- Today we finally arrived in the hill city of Kerala, Munnar.🇮🇳
We took our first trip into the City Center, and it was not what we expected!
Munnar always gets advertised as God's own Country, with breathtaking nature and all around, as the nature destination in Kerala. However, no one talks about the City tucked in between all of this beautiful nature, that's why we wanted to explore the City and meet the people that really live here.
We dove into the local life of this Indian City, with a traditional Indian Breakfast and our first tea from the lush tea farms that cover all the hills around Munnar City. After that, we grabbed some traditional Indian Sweets and also went to a local Barbershop. There we had a nice talk with the Barber and the other Guest visiting the Barbershop. We headed out to grab ourselves some locally produced Chocolates to get a first taste of Munnar specialties, of course we had to also grab us one of the best teas of our lifetimes, since that is what Munnar is famous for. 🇮🇳
And we have to say it did not disappoint!
Not only the tea and the Chocolate in Munnar are exceptional, but also the Kindness and attitude of the locals here! 🙏🏼
What a great first day in this packed Hill City of India.🇮🇳
Cheers guys

Hope u will get that much love from India.. U will come again and again and again and again 😊❤❤
Yes we really enjoy it here! 🙏🏼🇮🇳
Basically, using right hand is a way of respect, be it eating or even giving something to someone, just like we all shake hands only with our right hand. Doesn't matter if you are a right handed or a left handed person.
And I suggest you to ask somebody local in Munnar to know about the beautiful places which you shouldn't miss.
Happy stay in Kerala.
Thanks for sharing, we enjoy it in Kerala very much
Munnar municipality should provide side-walk paths for pedestrians.
Brothers the reason behind we call kerala as a goods own country ➡️
All the religions of the world were first propagated in India in Kerala eg:Christianity was spread by St. Thomas in AD 52. The first Islamic mosque was built in 629 CE. Kerala is called God's own country because all religions existed like this.
When you go back to Germany please show us your lifestyle in Germany
You guys interested in that ?😂

Thanks!!

A lil about the communist background of Kerala.
Kerala had the first democratically elected communist government in the world .
Helped a lot in eradicating caste based and religious discrimination and marginalising .
But the concept of communism is very diff from what was seen jn Russia amd Eastern euopean countries... Its an indianised version of communism.
This party CPIM , along with Their main opposition, UDF helped a lot in helping the state becoming the top in india in Education, health, HDI ,civic sense and similar indicators .
This healthy competition is what made kerala diff from rest of the states ..But they all have their drawbacks in policies and execution, dirty politics nowadays.
On top of that the union govt in delhi is a bit unwelcoming towards our needs and culture, which is actually frustrating at times . Dirtier right wing conservative politics .
Especially recent days . Industrial sector and businesses and are some fields we need to improve on .
Hope this helped you people . Feel free to ask for clarifications .
For food and forts, history, must explore the states Rajasthan.... For food and temples gurudwarawas must visit Amritsar which is in Punjab state..

The "white tea" is also essentially green tea. It is white tender stems before it become tea leaves that are plucked, processed and called white tea, because the tea looks white. It is rich in antioxidants and very healthy!
Yes we heard that also! We want to check out more tea and maybe also a tea plantation
Barber to tea shop vendor everybody speaks English, very friendly and helpful. Enjoy watching the video.

I'm literally in awe to be honest and at the same time so proud of you guys. You gotta have guts to handle South Indian Spices. And be prepared, if you come to NorthEast India, it's not masala, its chilli you gotta have to deal with
Thank you we appreciate it! 🙏🏼
bro in india there are 22 official languages in each states it changes. in kerala official language is malayalam. when you guys are in north india in those states it is hindi and languages similar to hindi
Thanks for sharing!
@@zingwibrothersalso the southern Languages and Northern Languages( Hindi) are from different language families with little (barely) similarities. Many in the southern region understand them Northern Languages (Hindi) but barely any Northerner speak or understand the southern languages.
Fair comparison would be Hindi and Malayalam/Tamil is as similiar as Finnish to Mandarin.
@@GreenGinger-j7jmalayalam is much more similar to Sanskrit, which makes it similar to Hindi.
@@Nairrrrrrrtop nonsense. Malayalam not similar to sanskrit and 0 similarity with hindi. Malayalam 25 percent tamil and 10 percent Arabic portugese etc 5 percent sanskrit which are literature words copied to Sanskrit from old dravidian language by poojaris😂
Languages similar to Hindi nice joke 😂😂😂
Punjabi ,rajasthani , Gujarati ,himachali ,haryanvi ,ggadwali / kumaoni
You sare saying they are similiar to Hindi 😂😂😂

