Dueteronomy 6 verse 4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord your God is one What do you think this verse means? The Aramaic word for God is אלהא Elāhā ( Biblical Aramaic) and ܐܠܗܐ Alāhā ( Syriac), which comes from the same Proto- Semitic word (* ʾil-) as the Arabic and Hebrew terms. You have no idea what you’re talking about and I know you don’t read the Bible. You just repeat what other people told you like a parrot.
I tend to agree with Arius. There's much more evidence in scripture for subordinationism than for the trinity. Think about it... When Jesus prayed, "“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Do you really think Jesus was speaking to an equal? No. The Father is above him and in total control.
Shows you don’t understand the incarnation of the Word of God. “who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:6-8 KJV
@@St.MosestheBlack KJV is not the best translation of the original Greek. 5 You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men and by sharing in human nature. The trinity was made to solve the problem of Jesus being worshipped as God? The better solution is to just worship the same one God Jesus worshipped, his Father in heaven. This worked for his disciples. They worshiped The Father and revered His son who had His name.

I am going to start out by saying that I am not a Trinitarian. I reject the Trinity. However, I still believe in the diety of Christ, and so I felt that it was important to comment To understand verses like this we have to understand Jesus' humanity. Scripture says in Colossians 1:15 that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. In Philippines it says that Christ humbled Himself unto death to the cross. We see other verses where Jesus says that the miracles He does the Father works through Him. Now, Jesus Christ had a human body while living on this earth. He had a flesh. That is the only way that the sacrifice could work. So when Jesus said, "The Father is greater than me" Jesus is talking about the flesh being subordinate to the divine... And that is true even with Christians. All Christians are supposed to have the Spirit of God living inside them, and our flesh is supposed to be in submission to that spirit. That is why Paul says, "The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." Jesus never had that problem. Jesus Christ's flesh was always perfectly submitted to the spirit.
@@saltandlight316hard to say. As we can only guess what certain passages could mean. Unless we would have the spiritual information. Usually it won't be like that. Most people in Christianity believe that trinity is right. Maybe 99,9 %. I still think they can be saved. Even though to me it looks they are quite wrong in that. But Bible does not define what you believe about Jesus existence, as long as you believe through him we get our name to the book of Life and he is the son of God, which God has risen from dead. That is pretty much all?
While in the flesh, rallying to the point of declaring " it is finished", Jesus walked as a man and limited himself to walk as a man, having the fullness of character, while maintaining the test apparent to us all, having to pray, and fast so as to set an example of how many must live. Once he is ascended he reassumed his full glory and all knowingness. In the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, he is Alpha, and Omega. Yet still, God and his ways are a mystery. His ways are above our ways.
Since it wasnt till Theophilus of Antioch in 280AD mentioned the expression 'trinity' we ponder over Paul's words that "After my going away men will arise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples for themselves" (Acts 20:30 & 2 Peter 2:1,2) We see plainly this is exactly what happened if we look at history objectively not from a biased religious perspective! The monstrous Roman emperor Constantine ( who murdered both his wife & son ) Not only convened the council where the first phase of the trinity was established but even INFLUENCED the decision to call Jesus 'God'! The trinity is a direct result of Paul's words!
Being a teacher of Ancient Greek, let me clarify the Logos confusion, an explanation which also harmonizes with PreNicene Christians (< 325 AD). λέγω Lego = I speak, I say (verb) λόγος logos = spoken word of LOGIC and reason; a logos is spoken from a speaker In the beginning, God spoke (Lego λεγω) and the Logos (λογος) went forth from God creating all things. "Let there be light" and the logos went forth from God when he spoke, and light was made by the logos. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In John 4:24 Jesus says God is spirit, and so the spirit of Christ (logos) went forth from God who is spirit and He is Holy...and all things were made by God the Father THROUGH the Logos λογος.
Quite understandable. I think holy spirit is not person nor God. What he/it hears that he/it speaks. Not very personal. Kind of communicative force maybe coming from God. And now represents us Jesus, when He is with God in heaven.
Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be saved? And if so, why did our Savior, nor the disciples, ever teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Why would Christians give credence to a council of men coming together to argue who God is (The Council of Nicaea in 325 CE), and thereby seek to define God? Can mankind define God? No, God reveals Himself to mankind. 1 John 5:7-8, The Johannine Comma is an interpolation according to Christian scholars (words added) to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is none. Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples, but the disciples only baptized in the Savior’s name only, as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (published circa 316 CE) in his book, Matthew 28:19, that Christ actually said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus ever heard of the Trinity-at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499). Martin Luther is quoted in a sermon saying, "It is indeed true that the name 'Trinity' is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man" (The Sermons of Martin Luther, Vol. 3, p. 406, 1988). It is time that the false Trinity Doctrine cease to exist in Christianity! Catholics and Protestants agree that “Whoever will be saved: before all things, it is necessary to keep the Catholic faith… unless he keeps this faith whole, he will perish everlastingly...And the Catholic faith is this: we worship one God in Trinity” (Catholicism, p. 69, 1961). Protestant professor of Theology James White, states, “The Trinity doctrine is misunderstood as well as ignored. It is so misunderstood that a majority of Christians when asked, give incorrect and at times downright heretical definitions of the Trinity” (James White, The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). According to James White, around 75% of Christians, who think themselves to be Trinitarians, are actually Modalists. Modalism: One God who at different times represents Himself in three different modes of being: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, then why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which historically developed over 300 years after Christ? To say that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, when Christ never stipulated the doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation is the grossest form of legalism! The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation when Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, that many will actually stand condemned for believing in the Trinity according to the Tradition of men, and not of God. Christ warned us about teaching doctrines without one thus says the LORD! And He...said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He said to them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:6-9). Christians do not need to believe in the Trinity in order to receive salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God! If Christians needed to believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, then it would be taught in the New Testament by our Lord and Savior, and it, the Trinity, was not taught in the New Testament. The Trinity is a useless Doctrine based solely on the misunderstanding of men. It is time for Christians to free themselves from the doctrines of men. The Son of God declared: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). YAH is the meaning of I AM. By this statement, Christ told the Jews that He is their God, the very God of Israel. Not to take this statement as true in that He, the Son of God, is lesser than His Father and God is tantamount to calling Him a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism.
And one of the ways that they lie to fit their doctrine is they say; “God the son “ , but nowhere in scripture does it ever call Jesus Christ; God the son , it is Son of God.
We have received some responses from our short survey. The question was, “Is the One God who is a unity of three persons also a person himself? That is, will we see the one in three god in heaven when we get there? Does this triune god have the throne of his own besides that of the Father and of the Son?” The responses are very conflicting and confusing. Please consider them for yourself. 1. A pastor said yes, the three persons make up one person. Asked to clarify how, the pastor has not come back to us yet. 2. A theologian said, they do not make one person, it is impossible to make one person from three persons. The Father is the unity of the trinity, and He is the One God. That raises many questions. If the Father is the One God, where is the triune God? How can the Father be a unity of himself and two others, to make one, if he is already the one? 3. Another person whose title is unknown said that the three persons of the trinity do not form one person. They are One God only in terms of having one purpose. 4. From our previous experiences, we have heard some say the One God of the Bible is the Godhead, i.e. just a divinity or deity, without further clarity on what that is? 5. Another theologian said that the One God who is a unity of three persons is not material or physical. That means the One God is an abstraction. In other words, he is a theory, or a concept in the minds of those who believe in him. We question. The Bible refers to the One God as “He” and he speaks. How can an abstraction, a theory or a concept in the mind be referred to as He? Does a concept speak? 6. Another person said the One God is a mystery, thus leaving the One God undefined. Sounds like a quick way for human wisdom to escape accountability for the confusion that human wisdom has created (akin to pleading insanity in court). We raise an issue with this unexplained mystery of human wisdom. The trinity doctrine, that is put together by human minds gives us the triune God. Thus, those who made the trinity doctrine must be able to explain it. In other words, we are not questioning the Bible, but the trinity doctrine, because the trinity doctrine is a product of human wisdom. I don’t know about you, but this sounds like a lot of confusion. It seems there is no one with a clear understanding of what this human creation called the triune god is? To those who say it is a mystery we question. Why should human wisdom create a doctrine which it cannot explain and cannot understand? Is that not a reason to discard the doctrine and return to that only which the Bible says, that the is One God, the Father, who has Only One begotten Son. The One God, the Father has and is also a Spirit? No three equal persons making up confusion? Regards, The Rock Fortress Ministries.
It may be a lot of confusion but part of that confusion is putting God in a box and dictating to Him what He can and can not do. You have to understand that God has infinite wisdom and power that He can do as he pleases. Please take note that as humans, we have extremely limited wisdom to understand God except what He wants us to know and understand. Jeremiah 31:31 "The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. Jeremiah 31:32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them, " declares the LORD. Jeremiah 31:33 "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Jeremiah 31:34 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ’Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." Jeremiah 31:35 This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar - the LORD Almighty is his name: This chapter tells us that God almighty has promised a new covenant for Israel and Judah. Centuries later, Jesus came in flesh and made a new covenant for mankind. His coming have made a lot of prophecies from the old testament like those from Isaiah 53, Isaiah 9:6 and Isaiah 7:14 to name a few into reality. If I'm not mistaken, more than 300 prophecies became true when Jesus came into our world.

