Ty for this detailed video.🤜🤛
Looking to get a Hybrid Limited when they become avail.
Thank you so much for taking the time and do this video. This will help out a lot of viewers and thanks for taking my request of the new software system of hyundai and kia much appreciated it.
Very thorough and concise overview of what the new system can do.
Great video! Look forward to using this when my car gets delivered
Thanks for this, can’t wait for the Digital Key video.
i wish we could've seen google maps full screen on android auto in addition to the split screen. but other than that, great vid.
The car does have full screen google maps on Android Auto. All you have to do is tap the maps icon on the left when in split screen mode, and it will be full screen. Easy.
Ik that. But would've preferred it shown for more than .5 sec@@shrijanaryal4923
Ik it can but i wanted to see what it looks like. Welp, ended up with a car that has the same screens now. It's big enough to where i never use the full map tho. Cant rly tell it's size in videos. @@shrijanaryal4923
Fantastic video!😸
Wonderful car!!!
I’m currently looking at the sante fe hybrid crv or Rav what’s yall take??
Will this be available as an update to existing Hyundai and kia cars as an OTA update? Or is this only available on the newer models going forward?
Can y'all do a Hyundai sonata limited 2024
We noticed an oddity in our new 2024 Kona during a 1,000 mile trip after owning the car for two days. The navigation seems to be keyed to the Profile of the person who is active. I set the system to return Home (over 500 miles). When we stopped at a Rest Stop and switched drivers and Profiles, the route that I had set was not available. We had to program a route for that Profile. In the 2022 Kona, the Navigation was not Profile linked and merely picked up after the rest stop was concluded. Is there a way to make the navigation routing independent of any Profile?
Hey can you guys do a review of the 2024 Hyundai sonata limited?
Hopefully Hyundai will send us one soon 👍
Awesome
Great video. What year 24/25 cars will this be available and when will it be available. Thanks
I know the 2024 Kia Sorrento has it
The 2025 telluride will probably have it
2024 ev9 has it as well.@@Darren-kw4ih
Only models that get an updated dash layout that eliminates the dedicated NAV button.
2024 Kona upper upper trims have it, and I believe they are the only cars that got the wireless android/apple car play. But all the 2025 models seem to have it and will probably launch with the wireless already updated.
There doesn’t seem to be a setting that allows all four doors to unlock when I unlock with the door sensor. I have to find and push the button each time my wife gets in the car.
So there has been some talk about the wireless chargers overheating phones. Have you guys had any issues with that?
Picking my caligraphy model up March 29th but I just recently heard about this issue in a reviewers video.
After a couple hours on the charger with my phone connected to Android Auto, my phone was definitely getting very hot. But it also charges fast so that might be the trade-off compared to rivals
Does it have dash cam built in
No
My Kia dealer said my 2023 Kia Sportage EX trim has the technology for wireless CarPlay and is just waiting for the OTA. Is this true?
True
I know cause this is the product I worked on and Kia model is one of the first we launched later map update will include the wireless CarPlay
@@chengjiwei thank you for responding! Info is scarce. I know it’s a shot in the dark to ask, but was there a timeline given on when the OTA would arrive?
Will this be available in 2023 and 2024 IONIQ models?
Not yet, it will likely be added with an upcoming refresh
Did you report that the 24 model kia and Hyundai are reporting your driving habits to nexilexi and nexilexi reports it to insurance agencies and its increasing their premiums. ? I confirmed it with Kia and it's in the kia app/Hyundai app. I wonder if the new infotainment is related
how can i add youtube in android auto?
Is this on the 2024 Tucson??
No. Probably the 2025 mid-cycle refresh.
It’s crazy and unacceptable how Hyundai is not releasing simple software update for the previous models to add Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto
Waiting for my 2021 elantra limited to get the update :/
It’s not that simple. The issue is relating to the function of the dedicated NAV button on the prior systems. They eliminated the NAV button from the new system which eliminated the problem. Therefore, it’s not as simple as just a software update. There’s no way to remove the NAV button from existing vehicles.
it doesn't work like that. it's a hardware driven feature.
@@BrandonG8Manyou’re telling me these engineers can’t find a way to change the functionality of one button .
@FakeNews953 yes. Hyubdai doesn't have the capability to do that remotely, and they don't allow the dealers to do software updates. It's lame for sure. I know the newer cars are designed better, but this whole generation of hyundai/kia products can never be modified.
Yawn I don’t care about this technical stuff. As long as my boo be buying me them Bimmers, Benzs and Bentleys I’m good! My cakes are priceless boo boo so I needs the best!!!!!
Those aren't the best, accept the Bentlys
You don’t have an iPhone?!
Drew doesn’t but Mason does
Sorry but all this tech is derivative and put into a lousy brand.
what? i guess you didn't watch the video