Kochi, Kerala should promote the Kochi-Lakshadeep pack for international tourists who want to enjoy the beautiful deep blue sea and coasts. If Lakshadeep would promote tourism with standard infrastructure, it would beat Maldives, because geographically and by landscapes, both Lakshadeep and Maldives are identical. The only difference is that Maldives is way more appealing to international tourists.
I am sure, Lakshadeep can reach up to that level of tourism if they innovate their airport facilities, airlines, transportation and standard infrastructure.
There is one wild elephant who occasionally visits Munnar town. His name is Padayappa be careful if you come across him, he is not friendly at all.
Haha really ?😂 he’s a well know villain ?
@@zingwibrothers , he visits Munnar to have some snacks from the shops. He raids veges and fruits stocked up by small traders on the sides of the roads and streets there. He is very large with curved long tusks. Just keep away from him.
Handsome boys 😊
Haha thank you 🙏🏼😊
Bro coming to northeast India Meghalaya Tripura Assam anachal Sikkim ❤😍
Yes we do go Sikkim! Where should we go there ?
You could visit north of Sikkim, to lachung or gurudongmar lake. It is super amazing but would be a long journey. Pelling in Sikkim is also a beautiful town
Otherwise capital city of Sikkim which is Gangtok and Darjeeling are popular tourist destinations
@@zingwibrothersCome to Meghalaya.❤
Guys, try the orange, mango, chilli chocolates😊
Sounds good we like the chocolate it’s sooo good
@@zingwibrothers Yeps, I did suggest you guys to try the chocolate there yesterday itself on your video upload on the bus journey to Munnar. 😁
CPM stands for Communist Party of India(Marxist). Marxism is a very popular ideology is Kerala along with Ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi. Karl Marx(who is German) may not be very popular in Europe but is a hero in Kerala. The current ruling government of Kerala(LDF(Left democratic front) is CPM in coalition with other smaller parties. I would also like to let you know that majority of native people in Munnar are Tamils even though the state is part of Kerala.
Since you have learnt aloo, few hindi words for food items, chana - chickpea, matar - peas, gobi - cauliflower, paneer- cottage cheese, dahi - yogurt, dal - lentil, rajma - beans, malai - cream, jhinga - prawn, anda- egg, roti - flat bread. You are good to go for ordering north Indian dishes.
Thanks for sharing!
6:48 the next prime minister gonna be from CPM 😂😂 this party is dead bro !!!
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar
The writer of Indian constitution
Thanks for explaining
The dress is called Lungii, a traditional dress of South Indian.
Thanks for sharing!
The person who said to you that next Prime Minister of India is from CPM should be given Nobel Prize, Oscar Award and Federal Cross of Merit, or Bundesverdienstkreuz .....until this earth exists CPM person cannot become PM of India.. 😀😀😀😀😀😀
Aw samoosa 😂
The state kerala is ruled by a communist party. There is communist party meeting in munnar that is why you are seeing red flag with sickle and hammer there
You both are friendly has good vibes and Iam sure you attract good experiences with Indian people all the best guys 😊

You have to go out of Munnar town to really feel the nature.

Thank you 🙏🏼🇮🇳
Next prime minister is from CPI(M) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 SORRY guys I can't control my laugh 🤭 the last leter of that party may familiar to you because he is a German named karal mask and you can see that party only here in Kerala... If you cross the borders of Kerala you can never find that party or that symbol anywhere 🤭
So youve reached Munnar.. my favorite place in Kerala. Since you are from Germany, you would be used to cool/ cold weather. I was freezing. But its so beautiful. The tea gardens/ plantations are so unique and its awesome. Munnar has one of the best teas, you can get tea crazy. My special one is orange flavored tea. The scenery is spectacular. Especially if you go into the plantations etc. Munnar is famous for its tea. The chocolates are super.. And they also have the most wonderful cotton clothes. Super soft and lovely quality. If youre interested, you could perhaps buy a shirt. Or perhaps try out a kurta.. Kerala food is absolutely mouth watering.
Anyway, all the best. Have a great day tomorrow in Munnar.
Thanks for sharing! We are hyped for tomorrow!
Civil engineer here😂🤚
Engineering brother 💪🏼🇩🇪🇮🇳
Ok guys, Right Hand for all things. Left Hand is used as a reusable tissue paper after going to the loo (of course washed with soap after).
Also never hand over money between your fingers in a scissors gesture (like rock paper scissors game). It is considered arrogant.
Money is to be handed over held between fore finger and thumb (like a pinch of sugar or salt)

One of the 12 Apostles of Jesus Christ that is Thomas, came to Kerala. Bartholomew who was also one among the 12 Disciples came to North India.
Please come to alapuzha,kerala 🙏 🙏 🙏
Kerala is not mostly Christians ....it's with all relegion and very secular state but the majority is hindu like any other states .....I like the lady but it's false to say it's mostly Christians.....kerala is known to the state of padmanabhan...i respect all relegion but someone disrespect mine I treat them same .....I want my state to be secular so pls don't add any religious comment..
Well done guys ❤, Nice videos from you guys ❤
Thank you 👍🏼🇮🇳
And sir, the right and left hand.... Indians use the water cleaning for the ass and European use the swipes ! So we use the left hands to clean the ass, so it's preferably to use right hand for all habits of eating !!
The men were wearing lungi , that's a traditional piece of cloth especially worn by the people of southern part of india.

Funny how these south indians are fine with two random english speaking europeans asking around the city in English and bow their heads down towards them, and here we have our own indians who speak any other language than their regional one, they get triggered and treat our own people like garbage lol
There was nothing special in the video today 😞. Is it because it's raining???
Your r luckey bro this year we r getting 35 years record of lowest rainfall...
May be due to recent cyclone "biporjoy" and elnino
We thought so too, for monsoon season we really had not much rain till now!
what you thought looks like a skirt is actually called ‘Lungi’, which is the normal attire in southern part of India. You guys can try it too just for the fun of it. 😊
