    Already built mine. Wish i had seen your video sooner. Would have saved me from a rebuild. To be positive, i did great, i’ve just improved motor,esc, and wiring paths. Great vid, thank you sir. Amazing fast great handeling car. Insane

      Sorry to hear that you had troubles with your Fantom! The build is indeed very tricky, especially the front axle. But it is worth it, the car looks and drives amazingly! Thanks for watching and the comment! Have fun with your Fantom!

    Very interesting build. So many value parts and at the same time a simple and pure construction. Like it

    Hi there a great build of the awesome Kyosho. Interesting a model having a chain drive system. Such a lot of metal components. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year 😊😊

    Hello friend, very satisfying video, beautiful video, lovely car to see! Friend, I'm at the beginning of the hobby, I still bought a chassis from the manufacturer xpress, model xm1s, and a good entry-level chassis, I want to adapt another chassis of the onroad 1/10 line, not very professional among the intermediaries, what do you recommend? I usually buy my cars at Rc mart..

      Thanks for watching and the comment! But, to be honest, I do not know if I can help you out on that matter. The chassis from XPress seems to be a decent chassis and a good place to start. If you are into "real" racing (like in competitions) then maybe this is not the perfect chassis but start with it, see how far you come and then upgrade to a higher end chassis.

    Hi mate, when you attached the front plate on top of the chassis as in (Step 6) did you use epoxy? or is this unnecessary?

      Thanks for watching! No, i didn’t use epoxy for this. No need.

    How do you remove chain links???

    • @arminrc

      I do not have this model any more but on step 15 of the manual there is some guide on how to disconnect the chain (please pay attention to the direction of the chain!).

    What motor and esc and servo did you Use??

    • @arminrc
      @arminrc  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ESC: Hobbywing XeRun StockSpec Motor: Hobbywing XeRun Brushless 4300kV Servo: any mini sized servo will do (a standard sized servo won't fit). But you can see all the parts quite clear in the video ...

    how many links should i remove from the chain? i took off 4. seems like i could take one more off, but it's such a pain and i think it would be impossible to link if i did! i also have to take it apart and check the rear for that a and b part. i have a freewheel thing going when i go in reverse.

      Check the tension of the chain when driving the car. Make sure that the chain does not drag on the battery (chain too short) and that the chain is not touching the ground (chain too long).

    Mine is very loose

      Check the manual step 15. I think there was some sort of explanation how to remove links.
