This is how GROWN people behave forgive and let go 👌👏❤️
Exactly Queen O is too grown for the BS ppl be spreading. DON'T MAKE NO SENSE 🤦🏿♀️
@wm5253 You don't have to forgive all the time
You blk people love forgiving and that's why yall still aint got your 40 acres and a mule . ITS CALLED POLITICS! MANY YOUNG PEOPLE BEHAVE JUST AS GRACEFUL however DIANA WAS NASTTTTTTYYYYY towards alot of blk woman who are still living . FAR TOO MANY have spoken out. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY BLESSINGS THAT WOMAN BLOCKED?! THE POWER SHE WEILDED AGAINST other blk woman? PLEASE HUSH WITH THE FORGIVENESS ISH
depends on what it is; they didnt know each other so it was a dumb matter anyway since Sheryl Lee was just the actress and the people whod be the issue were the producers and writers. People use that 'grown people' bs for everything and then wonder why people prefer to love them from afar, instead of just apologizing if needed and taking responsibility where needed
Mature people
I wish she had shared Diana Ross impact on the industry for Black actors. She shared it once before but it needs to be shared again. The Boss truly paved the way.
She's a remarkable woman and talent.❤
An icon among icons, Diana Ross.
She doesn’t have to share anything on Diana… Diana was dirty vile woman back in the day.
Sheryl Lee Ralph looks so fantastic and I love the full circle moment for both. There is no one like The Boss, Ms. Ross 🌸🌸🌸
This lady is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my life. Does she age or nawh? Lol. My goodness! That hair is giving more life! She can do no wrong in my eyes!
Open your eyes .There’s plastic surgery .And a thing called weave and wigs. And don’t believe everything celebs. say.
@@monadugas9113Close your eyes, there's something called an ugly hater (that's you) and she still looks beautiful...so there.
Diana Ross is so magnificent!!! I love the way Diana does Diana, if you get what I mean. She is comfortable being who she is and lives up to the legend that she is. Great story.
My goodness! Cheryl Lee Ralph is surprisingly 67!
Wow, she looks fantastic!
It's "Sheryl," honey :)
Dreamgirls was (loosely) about The Supremes though...
This is how grown women handle conflict…forgive and keep it moving!
She is such a good story teller!
How can you not like the beautiful Sheryl Lee Ralph?! You have to be crazy!!!!!!
Tooooo much diva for me. Cool it down.
Not for me:) @@toddnallastx
@@toddnallastx Not for me!
Dreamgirls was Loosely on the Supremes.. Effie Character was supposed to die in the 2nd part of the Play but Jennifer Holliday threat to quit if they did that so they made her role bigger
You are right. Jamie Foxx’s role is based on Barry Gordy. The stage producers/writers told the cast & crew never say the Broadway show is based on Motown & Diana Ross & The Supremes.
@@films5555I read that the Effie character was based more upon Etta James and not Florence Ballard.
@@curtismichael4703 It was Florence because Effie was supposed to have died from drugs. Holiday fought hard for them to change it.
Well in the original play (“Project 9” or a different name), the character based on Effie did die
Untrue, Nell Carter was the original Effie. Ms Carter probably made no connection to the Supremes. Jennifer Holliday publicly stated her performance was based on her mother's relationship with her father, and rejected Jennifer Hudson's Oscar reference to Florence Ballard. Yeah, may Tom Eyen and his partner drew themes from the Supreme-Motown drama but the comparison was overwrought. By the way, how did that lawsuit go?
Dianna Ross was such a wish to so many women.
Yes, so many women wished to be her…so many jealous women who spew nasty rubbish about her
People love to see Black Women fighting one another.
Can we please UNITE once and for all.
Forgive...
Let Go...
Move forward...
Ms. Ross's children were raised by her mother.
Grandmothers are the absolute best!❤
❤ what you had to say about uniting. Say it loud for the folks in the back, lol.
Did want to mention her mother didn't raise the kids. She merely stepped in to help when needed. U gotta hear Rhonda's and TER's stories of how Ross arranged commitments to be home with the girls as much as possible. And travelled with her. The boys never knew their maternal grandmother. She passed away long b4 Ross' 2nd marriage.
Ms Ralph is such a jewel!!!!
love that for them 💞 LOVE both of them 💞
Well obviously diana was mad. That was right after Flo died and mary had made a tell all book.
Absolutely. Mary Wilson had done a book destroying Ross's character, and then the play came out, which Wilson said it was the Mary Wilson version of the Supremes. I would have been furious as well. I am glad Sheryl and Ross made up. Patti Labelle and Ross mended fences as well.
