I have literally had my first fall about a week ago! I find it humoring how we both are starting jumping at the same time, and both had our first fall at the same time!😂

Also it can’t just be me but I do the same that you did at 20:39 when my trainer or coach tells me a course I always do the finger thing 😂

Ur videos make me smile. I was crying all day today because my lease is getting sold because of some dental problems, it couldn’t get fixed so he’s getting sold to someone who rides bit less and stuff. Love that u asked if anyone got it on video! ❤

I love rainbow reins too- not only do they look awesome, they're also really great bc you're able to see if you're holding the reins unevenly based on where your hands are on the colored parts. Glad you were ok after your equine assisted gravity check!

I rode a SUPER SUPER SUPERRRR unbalanced horse for about 2 months straight my canter seat is now 100000000% better! Also it’s good when they hold their head down it keeps them in frame (it’s good for show classes judged by the horse’s movement)
It’s rough in the moment but I know I’m the long term difficult canters make the best seat!!! 😂

My first horse, Mrs. Judy hated minis. The mini was always trying to steal her food. This mini had the attitude of an 18 hand stallion, too 😂

I’ve actually fallen off before! But it’s been a long time, that was back in the spring! I want to go a year without falling off again!

0:52 i can relate. the first horse i rode was super bouncy, but after years of riding him i was able to figure out how to sit his bumpy trot and canter. now i can race him in the fields bareback. 😂 but ever since ive moved up levels and started riding different horses it made me realize, horses CAN be smooth 🤣

if he's quite muddy on the legs, maybe u can spray his legs with some water just to help get some of that mud off! but u do what u do best, bc i'm not u or in Canada and this is just a li'l tip!! 😁
also I love how you guys wear the saddle blankets in winter! I don't use one because I just figure that my pony will warm up anyway, and I don't usually ride when it's cold or raining anyways since I quite dislike the cold and also live on a farm🙄😭😅! Definitely understand the mud bit tho! 😅
Glad you weren’t injured! My first and only fall happened back in December 2021 and I broke my wrist! It was cold so I was wearing a heavy jacket so nothing else hurt! I love your videos!

Mine happened in December 2021 as well! Was cantering the bounciest pony in existence and it was my first canter on purpose. I lost my stirrup and slid off to the side. My mom happened to get it on video! It was hilarious. Unfortunate you broke your wrist, hope you healed up fine and got back on when you could.
I haven’t fallen yet 🤭 but I almost fallen off bareback lol! It’s Ben a year and a half and I might fall tomorrow or after tomorrow or Sunday 😂

Idk if your taking ‘tips’ or not but something that helps me stay on with balance especially
On horses to take tight turns in the corners, but I like to basically “hug the horse” with my legs, lean back, and be ready for the unexpected. Idk if that makes any sense or not so thanks for your time and good job landing on your feet lol

I fell off without stirrups whilest trotting because i clamped on and my horse bronked
