STEP BY STEP GUIDE
How to bulk delete emails in Gmail before a specific date
STEP 1
We can add a second Gmail account through the Google account settings, which we can access from this Gmail inbox by navigating to the Google profile image shown in the far right of the page.
Let's click on that now.
STEP 2
A panel is opened that shows the email address of the account that we are currently logged into
There is also an option below that to ‘Add another account’
If I click on that, we are taken to a Google sign-in page.
STEP 3
THe email for the account I am logged into is shown by default
But I’m going to quickly select that and replace it by typing in the email address of the account I want to add.
Click the blue Next button to confirm it.
Google then checks that the email address you entered is linked to a valid Google ID. If it doesn’t find one it will return an error message so make sure you enter the email address correctly.
STEP 4
If Google does find an account, it will then ask you for a password
I’m going to select the password that’s been pre-populated to highlight it, and I’ll type over that the correct password for the email account I want to add
Once I’ve done that, I’ll click on the blue Next button to confirm it.
STEP 5
If I now click into the Google account settings in my Gmail account, you’ll see that my other Woggle Guides account is shown and marked as the default account.
If I click on that, that opens a separate tab with my Woggle Guides email inbox shown.
And to return to the email account I added, all I need to do is click back into the Google account settings in this inbox, and choose the Contact Woggle email account that I have just added.
That also opens the email inbox in a new tab.
