From my understanding of the pistol, the frame is an aluminum alloy. The color was more of a silver color when it was new. The discoloration is the alloy aging and that is why it looks like a faded black color. Thanks for sharing and I am hoping to get one in .32. I hear the 9x18 is to strong for the soft alloy frame and wears it out (not too sure but it's what I read). Hopefully more people can comment and give more accurate information.

I shoot my a lot it ever fails, i don't see any thing that shows wearing. Yes its aluminum alloy frame. It hasn't faded on mine nor has discolor Its a tight, and strong little pistol ~ Only thing i wish that the slide grips was deeper and up more where you can pull it back more easy, with sweaty hands it will slip

@@426superbee4 Awesome, glad its working out for you. Recently the prices of these pistols are in the $500.00 range and .32 ammo has skyrocketed along with everything else. I should have purchased the pistol pre 2010 when they used to be $99.00 on J&G Sales..haha. I did get a Bersa Thunder .380 and it has been a great shooter for the price point. Gives you the Walther PPK feel but on a budget. Hope it continues to be a great gun for you!

Aluminum alloy doesn't fade to black. I have an AP-MPB, as well as a few PA-63 s. The frame on the AP-MPB is turning plum. The PA-63 s are still bright, shiny alloy. Some guns were unfinished alloy, some guns were finished dark. As far as the strength of the alloy frames are concerned, initially they had a problem with the frames being too weak. They introduced some tiny amount of titanium to the mix and that fixed things, although I have heard from more than one reputable source that these are not guns you want to be putting 10K rounds through. These were designed for police use, hence more carried than fired.

THIS. I collect and have several examples. My AP-MBP blued frame is also turning a little plummy. My alloy framed FEGs are still bright and shiny.

Esta pistola es muy versátil, un amigo mío falleció y era el propietario de una FEG del mismo modelo, calibre .380 ACP, y su hija decidió obsequiarmela, es fantástica y la conservo desde hace 2 años.

That magazine release system is intentional on many guns in order to prevent the shooter from dropping the mags under stress. IIRC the P38 is one example.

Just ordered the 9 lb. hammer spring from Wilson. Hope this helps with that rough racking and unusable trigger pull. Factory is 16 lbs I believe. Ill let ya know for those who wish they could stay on target through that pull. Precocked pull is pretty good

These things have brutal kick to the webbing of your hand. Even after changing the recoil spring to 15 lbs I had it put a welt on the webbing. I consider this a deal breaker. The new hammer spring, on the other hand, helped a lot with trigger pull.

I dearly love mine ~ i own one 👍 i love the looks and feel like a Walther! But its not a Walther, Its made in Knox Tenn. Yes it loud as a 38. Deadly Accurate at 50 to 75 yrds. This gun doesn't get the respects it needs, cause of being a small Mak 9mm round. Lot better than the 380 acp by a long shot. I would bravely say LOT BETTER THAN A 9 MM. I would stake my life on this pistol. If the Hungary police department carries them, THEY GOT TO BE GOOD 👍

Some people swear by Walther magazines in the FEG .32acp. I haven't had good luck with them. They won't hold the slide open after the last round... That's something I can live with. However, they fit loosely in the magazine well (as if the mag is too narrow) and often drop out when firing... That's not good.

The one mag you have is correct for the 7.65mm with 7 witness holes the other two you have are for the 9mm PA-63 and have 6 witness holes. there is a difference in the mags for these little pistols.

Walther PP PPK/s magazines fit. It was designed to be interchangeable with the Walthers.

FEG magazines are taller & have a tab on the follower for last round hold open. And the top of the mags shape significantly different.

These little Feg pistols are all Well made and Very Reliable Military/Police firearms. He is having trouble with this one because he is not using the correct magazine. the tittle to this vid. is confusing as to what pistol he's talking about. The AP-MBP is a 7.65mm The PA-63 is a 9x18mm two different guns that Don't use the same magazines. Tried to tell another guy the same thing he ended up selling me his pistol for 75 beans. bought the Correct 7.65mm mags and the little pistol has never jammed once in over 400 rounds.

Most mag problems with these little Feg pistols is people think there is no difference in the 9mm from the 7.65mm mags. the 9mm have 6 holes the 7.65mm have 7 holes.
