerica cool, thanks
Can I borrow one ? I only want to use it at Road America for a hour.
Get in line, lol!

Porsche refers to the car as a “spectacular track car for enthusiasts and collectors” in its press release.
So like I said….its the Porsche version of the fxx-k?
Most of these porsches will never see the track. Porsche GT3 rennsports are investment properties.