Timeline is off, Mary wrote the book LOOONG after the play, she named her book Dreamgirl: My Life As A Supreme in honor of the play, after she saw it and was inspired to write her story. The incident Sheryl is referring to happened before the book came out it was during the time Dreamgirl was a broadway "blockbuster"
@@kevinharris3993Mary never said it was the Mary Wilson version of the Supremes, the book you a referring to, you should go read because it really did not destroy Diana's character AT ALL, the press focused on a couple of stories and created a beef between Wilson and Ross, the book does not trash Diana. Lastly The play came out BEFORE Wilson wrote the book not after, Wilson was inspired to write the book after seeing the play because she wanted the real story of the Supremes told
@@dctalk1117 are you ok? Nobody reading all that bro
@@TheHeat205Networkyou read enough of it to know you were incorrect in your comment. now are you ok?
Love this! ❤️😍
Diana Ross never talks about anyone!!
And that's what I love about her.
Same here@@jacquelineharris2477
I never seen the play, but the movie definitely was based on Motown Records and Supreme. The movie even had a knock off Jackson 5. lol I never knew there was a lawsuit against the movie.
That was the funniest scene. And some of Jimmy's character took from Marvin Gay. especially when he wanted to make different music and the label didn't want him too
That feud was in one person's head. Ms.Ralph's
Oprah love's what Sheryl is saying about Diana Ross, and it's nice that it's water under the bridge, i just wish Sheryl had spoke to Oprah about her friend Mary Wilson R.I.P, Diana was not Sheryl's friend. LOVE me some Sheryl Lee Ralph.
Oh please. Let Mary Wilson sleep in peace.
Accept it. PEOPLE LOVE DIANA ROSS
@@dddddadadad1796 what he is saying is True yes people love Ros, But Sheryl and Mary were vey close friends, Sheryl publicly took it very hard when Mary passed, nothing wrong with honoring Mary who people seem to forget helped paved the way along with Diana
That part, I've been at lot of Mary's and show's and Sheryl was there, and some of Mary's Birthday party's and again Sheryl was there. @@dctalk1117
EXACTLY she's just trying to clear the air these negative nancies are so disgusting in these comments
@@dctalk1117 SIGH. One more time. MARY WILSON IS DEAD AND GONE. Can she REST?! Oprah was specifically asking about DIANA ROSS and tbh SLR idolized DIANA ROSS. She’s said so over and over as infinitum.
There was and is NO need for her to have mentioned Mary Wilson.. if it was a conversation about The Supremes- sure. DIANA ROSS was the topic here.
Sheryl Lee Ralph is so gorg!!!
Good to know these ladies are thinking about it
I Love Sheryl, Patti, Gladys, Martha and RIP to Florence and Mary and much love.
Interesting, so what to do w/ the newest stories of Sheryl Lee Ralph not being the nicest on set of Abbott Elementary?! New experiences and not just void stories? Lesson: Be the change we want to see - kindness never costs a dime!
What stories about her not being nice? The one your writing?
@@Blooooooooooopppexactly, what a loser lol
Miss Ross apparently has used the 'we were all young once' line to paper over her past behavior. The fact that she was actively ignoring and avoiding Sheryl Lee--mind you for years-- before Ross's child forced her to acknowledge she was ignoring Sheryl Lee says it all. There's a story of her putting on the same act at a public gathering with Mary Wilson--with fewer words spoken. No, never a sorry or I regret ("I acted like a witch with a capital B") Just I did what I did and I've moved on... Miss Ross is a piece of work... Many respect her many admire her but...she's a mess... Thank God her children are her testimony.
Ross' big beef with Dreamgirls was, she said, twofold: she knew the people involved and they didn't run the play by her or give her a heads up about the plays narrative AND, she said they were making money off of her name. In other words, while her behavior might leave something to be desired, her reasons made sense. As mentioned she sued the movie and got an out of court settlement. She wasn't just being a bitch to be a bitch. She was protective of her name. As for Mary Wilson, she had her own difficult relationship with Ross, and both were to blame.
You can't read her mind. It's quite possible she was embarrassed and ashamed of how she treated Sheryl during that encounter and didn't want to face her. Bottom line......the ladies cleared things up, Sheryl accepted Ross's apology and they parted in happiness and understanding.
Wow! Oprah really protects Diana ross
I have heard so many negative things about Diana Ross over the years vs darker skinned women.. Also heard so many stories of other black women being gracious and looking past it and taking the high road.
You heard a bunch of lies
lovely!!!!
Sooo dream girls the movie got sued?
This story is very true! I heard it from an Original Cast-member of Dreamgirls. Diana has a history of not being nice, Patti and Gladys have similar stories.
Come on, we all have instances of not being nice during our lifetimes. She is only human, just like the rest of us. Gladys wasn't being nice mocking a fellow performer during one of her shows.