The narrator of this video says: "The doctrine of the trinity can be seen as the solution to a problem; the answer to a dilemma that faced the first followers of Jesus." Really? Where in the NT does it say that Jesus' followers had a problem concerning who God was? Answer: NOWHERE!! Jesus' followers knew exactly who God was and that God was not a trinity. Consider what Jesus' followers said about who God was: 1. JOHN quoted Jesus at John 17:3, where he prayed to his Father, calling him the "only true God." 2. PAUL said: "But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him." (1 Cor. 8:6) 3. PETER said: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!" (1 Pet. 1:3) The NT Bible writers confirmed what Jesus said at John 20:17, where he said: "I am ascending to my Father and my God." So, clearly, Jesus' Father is also Jesus' God. There is no trinity!
Even the famous John 1.1 passage is against the trinity, as we find that "the God" is distinguished from the word that "was God" - two different titles, used to identify two different roles
Constantine took his position from Plato, not scripture! - saying there were two gods. 95% of the people invited were from the west, only a few were invited from the Eastern empire.
Jesus never confused anyone with his message. It was quite clear and defined. After finishing your video, I only saw how different men argued and differed in their own opinions and their definition of the word of Jesus defined and coined Christianity eventually ending up breaking the religion, the people and the message and the Bible had been revised several times and thus, people will still differ in their opinion. In Christianity, all the prophets who came before practiced monotheism and preached about one God. Jesus himself preached about monotheism and nowhere in the revised Bible or old Bible had Jesus said he is the son of God or that he should be worshipped. This testimony of Jesus can be found in various parts of the Bible. Jesus is the true messiah of God and he served as a messenger to guide us in this world and showed us a path success in the next world as well. I love Jesus and believe in him as the true messiah. He never preached about three godheads nor put himself on the same pedestal as the almighty God. Moses, Noah, Abraham and all the rest shared the same message. His apostles testified to this too. Let us not allow the devil to mislead us in this world. Praise be to God
If the 'trinity' is the 'central doctrine of the Christian church' & the Holy Bible is its manual, then, why is the word 'trinity' not in the bible? Why is the formula 'God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit' ALSO not in the Holy bible? and finally why is ' There are three persons in one God' ALSO not there?
This is an excellent brief introduction to the historical development of the doctrine of the Trinity. The presenter makes it clear that Christianity derived from Judaism, a monotheistic religion. The original confession of faith found in the gospels is that Jesus is the Messiah (Christ) the Son of God. However, the first disciples, Jews, did not equate him with YHWH. Rather, they saw him as exalted to heaven to sit at the right hand of God to act as his messianic agent. Of course, in the Greco-Roman world of the time, a being exalted to heaven would be viewed as divine and as a god. The problem from the second century onwards was to reconcile Jewish monotheism with the idea of Jesus being a second, if subordinate God. The presenter traces the events that unfolded on the road to Nicea and afterwards. Various solutions emerged or were promloted/developed. We see the rise of Modalism which was later rejected. We see the rise of the Logos theologians, incorporating Greek philosophical ideas and applying these to Christianity. It appears that all pre - Nicene Fathers were in some way subordinationists. The presenter traces the struggle between Arius and his opponents and the exaggerated importance of Nicea. The debate raged on. The contribution of the Cappodochian Fathers is discussed as the discussion continues to evolve. What is perfectly clear is that the so called 'orthodox' doctrine of the Trinity that we have today is the result centuries of thelogical discussion and debate and is of post-Apostolic origin. Indeed, Contrary to public opinion, the matter was not resolved at Nicea and the debate continued long after.

@@S.R.M. : I try to resp[ect the views of others, even if I disagree. I agree with much of what you said about the doctrine of the trinity which is post-apostolic. However, where I have an alternative view is when you talk about John 8 :58. and its meaning. For example, You use a translation that says : "before Abraham was I AM." Why have you put the 'I AM' in capital letters ? This is clearly a translators bias and an attempt to link the words of Jesus back to Exodus. It is a well known Trinitarian or deity of Christ strategy. Other translations simply use 'I am' with no theological interpretation. Indeed, I have seen other translations rendering the verse "I have beenn." Clearly, this is a verse where translator's bias and presuppositions come into play. Next you state that " Yah is the meaniong of I AM.". This is not quite true as today scholars render the meaning of the divine name more like '!I will be what I will be" or such like. Thus, by rendering the passage in Exodus more accurately and differently from the traditional rendering of the KJB, the entire I am link and argument disappears. Furthermore, a look at the context of the passage shows that it is about Jesus' messianic claims, not claims to divinity. Throughout the chapter, Jesus differentiates himself from the God/Father(John 8 : 16; 17-18; 19; 26; 28; 29; 38; 42; ). to the misunderstanding Jews. A claim of pre-existence is not the same as a claim that Jesus is God'YHWH. Surely, rather than focus on one controversial verse, we should focus on the entiretly of the NT which depicts Jesus as the Son of God. Indeed, You affirm this but seem to understand that he is God also. The phrase 'Son of ' differentiate a Son from his Father and makes it clear that they cannot be the same person/being/
@@gerryquinn5578 : Thanks, Gerry. I find it strange that people will ignore hundreds of straight forward passages and build their case on texts that are controversial and often musunderstood.
The Logos did not start in the church with Justin Martyr. There were earlier fathers who were affected by this philosophical way of thinking, including Ignatius of Antioch.
Indeed. Most don’t realize how the philosophy of “the Logos” goes back to Greek philosophers such as Heraclitus and Plato. Folks like Justin Martyr and Origen then “anoint” these Greek philosophers and spoil their goods to build a new Christian version of the Logos. This new version likewise draws heavily on the synthesis of the Hebrew Scriptures with Greek Logos philosophy in the writings of Philo of Alexandria, a very influential Jewish writer living at the same time as Jesus.
I'm still trying to find the reasons why these men dreamed up their Trinity doctrine to begin with. All I can find is that they think Jesus is God because he was speaking the words of the Father, and forgetting that, then think Jesus was speaking his own words. While the background guitar music is pleasant, and while this doctrine was refined and debated, and standardized over hundreds of years, giving us the Trinity doctrine we have today, we must realize that this is a religion of men, and not what Jesus taught, nor the Apostles. This was all done after them, and while the Hebrews were captive by the Greeks and then the Romans. These are Romans and Greeks trying to incorporate Christianity into their belief system. That's why the one living God has been turned into a three-headed "one god" group called The Trinity. Do we read Jesus saying the words of the Nicene Creed? Read the Nicene Creed aloud, and then try imagining the real Jesus of the scriptures actually saying that... Ridiculous! Jesus' creed, and the Creed of Christians, is Deuteronomy 4:39. Jesus didn't worship himself. Jesus didn't teach us to worship Jesus. Jesus didn't say he was equal with the Father. Jesus didn't say the Holy Spirit is a third person. It's elegant and grand. It's an elegant blasphemy, a grand lie of Satan, which humanity has been deceived by, just as Adam was in the garden.
Very true! Jesus taught us to worship the Father, not himself. And only by incorporating “the Logos” philosophy of folks such as Heraclitus, Plato, and ultimately the synthesis created by Philo can the later Trinitarian theologies even begin to be understood in their origins and development. The philosophy of the Logos wasn’t originally even about Jesus.
Weird thing is when I initially called out to God I didn't think of the trinity when I did it. And since then when I pray I don't think of three things three entities or whatever so I don't need the Christian religion to find God or his son thank you. The veil has been torn
"Oh People of the Book! (Jews and Christians) Commit no excesses in your religion, nor say of God anything but the truth. Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, was (no more than) a messenger of God, and His Word which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him. So believe in God and His messengers. Say not, 'Trinity.' Desist! It will be better for you, for God is One God, Glory be to Him! (Far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is God as a Disposer of affairs" (4:171).
Don’t blame the Christian anything. The KKK claimed to be Christian that’s not what Christians are we are to be Christ like and follow his teachings. Christians didn’t invent Trinity , satan did

