Tell you what George, this demonstrates perfectly how far we've come since the 60s. Cutting with a reaper with a 6ft cut at ??3mph. Then turning with a 6ft rake. Then baling with a small baler. I'm sure you get the gist of it.
Very true, a lot of those mowers go over the top of meadow /natural grass fields, even if the toplink is real short, put every sales video there cutting lovely tall grass and make it like a bowling green.
Is that a john deere greenstar guidance system on the mower tractor, if so, is jcbs designed to plug right up with greenstar systems or does it have to be jimmy rigged like on case tractors
I bet you had a very satisfying time there George - the equipment sure looked good, hopefully for Oliver’s sake there was more people in attendance than your excellent video indicated?
nice to see the jcb and mc hale field day,my little daughter see lovely the jcb loader. on 27.08 is the fendt day with new fendt 942 in next near to rostock stefan from youtube canal landtechnik filmed the fendt day
I wonder? Is the Mc Hale a partner or sub-company of JCB. Because looking here they have only those two companies machines working on this show! When normally you see a mixed amount of companies impairments in a show of new machines even if the tractors are all one make..
@@GeorgeSaunders Thanks George, nice to know these details? Great video as per normal. I agree with you, the Fusion 3 is a very compact bale/wrapper machine. Good they using less plastic wrap now! They should really try to cut down waste and this helps you farmers too with lass need to keep removing lots of plastic from used wrapped bales! Shame JCB don't do a baler/wrapper I am sure JCB fans would love it?
At the moment not much as a lot are having problems finding recycling markets for it but I believe when it was originally invented it was designed to go to the incinerator in order to generate electricity.
There was some fair machines there George, I bet you had a cracking time. Thanks for the video.
Excellent vid again George looks like you all had a blast. Brilliant👍
Great film as always George. Looks like McHale make some lovely machinery, from what I've seen I think their balers are as good as Krone.
The Fusion 3 baler definitely the star of the show, mate. 👍
Really beautiful and i think you have enjoy it very much!
You know me and JCB Jan!
Great video George 👍 a lot of really good kit on demo there,👍💪💪
I love the sound of a set of mowers spooling up to speed excellent video George really enjoyable.
The smell of fresh cut grass aswell love it
Great video George some fine setups
Great video George, much to see .
fusion 3 baler / wrapper that's really a smart setup I'm a real fan of JCB they make top of the line equipment

Some Nice rigs. Do you think JCB will develop a 6000 series? Something in between 4000 and 8000, 4000 size and 8000 Power? :)

Well done, great coverage.
Looked to be a good day very interesting great video 👍👍👍
Slick batch of machinery
There's a couple Fusion 2's in our area but out here they could stand a 5x6 bale/wrap. Still not many JCB on the Prairies tho, lots of Fendt.
Farm just south of me here in Michigan has a McHale round baler, I think they use an in-line wrapper though...

Plenty of people there Trevor, most of the filming was done later in the day👍
George - That’s good, it looked a great demonstration!
Enjoyed the vid George thanks mate...
I reckon that 8330 will have gone missing after this haha
Good video George 👍🏻

We had a 420 on demo to have on the clamp - didn’t have the power for the job, needs another 40 horse! The 413s we have walked over it
Get those bales off the field before Mr. Crow arrives 😉
George had to clean his pants I reckon ;) 😂
Do you blame me😂
How are you allowed drive?
You definitely know where to send the 420 😊
We are suppose to be having the first 420 off the proper production line within the next 2 weeks
Great video
Mc hale mowers are useless at old medow grass they don’t get underneath the grass and leave it such a mess
Good stuff!
good gear
You know you are early to a video when you can only watch it en 360p
That triple looks the bits.
that was a nice vlog
At that speed cutting the grass, what happens to Flopsey who is hiding in the grass ?
Flopsy gets to see the inner workings of a mower. I know because I've had a few. Even had a seagull go through, it didn't fly away quick enough.
Where is the crowds?, seams dead.
George Saunders toys day ;)

It was a dealer day, so that's why it was just the two manufacturers

NR 1 JCB
Great video george. Is that your drone footage?
Yes of course👍
How much plastic are you saving? Still scarey how much plastic these machines use. What happens to the plastic when it is taken off at the other end?
Alot of it goes to the Chinese and is recycled.
So we are passing off the responsibility. How is plastic waste managed at a farm level?
Well it’s managed by putting diesel over it and lighting a lighter next to it and walk away
Japanese eat that