@@solovoyagerExactly. I agree

Thee Sheryl Lee Ralph…she is absolutely gorgeous and so sweet but also courageous…I love me some Black WOMEN!❤
I thought she said it was Sardi's restaurant.
She did in the Oprah Where Are They Now interview. Maybe she got them mixed up. That was a long, long time ago.
I know who you are and walks away. So what? Does she owe her money?? NO.
Wow she was being petty over Sheryl getting an acting role! An actress taking a job is not a personal attack no matter if you do think it's about you. Blame the writers!
You know Ms Ralph is being messy with her passive aggressive story. All smiles but feeds into negative stories about Diana. If i was Diana I would be pissed too about a broadway show making money off my life story and i aint getting paid. I really dont like Ms. Ralph.🎉 I cant put my finger on it but ive never liked her. Her telling this story a hundred times makes me like her less.
I wonder if Oprah, would ask Meryl Streep about a Hollywood "fued" ion think so
The questions are agreed on before the show. Ms. Ralph has told that story many times.
Diana seems to have enjoyed the malice and feuding in the day
“And how did you fix it?” Oprah shut up! Sheryl Lee didn’t need to fix anything
A 🐍 interviewing the legendary Sheryl Lee Ralph
Why tell the story, only to clean it up?
So many use drama to make themselves relevant.
Because she was asked ding bat
❤❤❤❤❤
She did beyonce the say way but later made it right
Diana has been messy with a lot of other black stars down through the years. She has grown up a lot and I'm proud of her.
It's totally unfair and sexist to label a woman as messy just because she stands up for herself, her business standards, and her brand. Unfortunately, there can be double standards when it comes to how men and women are perceived in these situations. We need to challenge and change these stereotypes. It's important for everyone, regardless of gender, to assert themselves and set boundaries without unfair judgment. And you're right, it's not just about gender, but also about race. Diana Ross, being a talented black woman, has faced her share of unfair judgments. Let's continue to support and celebrate strong women like Diana Ross who break barriers and inspire us all! 🌟💪🏽
She has also supported many too.
Oprah is so freaking messy. Sheryl is a sweet person. Now they are remaking everything. Diana Ross is the queen
But let Sheryl have her moment.
She wrote it in her book. Oprah loves Diana. How is this messy. She emphasized they made up.

Sherly Lee is stunning I wonder if she taje asemprlic or whatever Is Oprah being Messy!??
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Now Oprah Winfrey can ask Sheryl Lee Ralph the right questions. She should ask Tyler Perry the right questions.
Tyler Perry are you Gay?
Tyler Perry was that you on the recording Monique played?
Tyler Perry if that was you why won't you make it right between you and Monique?
Tyler Perry did you pay the mother of your child to have a baby for you?
Tyler Perry is the reason you don't want to come out in your truth as a GAY man is because you don't want to be a part of the LGBT COMMUNITY. .
Wondering about someone's sexual orientation is exclusively an African American church community thing. For the rest of the world, it's way down the list of things to wonder about.
Maybe Ross didn't like being exploited ?
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💝💝💝💝
I'm going to say this very definitively.. Diana Ross never should have been in a group because she was too competitive. I think competitive in the sense to make it as a star and she pursued Berry Gordy in order to do so; even if she didn't pursue, I believe she gave in to his advances if that's how it went. But, it was at the expense of her group mates, unfortunately. With that being said, Diana will never approve of a biopic while living. At least one that starts at the beginning of the Supremes. She'll probably do one of her own solo career, but not going back to the origins of the supremes and throughout their reign. Why? Because she would be seen in a negative light, the antagonist or the villain in the biopic/story. There's just no way of getting around that without telling the hard truth about Diana Ross. That's why whoever it was (her and her lawyers maybe) sued the people who made the actual movie with Jennifer hudson and Beyonce in it
Winfrey has been a ross fan and gushed over her for years!!! As with everything else she's involved in it has to be of benefit to her !!! Regardless of the truth .....recollections may differ .
You have to be on Diana Ross level to have a feud with her... she's unbothered by irrelevant people 💀
like who? The women she had feuda with that could sing her under the table
@amcra1 we're talking about stardom, those "singers" make neighbourhood hits while she make international hits. They are not the same!!!!💀

Woman and jealousy, it’s big believe me..🙄
I don't think "jealousy" is the correct word. As Sheryl Lee Ralph explained, Diana Ross was HURT because she believed the Broadway show Dreamgirlss was based on her actual life and it didn't show the main character in a positive light. Also, I've worked with and around men my entire career ---- HUNNNNNNNY - men can display high levels of jealousy too. It just gets labelled differently and then celebrated -- "Man, he's a real go-getter. He stuck it to so and so..." .