Precisely. That's all the trinity is. Man-made human philosophy. It sounds very elegant and beautiful when explained in such philosophical terms, yet it's not biblical. End of.
No such thing as a trinity. God is one , always been one never will need more to redeem. He redeemed us by Jesus Christ (his person) and shed blood for us (by his person) God is God . And God is ONE. He redeemed us not a 2nd god or 3rd ONE

It all sounds like stretches towards a desired logic. Why cant God be one, everywhere and at all times? He takes up residence in the believers hearts thus proving his omnipresence.
Jesus said: Hear O Israel, The Lord our God is One Lord. Jesus Christ has a God whom he prays to and obeys and worships, Does God have a God whom He prays to, and obeys and worships? For 3 days and 3 nights Jesus was dead in the grave. Has God ever died? Is God even capable of dying? (actually there are several things God can not do, such as committing sin, lies, or being tempted, or dying). Jesus said his Father is the only true God (was Jesus lying?) because if the Father is the only true God, then anyone else who claims to be God is a false God. The Apostle Paul said But to us there is but one God, the Father(Was Paul lying?)
Although I am not a Christian (I am a Baha'i) I am really enjoying your presentation Dr. Reverend Tim Hull, I look forward to watching more of them! After having read quite a bit now about the origins of the modern concept of the Trinity and its difference from early "greek" father's Christology, it seems to me that really early christianity could be considered as one of the prime forces behind the creation of the philosophy we now call Neoplatonism, although it is usually attributed to Plotinus, his Neoplatonic ideas of how the absolute can relate to the contingent is exactly what the early church father's like Justine the Martyr and Origen were discussing in how Christ relates to the Father and before them Philo. On top of that Plotinus' main teacher Ammonius had parents who were Christian though Prophyry claims he renounced his faith, this is contradicted by other church fathers.

THE ONENESS/TRINITARIAN DOCTRINE EXPLAINED AT LAST : YHWH, the Most High God, planned and prophesied for Himself to send Himself to Earth as his own Son: agreeing with Himself, He volunteered Himself to His self to offer Himself in obedience to His self. Then He impregnated a woman with Himself, in order to become His Son - who was really just Himself - who prayed to Himself and begged Himself not to let this happen to Himself, before finally forsaking Himself and obeying Himself unto death to prove His loyalty to Himself. While dead, He resurrected Himself so that He could return to Himself to sit at His own right hand, and to serve as a mediator between mankind and Himself. With Satan's forces defeated, in the end, He turns His kingdom back over to Himself, ruling alongside His self forever.

One example that this video is incomplete is that both Modalists and proto-Trinitarians like Justin and Valentinus and Tatian and later Tertullian and Hippolytus and others all taught just like the Jews that Logos was not initially generated until at or just before the precosmic begetting or enunciation of Logos. All of these, the proto-Trinitarians and Modalists and Jews taught that prior to Logos being expressed God the Father was a divine omnipresent spirit monad. The only difference between the Modalists who held the Bishopric exclusively especially in Rome until at least the middle 3rd century, and the proto-Trinitarians who didn't begin to develop until the middle 2nd century and later among philosophy college graduates, was the identity of the Deity revealed or the expressed Logos. The proto-Trinitarian leaders were extremely schismatic, were passed over for leadership positions in favor of Modalist candidates and were rejected and excommunicated and exiled in all stages of their early development, especially during both the first wave and second wave of trinitarian doctrinal development.
The Trinity was a heresy forced on the church early on. The Bible never talks about God being triune. There is only one God. However, denying the deity of Christ is also heresy. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God. God is a spirit. Humans cannot see a spirit. Therefore, God became a man so that we could better know who He was. God is all powerful, and all knowing. It is completely possible for an all powerful God to be in heaven on His throne, and on earth as Jesus Christ at the same time. If you say that is false then you must deny the part of Scripture that says that every true follower of Christ has the Holy Spirit living inside them. The Holy Spirit is another name for God's spirit. How can all believers have the spirit of God living inside them and God be in heaven at the same time? Because God is everywhere and He is all powerful. Scripture also says that only the name of Jesus can save. The reason that is is because He is the full revelation of who God the Father is. That is why Jesus said, "If you have seen me you have seen the Father." If you deny Jesus Christ you are denying God.
Without first defining the term 'deity of Christ', we are therefore left to question the meaning of such a claim with respect to scripture. That said, and should this be a valid criticism, then it would also be written in scripture as such, and in-contrast with interpretive reasoning - ie; _'for unless you believe in the deity of Christ, you will die in your sins'_ - as an example However, and as it turns out, there are no such written commandments or decrees found anywhere in scripture. Having said that, there are other issues with the believe that Jesus is GOD, as with the claim that 'GOD became a man', of which, and here again, is nowhere written, but rather, revealing to be a product of human interpretation. As for GOD being in heaven and on earth at the same time, it is obvious that the image of GOD on earth, would not constitute GOD Himself, as that results in people worshipping an image rather than GOD. And moreso, that the attributes by which GOD is concluded were clearly not in Jesus Christ on earth, as it is obvious that Jesus who was made lower than the angels, and who emptied Himself, was not in any way equal-to or GOD Himself as a result. And finally and while it is true that Jesus associated Himself with His Father on earth, by saying, that if they had seen Him, they had seen the Father - it is also obvious that this would not constitute seeing the Father in any literal sense, as it is obvious that no man has ever seen GOD, and that the curse upon mankind is not with Jesus at all, but very specifically to His Father alone. And so, there are many, many aspects to such beliefs that Jesus is GOD Himself, that simply cannot be reconciled, and moreso, that such beliefs are simply too conflicting to be true.
@@crushtheserpent Jesus was fully man and fully divine. As human He had to eat, drink, sleep, bleed. His flesh was even tempted, but as God He never sinned. As God He healed, He raised people from the dead, He turned water to wine. Jesus had to pray for 2 reasons: 1) it was to be an example to mankind. Similar to His baptism. Jesus didn't technically need to be baptized. He was sinless, but He was showing believers that when we accept Him we should be baptized when we start our walk. And 2) He was fully human. The flesh always has to be submissive to the divine. I find it interesting that the Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity, but we never see Jesus praying to the Holy Spirit. In order for Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice He had to experience the human experience... Eating, drinking, sleeping, hunger, thirst, tiredness, temptation, prayer, pain, etc, but unlike humans He sinned not, which made Him the spotless lamb. The only way He could live 33 years without sinning is if He were God Himself. We also call God the Father, but it was the Holy Spirit that came upon Mary, so does Jesus have 2 dad's? 🤔 Scriptual evidence: Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." John 10:30 "I and the Father are one.” John 14:7-9 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?" John 5:19 "Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner." Acts 2:38 "Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.” Colossians 1:15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature." Colossians 2:9 "For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;" Revelation 4:2 "Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and ONE sat on the throne." I would think that if the Trinity were true then Jesus would NOT be the only name that would save, but God the Father's name would save as well. The only way that salvation being in Jesus' name alone makes any sense is if the Father and the Holy Spirit are within Jesus. Lastly, if the Trinity is true why is there only ONE throne in heaven? Where is God the Father?

