- Raid Medals have been a huge part of clash of clans since the new clan capital update, but it's been difficult figuring out how to calculate raid medals or even how to get more for yourself and your clan. This video takes apart how to get more raid medals and exactly what factors help (or do not help) in getting this valuable resource so you can progress faster and flex your capital gold and raid medals against your friends!

Tbh I don't understand why so many people hate this update, this update is bringing clans to be closer and even more competitive and more enjoyable in general. Clan Raids are really fun and the whole concept is pretty cool. Anyways, great video as always.

Your equation is wrong, the real equation is way longer than that.
A = Total Attacks
R = Raids Done
D = Total Districts Destroyed
ɑ = attacks you have done (maximum of 6)
The number of medals you earn depends on the number and *level* of districts and town halls the clan destroys. So let
Dᵢ = the Total number of level _i_ districts the clan destroyed and
Cᵢ = the total number of level _i_ Capital Halls the clan destroyed.
So to get the number of medals the clan earns from districts (what I'll call from now on the District Value; D.V.) you need to simply sum up the number of level of districts and multiply by 135. What do I mean by that? Well, let's say the clan destroyed 5 level 1 Districts (D₁ = 5) and 3 level 2 Districts (D₂ = 3). The sum of the number of level of districts would be 5×1+3×2 = 5+6 = 11. Then you multiply that by 135 to get the District Value.
So, So far D.V. = (ΣiDᵢ)×135
(Or if you prefer non-sigma notation,
D.V. = (D₁+2D₂+3D₃+4D₄+5D₅)×135)
Another thing that's important is the number and level of capital halls destroyed.
getting the Capital Halls Value (C.H.V.) is not as simple as getting the Districts Value, because now the difference in value between each Capital Hall level is not the same, so the Equation has to be non-sigma notation, and it is:
C.H.V = 180C₂ + 335C₃ + 510C₄ + 705C₅ + 920C₆ + 1155C₇ + 1410C₈ + 1685C₉ + 1980C₁₀
Now that we have The Districts Value and the Capital Halls Value, we can add them up to get the Total Raids Value (T.R.V), then we divide that by the total number of attacks from the clan (A) to get a number, then we round that number up to get another number, then we multiply that by the number of attacks you did (ɑ) and we get the final exact number of offensive medals you personally get!
I'll start expanding the full formula slowly just to not overwhelm you:
Raid Medals Recieved = M
M = ⌈T.R.V/A⌉×ɑ
M = ⌈(D.V.+C.H.V)/A⌉×ɑ
M = ⌈(135×ΣiDᵢ+C.H.V)/A⌉×ɑ
...and, the final equation which will probably not fit on your screen in one line:
M = ⌈((D₁ + 2D₂ + 3D₃ + 4D₄ + 5D₅)×135 + 180C₂ + 335C₃ + 510C₄ + 705C₅ + 920C₆ + 1155C₇ + 1410C₈ + 1685C₉ + 1980C₁₀)/A⌉×ɑ
Where
M = number of raid medals the player received
Dᵢ = number of level _i_ districts the clan destroyed
Cᵢ = number of level _i_Capital Halls the clan destroyed
A = Total number of attacks the clan has done
ɑ = number of attacks the player has done
Btw, if you have a level 2 Clan Capital, the only clans you'll face are gonna be also level 2 Capital Halls with one level 1 district, so the formula simplifies to:
M = ⌈(135D+45R)/A⌉×ɑ
Where
M = number of raid medals the player received
D = Total Districts Destroyed
R = Raids Done
A = Total number of attacks the clan has done
ɑ = number of attacks the player has done

I believe I ran that while I was doing others and no correlation
Makes sense because in the first week, we had a LOT of districts destroyed since there were only baby clan capitals, but we ended up with less raid Medals

At 5K raid medals you can buy either 41.5 million in gold or elixir or you can buy 415K dark elixir with 5K raid medals.

when my alts just looted i mean i just drop and cancel the medals are reduced dramatically so this have much sense, to have more medals as a clan, all the attacks should get gold, and while the gold they get is better (better attacks) more medals we get.

I recently saw a reddit where a person got 800 medals despite using only 12 attacks so i think it only depends on quality and not quantity of attacks.

I think the rewards are based on clan capital levels higher level gets u higher rewards..
idk if you took this into account but I believe a lot of the error in the equation comes from the defensive raid medals you get, they shouldn't be counted

The farther you upgrade, the further you progress, the more raid Medals you'll get. So focus on upgrading more and more

Good question. The equation is a linear line, which probably isn't how the real equation is. Because of this, extreme results (too high or low) won't have the same sort of results
I raid alone with 11 accs and get 200 more than with 30 people did (my clanmates specifical)
I think it also depends on the amount of attacks you fo based on the recent update

I just got my raid weekend results and we got only 472 medals even tho we completed #12 raids and 21 people used their attacks....i was expecting the medals to be around 600-700 atleast
So yeah according to the video, that stuff doesn't matter, moreso the capital gold per attack

Last week,50 people finished all their attacks and we got 1800 medal but this week, some players didn't finish all of their attack,we got 1650 this week. Although the loot we got was pretty close to previous week.
Wow! First off all, I appreciate this video, it was exactly the analysis I was looking for: what do I need my clan to do better to get more medals?
And honestly, I had already decided that the total number of attacks along with the gold per attack was it, just based on having multiple accounts in a clan that went from doing few raids to doing more. And my rewards have gone up, for sure.
But what about capital league? Does the higher league not get higher rewards, or is it just a way of separating out weaker and stronger clans for the sake of competition?

Here's the theory.
If your clan gets 100million Gold from 50 people in the Gold League of Capital,
You'd get fewer medals than Gold from the same people in the Titan League of Capital.
I mean that when you get 20,000 Gold per 1 person, it's better to play in the higher League Of Capital.
The reason you get an awkward result is that You missed this factor I guess.
Yeah,we used to get less in chmpion or lower league.
But after we entered titan,we are getting atleast 1650+ medals every week. The highest we got was probably around 1850. Right now we are in legend.
