I actually like that some characters are antisocial or unfriendly, because this is how reality is, too. Not everyone we meet is friendly and helpful.
but got to say, this is a game, we play games to gain some emotional relieve.
and we surely wants to be friendly sometimes, to everyone available.
I think the bottleneck for RPG Sims nowadays is that there are too few ways to increase the friendship
someone really don't like gifts, but maybe if you share the same interest with him/her?
if you like that concept I feel you'd love the TV show/series "The Walking Dead"

It’d be nice if the ingredient name turns green if you have them available for the dish you want to make. Maybe even show how many you can make with the amount of ingredients you have
I’m so excited for the dev, I loved watching the journey from the barebones game to what it now in the developer dev blog. So proud of how far the dev has come! And definitely excited for early access.
Had this wishlisted for so long, I can’t wait for the early access. I’m genuinely excited to play this.

Very valid point on the npc's, it would be better to have it die down at night and have certain areas a lot less busier than others due to location. i feel this way with Travellers Inn and the same flow of traffic 24/7
Docking areas like this, mostly in Asia are usually packed with people even at night.
@@Cibbic ahhh that makes sense then for this game… for Travellers Inn though.. I feel it still needs to change because the constant flow of traffic without change feels too much for a tavern in the middle of the forest

I agree. The viewpoint seems too close to my liking. Would like a zoom out option (barring that, someone could mod it in the future).

omg I've been waiting for this game since its announced, so excited!!!!!
i actually love the non-interactable npcs roaming around making the town lively. its actually what i wish farming games like stardew, story of seasons, harvest moon to have bcs tho not as lively as this one. but i personally would love to see different animations from them instead of just walking around, like maybe sitting in the bench, eating, fishing, or even small hand gestures. i know it's too much but i just love having them in the background, emphasizing us and the real npcs as the main characters!

i love this, it looks like a real passion project and im gonna love all the crafting/cooking stuff because that's always the main pull for me with these kinds of games and i like seëing that this game uses alot of the same item/resources that stardew valley uses so the same rpg creator was used to make this. I try'd to get into game creation myself but its just so much work and it would take forever for me to finish a game like this by myself since im alone and dont work well with others so i just leave it to other people, i just like to play these games.

if you visit China or Vietnam or anywhere aside Europe most towns/villages are full with people at all times. I know Korea closes down till 1-2 am. to say that having too many npcs walking about is not realistic tells me you live in a borrowing place. I lived in Germany 3 years and most towns were boring too.

Yes, I do live in a burrowing place 🤣 so maybe I can't relate very well, BUT.. my point was that this game is set in a cozy small seaside town, not a huge city? So it should naturally feel a little calmer and less busy right? In the centre of the town itself isn't bad i don't mind that, the problem is more with the secluded places like beaches/swamp/forests etc, like no matter where you go whatever time of day, there's NPCs wondering about in abundance. Maybe at night they could disappear or at least dwindle in numbers.

It is???? But steam says " to be announced" so how do you know? Ive been keeping my eyes on this since forever and he keep changing the release date so I never know when to expect it. This is my NR 1 game priority this year. Ive NEVER seen such design skill. Him being an architect before gaming is brilliant. I hope he makes more games aswell.

This is from the Kickstarters most recent update “A new trailer will be revealed in a few months which will give a better overview of the new additions to the game as well as provide an exact release date.” So basically not really soon as the update states the Alpha backers will get access to Beta in April. Summer if we are lucky maybe!

I really want to like this, but it looks like another thrown together, half-baked Stardew-like game.
The developer have a blog here on TH-cam I think. I don’t think this will be half baked. You shouldn’t compare every farming game to stardew valley, every game have their own uniqueness