We are a flesh and blood body; we have a soul that will exist for eternity; and we are a living being because of the "breath of life" ie. spirit. If that is true, then thinking about the creator of heaven and earth is just as simple... Jesus, who is the Son of God = the express image of the invisible God, He was flesh and bone, He shed his blood on the cross to pay for our sins -- Colossians 1:15 KJV - Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature God the Father = the soul within Jesus' body; He is I AM, that I AM-- 1 Timothy 6:16 KJV - Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen. Holy Spirit/Ghost = the spirit, the life giving breath, the Comforter, the one who bears witness to the Son -- Job 33:4 KJV - The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Genesis 2:7 KJV - And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. I pray these scriptures increase your faith 🙂🙏 Romans 10:17 KJV - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. [9] For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
The Father of course knows that humans would naturally want to venerate him and as such the Father even called him god. He is the herald of the true living Creator and his mission pointed to the real Father since he was the mediator between God and man. That is why he could be worshipped as the means back to our Creator. The Father does know human nature.
Asked Jesus "When I return will I find Faith" The answer is no , as unbelief creeps in resulting in loss of Faith, Hear O Israel the Lord thy God is one God, The Trinity is one God of the same essence, Man fell away from God so how can one go back to him directly ?
This video does not advocate for the idea that Christ (the Word or Logos) was both man and God manifest in the flesh (1Tim. 3:16). Therefore, at the baptism of Jesus does not show three persons at one time. It shows Jesus being baptized, the Father speaking from heaven (Because God is a Spirit (Jh. 4:24) ). The Holy Ghost as a dove descending was simply a sign for John the Baptist. (Jh. 1:33) The Father was in heaven but also in Christ at the same time (Jh. 14:10) Also according to Luke 1:35 the Holy Ghost fathered Jesus, so did Jesus have 2 Fathers? Of course not, the Holy Ghost is just another name for God, when he interacts with humanity. Eph.4:4 tells us that there is One God and Father of all and in us all, but the Holy Spirit was in the saints at Ephesus. (Acts 19:5 1Cor. 12:13) Isaiah 9:6 tells us that Jesus is the everlasting Father, how could this be? Because he was the Father according to the Spirit and the son according to the flesh.
Yip, its hard to explain to ultracrepidarian's they don't see the bible as a source they want other opinions who did not bare witness to Jesus, if they go to a bible scholar that a Christian to explain it to them then it be much simpler to understand but that not their objective they just want to put doubt into minds, with out faith works are dead... God is the creator so why cant He have a son!!! These people are mostly people who look at science or evidence as they want to be in control they have no faith they need to see with the natural eyes not in the spiritual whelm, we all know we are made of body soul and spirit, God, Jesus, the Holy Ghost are one in spirit not in 3 persons of coarse they have different bodies!! And to say it was not till the 4th century then they don't understand God all the Bible, the trinity can be seen from the start to end of the bible not in word but in context hence baptize was going on in the late 1st century.. Peace. Oh if only they did not burn those libraries and destroy history...
Why do we think we can wrap our finite minds around the infinite Creator. Peter, however fulfilled his role as the Rock upon whom God would build his church when he fulfilled Christ's command to baptize in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Peter baptized in the name of Jesus. Jesus is clearly the revealed name of the most high in Acts 2:38. He spoke to mankind so he is the living word of God to man. There is one God. Peter was given the keys to God's kingdom , and revealed the name of Father, Son , and Holy Spirit as the fulfillment of Christ's command found in Matt 28:19
Excellent, well informed and articulated video, but lots of spelling errors that could have been caught by proofreading...for example "true" was spelled "ture".
Your presentation on "Modalism" is 100% wrong. If Harnack was the first to use this term, what research or historical evidence did he use, since very little to none of Sabellius'writings exist?
I've read much and watched many videos on the Trinity. It's always baffled me how so many can believe such utter BS. Come on - the foundation of the Trinity is that 1+1+1=1. Watching this video it struck me - the key to understanding how the concept came about is to realise that certain people made the mistake of thinking that 'the word' was a person. Following that they had to justify their mistake. The nature of people involved with theology is that they have an overpowering love for verbiage, speculation and have no knowledge of how to obtain hard evidence and use sound logic on that evidence. If human development depended on them we would all be living in crude huts and be sitting on the ground in loincloths digging for grubs with a stick. They were nothing like Eratosthenes who lived about 250BC, about 400 - 500 years before these monkeys. Watch this: th-cam.com/video/O6KOSvYHAmA/w-d-xo.html The logos idea originated with Heraclitus (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heraclitus) who lived about 500BC. It was intended to explain the gods and certain principles succinctly and clearly - the essence or blueprint of the god or principle. It was not intended to be a separate person. The logos idea survived and underwent minor changes. At about the time of Christ, Philo of Alexandria wrote much about the logos. He was a Jewish mystic and dabbled in Greek philosophy. Some say he was the first to make the logos a person. He was not a Christian. John obviously picked up on the idea of the logos but if one takes John to have understood the logos to be the essence of what God is about and Jesus the fulfilment of that essence John makes perfect sense. John 1:1 (incorrectly translated today) refers back to Genesis 1. God's word is what God used to create. Jesus was the embodiment of God's word. When Jesus was born God's word (what God is all about) idiomatically became flesh. Look at it that way and everything said about Jesus in the New Testament makes sense. Once they made God's word a person it was but a short step to making God's power - the HS - a person as well. Now they had made these two mistakes which obviously had ridiculous implications (e.g. 1+1+1=1) and they had to explain it away. Verbiage and BS to the rescue. Arts and humanities monkeys, this includes theology, are very good at these two. Just listen to most politicians.
While it is true that the trinity is a false doctrine, I would add that the title of the word of God is not limited to God's literal commandment, but also in defining Jesus' function as God's messenger - hens why Jesus is identified as the word in Revelation 19
I have a degree in Biblical studies. Throughout the entire process they literally teach us how the entire religion is man-made. This council and that council. This theologian and that theologian. Every single turn is how one man or another developed the ideas within the religion. And here's the kicker. They never described how God gave the message to any of them. A lot like in this video. Did God ever talk to any of them and tell them what to write? Or is it just more human beings developing a set of ideas?
@@brotherga977 There is so much to say about this. Some things are clear: the Bible stands head and shoulders above other religious books. It starts at the right place--the origin of everything. A god worth having is one who created everything. But humans wrote the Bible, and God didn't dictate to them what to write. So, if one reads carefully, one will find many inconsistencies, e.g. in Genesis 46 Benjamin had 10 sons. In two chapters of Chronicles, one following the other, he has three and five sons. God would not make even small detail mistakes. Would the creator of the Universe survive a collection of books about him not 100% accurate? I'm sure he would. Claiming complete inerrancy even in minute detail for the Bible plays into the hands of those hostile to religion. It's easy to show differences between the same matter relayed more than once in the Bible. Often they're just the differences commonly found between different witnesses reporting the same event. Another problem is making invalid deductions from the many unclear passages in the Bible, like seeing symbolism in everything. Despite all this, there are gems in the Bible. One just has to look for them. Isaiah 45:18 says, For this is what the LORD says- he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited… That's the anthropic principle. Strange that it was spelled out so long ago.
The three characters at Jesus' Baptism were not conversing with each other. Read it again. Only the voice of God the Father was heard from Heaven. The Holy Spirit was seen to have descended in bodily form to denote how the Spirit rested upon the MAN Jesus Christ, but never said a word. So, at the Baptism, we have the Flesh and Blood MAN, Jesus Christ. We have the Holy Spirit that appeared in some way to prove the Spirit of God anointed the MAN Jesus Christ. And then, from an INVISIBLE source, we hear the VOICE of God declaring, at the BAPTISM, that this MAN, is indeed the Only BEGOTTEN Son of God, in whom He is well pleased. The same thing or similar occurance happened at the Mt. of Transfiguration. After the MAN transfigured, a CLOUD overshadowed them, and a voice from an INVISIBLE GOD (but coming from the Cloud) told the disciples, "This is my Son. Listen to Him." In both instances, there was only EVER ONE Voice. The Voice only addressed the PEOPLE who were present, but never "conversed" with "eachother." And both instances, there was only ever one visual manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and One Flesh Body, the IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, whom we know is both LORD AND CHRIST. The Only time in Scripture we read about Jesus Christ praying to the father, is when He is walking in the FLESH. In the Old Testament, before the INCARNATION, the Christophanies (or bodily forms of the Christ, such as The Angel in the Burning Bush, and The Angel who visited Abraham to declare that Sarah will have a child, etc.) always spoke as the One and Only, I AM, (as God Himself). Jesus Christ in the FLESH, as the MAN the Son of God, let the Jews of those days, and all the world know, through His Written Word, that He is that same, I AM! (John 8:58).
, actually, he did not say I am the Messiah he said,I Am He. And the shoes took up stones ready to stone him, because they knew he was claiming to be God. You have to repeat it for adding words to God’s Word. Listen to the simplicity of Christ here’s a simple explanation of the one God ; You have The Father , which is a spirit and holy which makes Him Holy Spirit. Then you have the son of God, which “Son” means, man, flesh or body. You had the wood inside of the suit of God, the man, Christ, Jesus, reconciling the world to himself. it wasn’t God walking around on earth it’s inside of the one only begotten son. Just like John chapter 1 it said , He was in the world and the world was created by Him. Jesus Christ ( the man) did not create the world, because he come into existence when he was born through Mary ( 1 Peter 1:18-19). You go back to Genesis and the worlds were created by ; “The Word of God “ , when God said, let there be…. That same Word became FLESH later on in the future , not a second God. That’s how the word can say. Jesus made the world in the world were made by him and through him. It’s like this , the prophet Jeremiah gave Israel a bill of divorcement from God, but the bill of divorcement could not sever the marriage union to be married to another but it took death to sever the union to be married to another. So what is God going to do because God cannot die and He was not going to kill off all of Israel.. so God created a body for himself, and He got in that body and that body took on The Father’s Name and when you read the words of Jesus Christ, you have to be able to distinguish when it’s the father inside of him speaking or when it’s the flesh speaking. for example; Jesus would say I’m hungry or sleepy. That was not the father. That was the man , the flesh speaking. Jesus said ; thou sins are forgiven or I Am He, that was the father, or the one spirit in that body that was to later on die , so God could be married to another . meaning ; the remnant of Israel and the gentile grafted in ( Romans chapter 9). From now on when you read your Bible, always keep in mind one God not a Trinity and know when it’s talking about the flesh or the man Christ Jesus or when it’s talking about the father in him. Even at the river, when John the Baptist baptized Jesus Christ, the father was in heaven, and on the inside of Jesus Christ, and flying upon the shoulders of Jesus Christ all at the same time, how could that be because God is everywhere. For you to make all three of those gods, then you teach it they are three separate Gods. But when you teach that is one, God manifesting himself in three different forms than that is correct. Jesus said the Works that I do I am not doing them, but my Father which dwelleth “ IN ME “ HE doeth the Works. Watch Pastor Gino Jennings. Trust me , you will want to hear him.
In a conversation with a Samaritan woman who spoke of the coming of the Messiah, Jesus responded; _'I who speak to you am He'_ - John 4.25-26 When Jesus asked His disciples who people say He is, Simon Peter answered; _'you are the Messiah, the Son of the living GOD',_ after which, Jesus blessed him for this recognition - Matthew 16.13-20 During His trial before the priests, Jesus was asked if He was the Messiah and son of the Blessed One, to which He replied; _'I am',_ affirming His identity as the Messiah - Mark 14.61-62 In the synagogue(Nazareth), Jesus read a passage from Isaiah on the anointed one(a term associated with the Messiah), and then stated; _'today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing',_ therefore implying that He was the fulfillment of the messianic prophecy - Luke 4.16-21 Therefore and as it is written, Jesus was in-fact the prophesied and Son of GOD sent to save us. And while this would not mean Jesus was either equal-to or GOD Himself, we have every reason to put faith-in GOD's word in scripture and the testimony; _'whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God'_ - 1 John 4.15
Like son, like father. Virginity as "very (pure) beginning (new creation: new meaning new). Holy Spirit as true "beginner". Well, like daughter, like mother (hence the need of immaculate conception. Now, historically there was this encounter of Greek and Jewish thought, and Christianity has been engaged in this encounter (that's the simplified account). Also, conception ( the Father begetting the Son) is by the Holy Spirit. Trinity goes with transcendence and explanation emerges from unexplainable Mistery (that's what I think), so that's why I also think common sense is a good thing, and any far departure from common sense need be reformed.
"If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I" (John 14:28).
Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let US MAKE man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. After God blew his breath in Adams Nostrils. When Adam looked he saw his Creator God. But when God looked at Adam He saw the Image of His Son. How else can God say: Let US (Plural) make man in OUR OWN IMAGE. Our Lord God the Father and Jesus the Son were there already.
Why didn't they create man in their own image in verse 27. The Us in 26 is not some second person of a trinity. That second person didn't show up in verse 27.
@@brianthomas6316 Of course it is not in vs. 27 God did not create men as Trinity. Our image would mean that men was created Trinity. it says Created as ONE OF US The plurality of God is seen in Genesis 3:22. After Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden we find a fascinating conversation: "The LORD God said, 'Behold, the man has become like one of US, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever'" Genesis 3:22 "Man has become like one of US." To whom is the LORD talking? Again in Genesis 11:7, "Come, let US go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech." Genesis 11:7 The fact that the LORD (Yahweh) refers to Himself in these passages as "Us," is indeed a fascinating hint to the plurality of God The "Creators" of the Universe. The plurality of the Creator seen in Genesis 1:1 has been dismissed by some as simply a DESCRIPTION OF GOD'S PLURAL MAJESTY. However the problem here, the plurality of the Creator is also seen in a number of very provocative verses. In Ecclesiates 12:1 we read: "Remember also thy CREATORS in the days of thy youth, While that the evil days come not, Nor the years have arrived, that thou sayest, “I have no pleasure in them.” The word CREATORS is a plural form of the word "bara," which means to create out of nothing. Abraham knew the three men in Genesis 18 was one God in 3 persons. It is one of the many proof text of The Trinity. God appearing in human form, hence the three men. But under the oak at Mamre he saw three men, whom he invited, and hospitably received, and ministered to them as they feasted. Yet Scripture at the beginning of that narrative does not say, three men appeared to him, but, "The Lord appeared to him." And then, setting forth in due order after what manner the Lord appeared to him, it has added the account of the three men, whom Abraham invites to his hospitality in the plural number, and afterwards speaks to them in the singular number as one; and as one He promises him a son by Sara, viz. the one whom the Scripture calls Lord, as in the beginning of the same narrative, "The Lord," it says, "appeared to Abraham." He invites them then, and washes their feet, and leads them forth at their departure, as though they were men; but he speaks as with the Lord God, whether when a son is promised to him, or when the destruction is shown to him that was impending over Sodom.
