    GATE TRIGGERING AND LASCR ARE USED BUT FORWARD BREAKDOWN VOLTAGE(HIGH VOLTAGE), RISE IN TEMP. AND CHANGE IN V ARE NOT PREFERABLE BECAUSE THESE METHODS CAN DAMAGE SCR.

      For highest forward break over voltage you will have to see datasheet of SCR. There are different SCR available so one needs to accordingly.
