This is part one or my comparison of the Songbook and the Sangean PR-D5. Please listen to my free iTunes podcast: Psychiatric Secrets Revealed with Dr. Mike.
Hi Mike, you did't and no one else on youtube ever did and that's to say the Sangean pr-d5 has a dc plug in on the bottom, so you can plug it into a cig lighter on your car. The volt on radio is 9v car12v so I order a Artista regulated dc adaptor that can be ajusted to that, from amazon 5.99. I live in my rv van so this is a great feature. Thanks for your video was great. Thanks
@masatozaz I think you may be referring to the AM "step." Theseare different in the Americas and Europe. In the Americas AM radio stations are positioned every 10 KHz and in Europe they are positioned every 9 KHz apart. This isn't a problem with an analog radio but it is a problem with a digital radio like the songbook. The switch allows you to go between 9 and 10 KHz intervals so you can use the radio worldwide.
@MidnightrambIer3760 Hi, I'm not exactly sure of your question...are you talking about both radios? Both radios have small speakers that produce decent sound for their small size...pleasant. The Tivoli sounds a bit richer but with less definition. The Sangean offers better mid-range definition.