@@MariusVanWoerdenVerse 26 states that God said let Us create man in our image and you are claiming that “us” is a reference to the Trinity. Then you state that the Trinity did not create man. But verse 26. according to your interpretation, is the Trinity deciding to create man. No where is God refereeing to himself as a plurality of persons. Ephesians 1 teaches that God works all things after the counsel of his own will. Ephesians 1 does not teach that God works all things after the counsel of the persons of the Trinity. There is no proof text for the Trinity in scripture. Genesis 18 is not Abraham referring to one God in 3 persons. That concept was developed hundreds of years after the last Apostle died. There are several times in Genesis 18 where the Lord is referred to as He and even says I in reference to himself. If the President of the United States comes to visit you, you don’t list off all the people who came with him, but you will say that the President came to visit you. I can assure you that if the President of the United States visits you; he will not be by himself.
@@brianthomas6316 In Genesis 1 we find the story of Creation God Creating is the Father. It is One God in three persons. Jesus is not the Father or the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not the Son. The Father is not the Holy Spirit. They are 3 Persons But One God we do not say Gods. So we find in Genesis that the story is told of Creation. In 26 it tells us what God said amongst themselves. In 27 the story teller speaks about one God. That does not deny the Trinity because it speaks about the Creator. We can pray to God the Father as one person in the Trinity. All this is by faith that we know it. This cannot be understood and believed without faith and personal experience. So without the conviction and teaching of Holy Spirit you will NEVER come to the understanding of these things.
The (trinity) is not only a perverse corrupt idle vain word of confusion not found in the book of the LORD, it is a doctrine of devils and a damnable heresy! Those who believe in the damnable heresy they call (Trinity) find it hard to understand and almost impossible to preach using words found only in the holy scripture. And yet the preaching of Jesus as the only wise God and Saviour, the blessed and only Potentate, the everlasting Father, the Almighty can be understood by a child. 2 Timothy 3:15-17 [15] And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. The Quran addresses your concerns. Muslims have for 1400 years belived in Jesus as the messenger of god, and the Quran makes multiple detailed and direct statements against the trinity, i will share with you one example.
@@Coohywhy do you exalt muhammad, a murderer and p*dophile, above Jesus, a man who did no sin? The trinity is a lie yes, but why not believe God's Chosen, spoken of by the prophets for thousands of years? There were no prophecies for Muhammad, his claims are all entirely unsubstantiated
The presentation of this video leads one to believe that the early church did not know what to believe about Jesus and God. Thus, enter in Sabellianism, Arianism, and Trinitarianism. This is wrong to teach that Jesus Christ did not leave the church an everlasting and complete gospel. The presenter is clearly playing on the ignorance of the viewers of this video.
You need to be able to differentiate between religion and theology. Everyday believers tend to just pray and practice the faith. Theology is about the deep thinkers and those involved with establishing the doctrine that undergirds the actual institution itself. I don’t think the presenter is trying to insult anybody. Education is a multi-faceted process; if you want to learn, you will. If you are afraid that new ideas will threaten long-held beliefs, or ways of looking at things, then stay away from it. All learning should be used by you to make you better able to grasp ideas, including religious ones, that help strengthen your faith. I can’t see how the development of the idea of the trinity in the Christian Church could threaten your faith or your relationship with God.
@@karenwickhorst8226 Are you using religion or theology to say "I can't see how the development of the idea of the trinity could threaten your faith in God?"
"God is our defender and the Holy One of Israel is our King" Our King tells us who He is in Proverbs 8... He isn't God, but the appointed King of the Sons of God (Lord of Hosts). Everything our King has was given to Him, by the Father. Our writings were taken over and corrupted by pagans.
Most Christians believe the doctrine of the Trinity to be biblical, and they cite Matthew 28:18-20 or 1 John 5:7. But is the following the original quote of Christ? “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” These verses are the modern-day rendition identifying an interpolation, so the question must be asked, “Did Christ speak every word found in these verses?” The first Church Historian Eusebius (quotes Matthew 28:19 as it appeared in the early 4th century, Christ said, “Go and make disciples of all nations in My name” (Matthew 28:19, as it was originally quoted, Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, Penguin Classics, 1965). Note, He never said, “...baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.” Which commandment did the disciples hear? It appears the latter quoted by Eusebius from an original manuscript of the NT, for there is no instance of the disciples ever baptizing anyone “In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost,” according to the New Testament! On baptisms specifically were done in the name of {YAHSHUA}, Martin Luther notes, “The apostles certainly used this formula in baptizing in the name of Christ only, as we read in the Acts of the Apostles,’ citing Acts 2:38; 10:48; and 19:5” (Erik H. Herrmann, Paul W. Robinson, The Annotated Luther, Volume 3: Church and Sacraments. Fortress Press. p. 66, 2016). In a documented sermon, Martin Luther made this astonishing statement, “It is indeed true that the name ‘Trinity’ is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man” (The Sermons of Martin Luther, Vol. 3, 1988, p. 406). The disciples of Christ in the first two or more centuries did not know of any doctrine of the Trinity. Historically, “There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus ever heard of the trinity-at any rate from him” (H. G. Wells, The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499, 1920). Therefore, without a doubt, The so-called Great Commission, as written is an interpolation: "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19, the words “...in the name of the Father and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost” were added centuries later). The disciples were to make disciples in His name, and they were baptized in the name of Christ only as the NT gives evidence. The formula is mentioned in the Didache (7:1-3), and it is mostly accepted as authentic due to its supporting manuscript evidence (Everett Ferguson, Baptism in the Early Church, 2013, pp. 134-5). Nevertheless, some scholars have held the view that the passage in the Didache is an interpolation as it is absent from the first few centuries of early Christian quotations, in which case it is believed it would be part of an apostolic or early Christian oral tradition from which both the received texts of Matthew and the Didache emerged, however, the conclusion is the church only baptized in the name of Christ. The view of the passage as an interpolation was in recent times maintained, and this particular line of opposing arguments by Trinitarians is pure eisegesis, meaning the process of interpreting a text in such a way as to introduce one's presuppositions, agendas, or biases, that artificially supports the Trinitarian formula, and based on interpolated verses added to the New Testament. Catholics and Protestants would agree with Protestant Theologian James White, who writes, “We hang a person’s very salvation upon the acceptance of the doctrine…We must know, understand, and love the Trinity to be fully completely Christian” (The Forgotten Trinity, pp. 14-15). And yet most other scholars know that the Trinity is beyond human understanding, “The mind of man cannot fully understand the mystery of the Trinity. He who has tried to understand the mystery fully will lose his mind, but he who would deny the Trinity will lose his soul” (Harold Lindsell and Charles Woodbridge, A Christian Handbook, pp. 51-52, 1953). Nowhere in the New Testament is believing in the Trinity a prerequisite for one’s salvation. Nowhere in the Bible did the LORD ever reveal Himself as a Trinity, or Triune God. Interpolations exist in the New Testament, which are words added later to prove the Trinity. Matthew 28:19 and 1 John 5:7 are proven interpolations, and therefore not of the original Scriptures. 1 John 5:7 is known as “The Johannine comma,” due to a sequence of extra words in 1 John 5:7-8 which appear in later versions of the Bible, but not in earlier Scriptures. Compare these words below in italics in the KJV and the same verse from the newer ESV. "For there are three that bear record (witness) in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one" (1 John 5:7-8 KJV). "For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree" (1 John 5:7-8, ESV). These extra words are generally absent from the early Greek manuscripts. They only appear in the text in late medieval manuscripts, which were done by Trinitarians to bolster the man-made doctrine of the Trinity. The Trinitarian doctrine only existed since the 4th century! A religion unexamined is not worth having. Besides, most Christians when questioned about the Trinity prove to be Modalists, not Trinitarians (The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). Christians have given examples of the Trinity, and one is the steam, water, and ice, which is not a good example for it only proves modalism. The Trinity is not so much a mystery as it is the doctrine of confusion, and we know that God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33).
There is no evidence that Sabellius taught a sequential modalism. That when he is Father he cannot be the Son.This a lie promoted by misinformed. Sabellius used the analogy of the Sun with its rays. That is not sequential modalism.
Man and woman are Gods image.. Just as He pulled woman from man's side ABBA pulled the spirit life of men out of His own bosom and made it flesh.. Of the abundance of the heart words come.. the son is God's abundant heart for unity with His creation. The new spirit promised in Ezekiel.. God was in the man but the man had his own soul which was obedient to the Father within Him.. this human life anointed and glorified with the very person of the Father is the Holy Spirit we'r given.. this is why He couldn't be given till the son was glorified.. and this is why when you have the son you have the Father and to deny the one is to not have the other.. our fellowship is with the one God who is the Father and with His human son who is our life before God his Father by which we cry ABBA Father. It was his human soul that was the sacrifice Isaiah 53 this was to destroy our fallen soul by hanging it on the tree and giving us his human soul that is anointed and glorified with the Fathers Spirit.. the one became two so that the two would become one.. this is the image creation testifies to..
325 AD Constitine Made Dec 26 Mithras Bday into Jesus Bday . Mithra also was Born of Virgin Son of God Resurrection after death. How is Paul's epistles written before the Gospels. It's probably no coincidence that Jesus sayings is completely different than Paul's Gospel.
Clarity cloaked in mystery. Really? "The quality of being coherant and intelligable" vs "Something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain". These are mutually exclusive properties. The statement itself is incoherant.
Possibly, though you should also know that the TH-cam anti-spam algorithm can be very invasive, in-that it will shadow-ban, or hide your comments, should you be flagged for spamming. Having said that, it should also be said that the so-called flagging, is often false, in-that it can be triggered by the most absurd things such as; a keyword, foreign characters or language words, editing your comment too soon, or too often(more than once within x/mins), posting too often and in too short a succession, and whoever knows what other reasons that can come-up with. In addition to this, you should also know that this system works on a bias, in-that once you are flagged as a spammer, that every post you make following that point, will fall under the spam control measures, and toward a cool-down period. - hope this helps
The trinity is just a CONVENTIONAL doctrine. It is not understood why the trinity doctrine must be insisted upon since it is immediately EVIDENT to any unbiased reader of the gospels that it's a bogus theory, fully invented. If Jesus were part of a TRIUNE GOD - as claimed by the doctrine - this would surely be CONFIRMED by Him! He would accordingly state to be both with 1. FATHER and 2. HOLY SPIRIT! But Jesus tells a definitely DIFFERENT STORY. He has NO IDEA what a "triune God" is supposed to be, being with Father + Holy Spirit is FALSE, INVENTED, NOWHERE in the gospels. Jesus is ONLY WITH THE FATHER, as reiterated dozens of times by Him in all possible different ways. For ex. "...will be scattered and on your own. You will leave me ALONE. Yet, I am NOT ALONE because THE FATHER is with me.". I.e. just Father and Son, no third person exists. Who is the Holy Spirit? From Jesus' words you can further see that the FATHER WITH HIM IS A SPIRIT: "God [the Father] is a spirit" (Jn. 4:23,24). Hence, you now know that ONLY the Father is with Jesus and that He is a spirit! From Mt. 12:32 you can further learn that Spirit (the Father) is called "Holy Spirit" by Jesus: "Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come." I.e. the Holy Spirit is the Father who is a spirit, with Jesus and selected people. Using a different terminology, "the Spirit of God" (Holy Spirit) simply is "God who is a spirit", they are not TWO distinct spirits. The Father who is a spirit (the Holy Spirit) comes from the Father who is NOT a Spirit (normal) and is AWAY. For this reason nobody ever saw Him, only Jesus did it. The "Spirit of God" is just a "virtual presence" of the Father, in reality NOBODY is here.
See the problem with trying to explain the history of the Trinity you will ignore Scripture to prove the doctrine? That said if you do bring up Scriptutre verses you will eisegesis them to fit your argument. Think abouit this how can a Eternal Spirit being become it's Own Creation? Think about this foolish statement if only God can die and shed blood for the forgiveness of Sin and be raised from the dead therefore only a God/Man can Saved. Think about this how can one person of the Trinity become Human and still be Spirit and the other persons of the Trinity stay the same doesn't the doctrine of the Trinity say they are all Co-equal?
So the Jews are awaiting the Messiah, who are they waiting for? Gods son? They did not accept that God had a son when Jesus came? So we’re they expecting God the Father coming as Messiah? 🤔
The jews are expecting a political leader, not a religous reformer, which is why they rejected Jesus, they are awaiting a person from the lineage of David who will bring glory and power to the people of Israel once again, like Solomon, i am not a jew but this is my understanding as a muslim.
They try to make modalism sound all freaky but trinity is more because historically it’s known that trinity tried to erase the ONE baptism in Ephesians 4:5. Only after Stevenson came out on this big tiff against anyone receiving the Holy Ghost and Obeying Acts 2:38. They have to come up with something to help deceive and help prop up their fake salvation messages.
I am Oneness, which I hear is very similar to modalism. Because of the lies of the Trinity so many people are not only rejecting the Trinity, but they are rejecting the diety of Jesus too, and it breaks my heart. 😢
@@saltandlight316 oneness and modalism are the same. There are different kinds. Classic Modalistic Monarchianism is believed by 50% to 60% of modern Oneness folks and Marcellian Modalism which is held by about 40% to 50% of us.
This is my take: I am my mind, my body and my spirit. One cannot exist without the other, each is separate, but all are me. There's God, Jesus who was the word in flesh and the Holy Spirit. All are one, but all are different. They all existed since the beginning. God is omnipresent.
That's partialism. Standard Christianity will call you a heretic for that. Granted, the trinity is absolute nonsense found nowhere in Tanakh, so they're full of it.
But you are not your mind, body, or spirit singularly. All 3 make up the single component of you. By your own logic, neither the father, the son, nor the holy spirit are fully God

