It's actually a hen's instinct to incubate eggs. And those ducks don't even know they're adopted since they basically imprint on whoever takes care of them after they hatch 🤣 but this is really cute though! ❤❤

@@WokOverEasy lol I just saw a video on Khaki Campbell ducks being terrible parents. th-cam.com/video/foA1Kp00CRY/w-d-xo.html I don't think they're the same kind of duck but I guess that behavior isn't exclusive to just one species of duck, just more pronounced in some cases.
@@WokOverEasy it's normal, just like humans they choose when to have kids. Ducks and chickens don't choose when to lay eggs and ducks outside of mating season tend not to incubate them
외국에서 오리알 품은 대리모닭 이야기가 있는 데
처음에 깐 뿅오리들이 연못같은 대서 헤엄치니까 놀래가지고 들어가지는 못하고 곁에서 애타게 꼬꼬댁 꼬꼬댁 하곤 했는 데 그것도 익숙해지니까 우리애는 특별한 애임하는 표정으로 느긋해졌다는 이야기를 본적있습니다.
