Ross took control of her career, like it or not, Ross said it's my way or no way,and she made that clear when signed that Meg contract with RCA after leaving Motown. That set the tone for the music industry to try and dismantle her career. She was not willing to deal with this crazy American music market and took it for what it's really like. Ross did not suffer a best in her popularity, selling albums, and sold-out concerts overseas. That is what's wrong with Music today. You only know what America puts in front of you, and it indoctrinates your mind to ping one person music against another. People are indoctrinated thru education, media, church, and how they think and perceive the world. It's sad! However, Ross has not lost a beat. She is still a success to this day. While Whitney has one of the most beautiful voices of any pop artists, especially during the late 80s thru 90s, Ross exudes the complete embodiment of what a Megastar is and possesses and shows the resilience and longevity that very few artists male or female has ever had in this business.