While praying in the middle of the morning in that certain day, suddenly I was caught up in a trance, and being in the spirit, I saw myself in Heaven kneeling before God. A typical picture of a man praying while kneeling on his knees with his hands on his breast and bowing down his head. Above in front of me were God the Father and the Lord Jesus who was on His right hand side. There was One at the left of the Father, but I cannot tell you at this momemt. Let it be for an appointed time. All three of them were sitting on their pure white Thrones side by side. They were pure white all together and have shining pure white diamond crowns on their heads. They were in their "shekinah glory" of excellent and majestic purity. Their faces were as the sun shining on its might at noontime of a perfect day, that what I could see only on their faces were a line of their chins. But, it was so obvious that as they looked at me, they were smiling in a great delight. They were in dazzling pure white clothing from neck down to their feet. Then I saw just below them and in between us, the Holy Spirit in the shape of a dove formed out of a shining pure white light spreading its wings just above me. Rays of white light emanates from Him towards me and all around Him. I am also in pure white all the way from head to feet and in pure white clothing. The whole scenario was in pure white that shines. There was a pure white angel who was steadily flying horizontally, rejoicing and blowing a trumpet on the middle right side. 📜 Then God the Father, the One on the left of the Father, and the Lord Jesus raised their right hands one by one towards me and said something, which I cannot tell you at this time. 📜 The place, the Heaven, was so glorious, white and full of peace and harmony. I could feel happiness and joy everywhere. I did not see a tint or spot of any color in the whole scenario of shining pure white. 🕊 I hope this testimony may give light of understanding concerning our God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit being God as "One", but of "separate" persons. 📖 You may refer to the following scriptures that support this revelation and testimony, though there are a lot more in the Bible ( or I may say the scriptures which are confirmed by this vision revelation ): 💎 The Lord Jesus Christ "Sitting" on the "Right Hand" of God His Father 📖 Colossians 3:1 | Hebrews 1:1-4, 13 | Hebrews 10:10-12 | Hebrews 12:2 | Matthew 26:63-64 | Ephesians 1:20 | Hebrews 8:1 💎 The LORD God as the "Father" of the Lord Jesus Christ 📖 Ephesians 1:3, 17 | Ephesians 3:14 | Hebrews 1:5, 8 | Hebrews 5:5, 8 | Colossians 1:3 💎 The Lord Jesus Christ "Calling" the "LORD God" His "Father" 📖 Matthew 11:25-27 | Matthew 16:16-17, 27 | Matthew 18:19, 35 | Matthew 24:36 | Matthew 26:29, 39, 42 💎 The LORD God "Calling" the Lord Jesus Christ "His Son" 📖 Matthew 17:5 | Hebrews 1:5 💎 The Lord Jesus Christ as the "Son of God" 📖 Matthew 26:63-64 | Matthew 27:54 | Colossians 1:12-19 | Hebrews 1:8 | Hebrews 4:14 | Hebrews 5:5, 8 💎 God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ Being "Two Distinct Persons" 📖 Ephesians 6:23 | Philippians 1:2 | Philippians 2:11 | Colossians 1:2 | 1 Thessalonians 1:1-3 | 1 Thessalonians 3:11 | 2 Thessalonians 1:1-2 | 2 Thessalonians 2:16 | 1 Timothy 1:1-2 | 1 Timothy 5:21 | 1 Timothy 6:13 | 2 Timothy 1:2 | 2 Timothy 4:1 | Titus 1:4 | Titus 2:13 | Philemon 1:3 💎 The Holy Spirit or the Spirit of God being a "Separate Person of God" 📖 Matthew 3:16-17 | Mark 1:10-12 | John 1:32 | Luke 1:35 | John 14:16-17, 26 | John 15:26 | Acts 2:4 | 1 John 5:7 | Genesis 1:2 ☝To God be the Glory and Honor alone. The answer is to realize that Jesus was that word made flesh word of God wich is God therefore Jesus is God manifested in the flesh there us one God Jesus the fathers name is Jesus the sons name is Jesus the Holy Ghost's name is Jesus then Peter said repent and be yes baptized in the name of Jesus Christ fir the remission of sins and receive yes the Holy Ghost Jesus said unto them I'll send the comforter unto you then he said I'll come unto you. The word of GOD is a personification used to identify GOD's spoken will and commandment. And is expressed as both a person, as well as a none-living literal word. That said, the word manifest, literally means revealed - therefore concluding that GOD was revealed in the flesh by means of Jesus Christ - which is not only well written, but very, very obvious throughout the NT texts.

