I really like their 'military uniform' look, especially Handong's longcoat.

My eyes went to her first. It really accentuates her tall, slim, figure.

"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things).
It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way.
So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace.
By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well.
Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!

There are technically 3 rappers in the group. Dami (main), Gayheon (lead), & Sua (lead), though Sua doesn't do as much anymore. She was a lead rapper during their Minx days as well but when they rebranded as Dreamcatcher, she stopped doing it as much. I've seen that she had an issue with her vocal cords and that she wanted to focus more on vocals, but she still does raps occasionally. In their 6th anniversary fan song, Reason, which came out between Vision & Bonvoyage, all 3 members have rap sections and it's great. Over the years though all of the members have done raps in various covers.
I really love Vision. I think it shows a Vision of the future that we'll have to deal with if things don't change, while also telling us that if we have to fight, to stand our ground and not back down. The choreography in this one is always so powerful.
Thanks again for checking out more of their work. Only 13 days left till their new mini album and MV.
