France 24's "Eye on Africa" Interviews ECW ED Yasmine Sherif Following South Sudan Mission

Education Cannot Wait’s (ECW) Executive Director Yasmine Sherif speaks to France 24 Georja Calvin Smith upon her return from South Sudan. Sherif visited the young nation to launch a new US$40 million 3-year programme that will support holistic education services for children who face severe risks as the result of conflict, forced displacement, poverty and climate change.
In addition, ECW also announced a half a million dollar First Emergency Response grant to support the immediate education response to the arrivals of refugees and returnees fleeing Sudan.