I tend to agree with Arius. There's much more evidence in scripture for subordinationism than for the trinity.

1 Timothy 3:16
The trinity was made to solve the problem of Jesus being worshipped as God? The better solution is to just worship the same one God Jesus worshipped, his Father in heaven. This worked for his disciples. They worshiped The Father and revered His son who had His name.
He has a point.
He was read the scriptures..
Indeed. I loved this comment!

St. John 1:2 He was with God in the beginning.
St. John 1:3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

St. John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting FATHER, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. (Immanuel means "GOD with us").
This video completely has Arius wrong. He did not believe Jesus was created. He believed what the disciples believed. Arius was murdered.
"Subordinationism" was taught by Jesus, when Jesus said "the Father is greater than me". John 14:28
I am going to start out by saying that I am not a Trinitarian. I reject the Trinity. However, I still believe in the diety of Christ, and so I felt that it was important to comment
To understand verses like this we have to understand Jesus' humanity.

Being a teacher of Ancient Greek, let me clarify the Logos confusion, an explanation which also harmonizes with PreNicene Christians (< 325 AD).
λέγω Lego = I speak, I say (verb)
λόγος logos = spoken word of LOGIC and reason; a logos is spoken from a speaker
In the beginning, God spoke (Lego λεγω) and the Logos (λογος) went forth from God creating all things.

