*** The car must be running when you check the fluid level. If you remove the 5mm hex screw without the car running you will drain out too much fluid. OEM Nissan Matic-S ATF
Thanks for your vid, very details the pro way. I will have to copy your way to do my new old 2011 car soon, probably this is the 1st. time fluid change for the car 🤞. Hopefully can see more value vid from you ❤
hey man thanks alot for this video, i just got my 2019 370 and i was looking forward to do all the basic maintenance myself. I was just confused about one thing in the video, why do you need the transmission to be at 140F? is this required? also do you wait to hit that temperature after u pumped in the new transmission fluid?
Did you see where the fluid leaves the transmission and makes its way to the bottom of the radiator? I want to do this and add a transmission cooler. I know my valve body is likely toasted as I have the highly noted harsh shift from 3rd to 4th when the fluid is hot...
Planning on having this done soon. I usually go to Infiniti. The shade tree was going to do it but now he's backing out. He recommended a transmission shop. They were talking about replacing the gasket and filter. Is there a brand of gasket and filter you would recommend?
If I am putting in a new valve body will I need to replace the filter? I can’t find it online any where. Also do I need to replace the transmission pan and the transmission pan gasket ?
How come did you check the level at 140F? I think you said 114F or 46C in your other video. I read on forms somewhere that it should be 104F does the temperature matter??
I did several drain and fills the first time I changed my fluid at about 80k km. I'm at 100k km now and thinking about dropping the pan this time to clean the pan and check the magnets. Not sure if thst filter needs cleaning unless you have a lot of loose debris in there
been thinking about doing this to my 2014 370z auto, but i have a few friends that did change the transmission fluid and all of a sudden the transmission sensor broke and only gear one or three works.
