Farida Khannum is known as Queen of Ghazal singing in whole South Asian Subcontinent

Sir, greetings from Pakistan. Brilliant song and brilliant reactions as always. The legendary Farida Khanum is now 95 years old. There is a genre of music called "Ghazal" in this part of the world - Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. She has mastered that and is known as "Queen of Ghazals". Very appropriately honoured by Coke studio as at an old age it was really big that she graced the coke studio to record this song live. She sung it many years ago as we saw in the pictures. This particular song is extremely famous here with many singers covering it as well. Sir, one two minute song in Coke studio season 8 is still left. It is a national song "Sohni dharti" meaning "Beautiful land" but it is without any English translation as well. Sir, your reactions were fantastic as ever. Sir, with eight out of 14 coke studio seasons reacted to, Coke studio seasons, 1, 2, 3, 4, 12 and 13 (season 13 was titled Coke studio 2020) are left. It has indeed been an unbelievable journey full of joy and emotions as well as your positivity, purity and sincerity. Sir, my recommendations would be to complete Coke studio seasons 1 to 4 before proceeding to seasons 12 and 13. Sir, Coke studio Seasons 2 and 3 were definitely more popular with Season 3 might be slightly ahead. Sir, English translation to Coke studio season 1 is not available for which I will try to do something to get that arranged for yourself but till that time yourself have seasons 2, 3 and 4 to react to. What a way to end with a legend, born in 1929 and still kicking, Farida Khanum is also known by her honorific title Malika-e-Ghazal (The Queen of Ghazal) in both Pakistan and India[3] and is widely regarded as one of the greatest exponents of the ghazal genre of singing.
Its been a great journey so far got so to see and listen to all the songs from these seasons via ur reaction and review videos. thanks. Can't wait for a new season ..