We have received some responses from our short survey.
The question was, “Is the One God who is a unity of three persons also a person himself? That is, will we see the one in three god in heaven when we get there? Does this triune god have the throne of his own besides that of the Father and of the Son?”
The responses are very conflicting and confusing.

Good study. Checked your website. Human tries to be cleverer than is possible.
"For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
Jeremiah 31:35 This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar - the LORD Almighty is his name:
This chapter tells us that God almighty has promised a new covenant for Israel and Judah.

Consider what Jesus' followers said about who God was:
1. JOHN quoted Jesus at John 17:3, where he prayed to his Father, calling him the "only true God."
2. PAUL said: "But we know that there is only one God, the Father, who created everything, and we live for him." (1 Cor. 8:6)
3. PETER said: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!" (1 Pet. 1:3)
The NT Bible writers confirmed what Jesus said at John 20:17, where he said: "I am ascending to my Father and my God."
So, clearly, Jesus' Father is also Jesus' God. There is no trinity!
cbooth151 lol...
Even the famous John 1.1 passage is against the trinity, as we find that "the God" is distinguished from the word that "was God" - two different titles, used to identify two different roles

Thats what I was thinking, what dilemma 😂

Amen and amen! I agree.
the word trinity is not in the holy words proverbs 30:5,6 all who accept the trinity will and have denied the God of Jesus
The trinity was brought-in from pagan beliefs, as a result of incorporating other religions into Christianity

In Al-Ma'idah aya 116 we read this: And as Allah said, "O Isa son of Maryam, did you say to mankind, "Take me and my mother to your selves as two gods, apart from Allah '?"

No such thing as a trinity. God is one , always been one never will need more to redeem. He redeemed us by Jesus Christ (his person) and shed blood for us (by his person) God is God . And God is ONE. He redeemed us not a 2nd god or 3rd ONE

The second thing to note, is that this has yet to take place, as the rulers of this earth have not been abolished.

THE ONENESS/TRINITARIAN DOCTRINE EXPLAINED AT LAST :
YHWH, the Most High God, planned and
prophesied for Himself to send Himself to Earth as his own Son: agreeing with Himself, He volunteered Himself to His self to offer Himself in obedience to His self.
The worst part is - a great many people today will read that, and conclude nothing wrong whatsoever with it.

Who cares.scripture is sufficient without all the blowhard know-it-alls who think their pitiful human reasoning defines the most high.
That said, and should this be a valid criticism, then it would also be written in scripture as such, and in-contrast with interpretive reasoning - ie;
_'for unless you believe in the deity of Christ, you will die in your sins'_ - as an example
However, and as it turns out, there are no such written commandments or decrees found anywhere in scripture.
So you are a modalist, yes?
But how does this explain the relationship with the Father, Jesus has, in which he spoke of all the time?
Scriptual evidence:
Isaiah 9:6
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
John 10:30
"I and the Father are one.”
John 14:7-9
"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?"
John 5:19
"Then Jesus answered and said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner."
Acts 2:38
"Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Acts 4:12
"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved.”
Colossians 1:15
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature."
Colossians 2:9
"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;"
Revelation 4:2
"Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and ONE sat on the throne."
I would think that if the Trinity were true then Jesus would NOT be the only name that would save, but God the Father's name would save as well. The only way that salvation being in Jesus' name alone makes any sense is if the Father and the Holy Spirit are within Jesus. Lastly, if the Trinity is true why is there only ONE throne in heaven? Where is God the Father?
@smalltimer4370 Why do you misquote Scripture just like the devil? It does not say "diety," as you pretend to quote. It says:
"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins.”" John 8:24 American Standard Version (ASV)
Nowhere does it ever say that Jesus is a deity! Unless you want to read Scriptures with eisegesis in mind. Do you torture the Scriptures? Your reply to me may show whether you do or don't. What do you say about your claim on John 8:24? Is Jesus a deity or a human? I say he is human, but John 8:24 does not prove he is a deity.

If mankind was created in the likeness of God, then what is the simplist way to think of humans? We are a flesh and blood body; we have a soul that will exist for eternity; and we are a living being because of the "breath of life" ie. spirit.
If that is true, then thinking about the creator of heaven and earth is just as simple...
Jesus, who is the Son of God = the express image of the invisible God, He was flesh and bone, He shed his blood on the cross to pay for our sins --
Colossians 1:15 KJV - Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature
God the Father = the soul within Jesus' body; He is I AM, that I AM-- 1 Timothy 6:16 KJV - Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Holy Spirit/Ghost = the spirit, the life giving breath, the Comforter, the one who bears witness to the Son --
Job 33:4 KJV - The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

Take out the music Please no noise in the back ground
Your presentation on "Modalism" is 100% wrong. If Harnack was the first to use this term, what research or historical evidence did he use, since very little to none of Sabellius'writings exist?
You have a typo in "true God of true God. . ."
The Israelites were not originally a monotheistic religion, but rather a monolatry. Their God was the God of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17).
Watch this: th-cam.com/video/O6KOSvYHAmA/w-d-xo.html
The logos idea originated with Heraclitus (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heraclitus) who lived about 500BC.
Trinities were common before and during christianities formation ...It's clear that it adopted the pagan doctrines

Amen! Isaiah 43
The voice is too quiet, and the music competes with the voice. I cannot understand it.
, actually, he did not say I am the Messiah he said,I Am He. And the shoes took up stones ready to stone him, because they knew he was claiming to be God. You have to repeat it for adding words to God’s Word.
Listen to the simplicity of Christ here’s a simple explanation of the one God ;
You have The Father , which is a spirit and holy which makes Him Holy Spirit.
In a conversation with a Samaritan woman who spoke of the coming of the Messiah, Jesus responded; _'I who speak to you am He'_ - John 4.25-26
When Jesus asked His disciples who people say He is, Simon Peter answered; _'you are the Messiah, the Son of the living GOD',_ after which, Jesus blessed him for this recognition - Matthew 16.13-20
During His trial before the priests, Jesus was asked if He was the Messiah and son of the Blessed One, to which He replied; _'I am',_ affirming His identity as the Messiah - Mark 14.61-62
In the synagogue(Nazareth), Jesus read a passage from Isaiah on the anointed one(a term associated with the Messiah), and then stated; _'today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing',_ therefore implying that He was the fulfillment of the messianic prophecy - Luke 4.16-21
Therefore and as it is written, Jesus was in-fact the prophesied and Son of GOD sent to save us.
And while this would not mean Jesus was either equal-to or GOD Himself, we have every reason to put faith-in GOD's word in scripture and the testimony;
_'whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God'_ - 1 John 4.15
In Ecclesiates 12:1 we read: "Remember also thy CREATORS in the days of thy youth, While that the evil days come not, Nor the years have arrived, that thou sayest, “I have no pleasure in them.”
The word CREATORS is a plural form of the word "bara," which means to create out of nothing.

The Quran addresses your concerns. Muslims have for 1400 years belived in Jesus as the messenger of god, and the Quran makes multiple detailed and direct statements against the trinity, i will share with you one example.

Just as He pulled woman from man's side
ABBA pulled the spirit life of men out of His own bosom and made it flesh..
Just i thought, another person who has Arius wrong. Arius did not teach that Jesus was created.
That one is not bad. There are so many crap on youtube on nicaea and trinity so that it is good too soo something well balanced.
@@S.R.M. The opposite actually, one must reject this falsehood to be saved

There's no sense in even coming on here.

From Mt. 12:32 you can further learn that Spirit (the Father) is called "Holy Spirit" by Jesus:
"Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come."
I.e. the Holy Spirit is the Father who is a spirit, with Jesus and selected people.
As a Modalist teacher i could show many mistakes in this video
Where are these notions of Trinity, common nature, salvation thanks to thé cross ? No indication in the scriptures. Invention of the church fathers ?
This is my take:
I am my mind, my body and my spirit.

🌅Let me share a testimony of the vision of God I saw that reveals a Light on the Wisdom of God in a mystery concerning God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 📖 1 Corinthians 2:7
📜 Within few days after I received the justification of God and the New Birth, the LORD gave me a vision of Himself.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Master, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Immanuel answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, which is the Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I. [ HE IS SAYING HERE THAT THE FATHER WHICH IS SPIRIT, IS GREATER THAN THE FLESH]
