This is real, I actually have an iPhone X with that exact case from tech 21. Dropped it accidentally a lot of time it only has very tiny cracks on the sides and edges. Very good case indeed

if you shatter the rear glass on the device like I did with mine last week it costs $549.00 US to replace it, regardless of if you have apple car or not. that I what I was informed of by the Genius Bar at my local apple store. they do not replace the rear glass, the replace the whole phone and restore it for you while you are there. it is very unfortunate that they decided to use stupid construction in the design of this phone and did not do something similar to Samsung's internal structure, it just plain makes it way more expensive for the end user, and I irritates me as a person who uses apple products.
Looks like the line for home can get damaged just like a regular home button but how is that possible for a gesture to stop working? Does that mean the X has a hidden home button maybe.
Can you make more tests like this one on cheaper phones? People who are buying phones on a budget are more likely to need their phone to survive for longer periods of time than people who buy, for example, a new iPhone whenever a new one comes out. i was an apple isheep since 2007 and ive never used any other phone until the iphone x came out, the price is stupid and i decided to sell my iphone 7plus and get the galaxy s8 plus and ive been using that phone for over than 4 weeks and its just amazing i really enjoyed the switch and i can tell you samsung has many features that apple still doesnt have till now
