As a 68-75-50-20 th13 account that started on Jan 1st, 2019 - hammer of fighting is what makes you progress the fastest, if you can farm enough. Laboratory is the most time consuming thing in the game, so for the fastest maxing out, that's where the medals should be spent. All of this is assuming you can farm enough, to keep 3-4 heroes asleep at the same time in the th11+ grind.
It is odd that the hammer of heroes is 165 vs hammer of building being 120. But in the trader, the book of heroes is 500 and the book of building is like 900. This, I don't get.
Bcoz you don't have to pay any dark elixir if u use hammer of heros so you don't have to grind for more dark elixer But with book of heros you have to grind for dark elixer So Book of hero < book of building < hammer of building < hammer of heros
th11 is quite a long term grind, so if you’ve already gotten a hammer or two, i’d recommend just keeping the extra medals until next cwl and putting overflow medals towards more hammers. i’d also recommend only using medals to progress your lab, as it takes substantially longer than the defense upgrades after you total all the upgrades up.
My favourite is Hammer of Fighting! Lab research always take longer than upgrading buildings in every TH, and there are more troops than spells to upgrade. Have used quite a few Hammers to help me diversify my attacking army compositions!
Conclusion: Best item is the Hammer of Heroes - skip down time of your heroes - gets better the higher ur heroes are - good hero levels are very important

Couldn’t the hammer of building potentially be good value if used on the right building? Like the eagle artillery or the TH, things that have both high resource cost to upgrade and pretty long upgrade timers.

So it´s not really worth using a hammer. Furthermore, allocating a hammer to upgrading the new townhall level provides only marginal defensive benefits, whereas neglecting the investment in other parts like the clan castle or heroes, significantly reduces the potential value gained from their activation or upgrades. If you dont have any upgrade left, it doesn´t matter I guess. Hope I could make it clear.
small correction. else its a great video and I enjoyed it. :) to be precise the Builder Potion on 5 Builders grantsonly 45 hrs. Since it takes the 5 builders 1h to resolve the effect. You would have spent that 1h anyways on upgrades, so you have to shave that off. They dont grant 50hrs. This applies also for the research potion. It only holds an effective value of 23hrs , since the effect needs 1h to resolve. This does not apply to the hammers, since their effect is instant and they are not timegated or time dependent.

I always love to use a builder potion when getting to a new town hall to help get all of the new buildings to a decent level, excluding signature defenses.
I think you left out something about the wall rings, they are actually really useful for the Builder Base because you will usually not have the opportunity to grind walls out on the Builder Base because of the daily loot limit. If you’re using the wall rings for the Builder Base then they are actually one of the best ways to save the time to upgrade walls on the Builder Base. 10 wall rings is equivalent to 5 MILLION Builder Base loot which takes an eternity to save up for.

For me, the best potions are Research & Builder. Not that Training Potion is not good but it can be attained in many ways as Judo said. Books are of great value too because Town Halls, X-bows, Inferno Towers etc., take many days to upgrade.

Just bought my first magic item ever. It was a hammer of building. Im a th10 and I wasn’t willing to go 5 days without spells so i used it on the spell factory.
Hammer of Buiding is the best when use it on laboratory right after TH upgrade, because the for few days you will get access to max lvl troops on this TH

That is 10 days saved, as opposed to one troop or spell worth 10 days in the lab, or a building worth 10 days to upgrade. I prefer builder potions as I don't need loot, but want to speed up the time of upgrades, as opposed to hammers which save both time and loot. Since I’m town hall 13, I just dump everything into hammer of heroes since dark elixir can be crazy hard to get if you aren’t directly farming for it. Gold and elixir are easier, so wall rings are next to useless. Maybe training potion, but then I would just buy them from the trader since I need my medals for thr hammers for the queen. Builder potion is next to useless unless I need to fix the timing of the builders.
One builder potion can take off 60 hrs worth for 30, 4 of them makes up a hammer of building, so that is up to 240hrs or 10days worth of upgrades total having 6 builders, so pay attention to only use a hammer of building for a upgrade worth more than 10 days
When hitting a new th level a builder potion makes it easy to upgrade all your new stuff several levels very quickly. Research potions are great for low level lab upgrades but the worst grind in the game is upgrading heroes so just save your medals and buy those hammers asap

@@shaheerchaudhry9459 Well it is pretty common to be kicked if you miss a CWL attack without good reason. Especially if you are new to the clan. CW is less risk to be kicked.
As a player who just started a few months playing, my number one priority is time and getting resource is still easy, depending which troop/spell/building that has the longest time to upgrade will be my choice. So the hammer of heroes for me is the worst possible choice among other hammers.
15:30 all this time I've been buying Hammer of buildings,very rarely heros because its more expensive. The lab hammers are definitely more valuable than the building ones and I should have gone for it.

For lower THs = research pot
For higher THs = hammers

I rushed my laboratory in th9 so I use research potions on the archers and loons.
İf upgreaded troop (in lab) upgreade time is less than 6 days use research potion else hammer is better option basiacly use potion th 9 and lower th's
If u are lower th than u can take postion but if u are in higher levels like th10 or 11 or above u should go with hammers

The builder potion with also boosts your builder in the builder base but I'm not sure if it works on Otto or not

I never use hammer if heros, you get more value (in terms of time) for buildings that take 3 weeks to upgrade
for the math : unless your upgrade takes above 8 days and 8 hours u should always take 4x builder potion, it has more value
