- Join me as i take you through the steps to make a tassel
you will need
1/2/3 choices of seed beads or just keep to one
A turning bead for the bottom I used a 3mm fire polish and a 15 sead bead.
a selection of focal beads
a Closed ring or a Jump ring
size 12 beading needle
one g thread or 4lb fireline or nymo
a pair of sharp scissors
flat nose pliers
and a lighter to burn down the thread

Wonderful tutorial! As someone who is learning this for first time being able to see EVERYTHING you are doing especially if there is something that could be an issue like tangling of the thread or anything that can't be problematic and you are working through..MAKE SURE you don't go out of the frame. I'm sure its difficult to remember that but if you could try to that would be fantastic. I know I'm going to mess up and every little too for correcting mistakes is very useful.😍😍😍
Im so glad you enjoyed it and hope you find it useful, it is hard sometimes to stay in frame , but practice makes perfect so they say lol ... each time i make a new video , i try harder to make sure im in frame , it isnt always easy as you can imagine... Is the 1 G thread you use just normal sewing thread?
Hi Linda , No, 1 G, thread is strong beading thread , sewing thread is very different , you can get the thread very easily from ebay or any beading store , hope this helps .... Thank you for your comment , Happy Beading 😊

Hiiii 😃... Yes the ring was from my stash, but if you look at eBay or a bead shop website and look for connector's, I'm sure you will be able to find something to your liking... Hope this helps, take good care, stay safe, and Very Happy Beading 🌹

Hi , maybe use the beading thread you usually use , and double it if you think it needs it , hope this helps
what outside diameter did you use for your closed jump rings?

How many tassels are on this bead please?
Hi, Its hard to say.. so my advice is to put as many on as you feel is right... There's no hard rule to how many tassels you can add, it's alot down to personal taste and if course to how many times you can pass through bead comfortably ... What size beads are you using? Can I use 6o’s?
