Great video, man. I enjoyed watching it. I wish you had the opportunity to go inside some of the Soviet block apartments as I am curious to see how big the flats are.
These big advertisements on the buildings, you can see this in a lot of the big East German cities, Leipzig for example, they didn’t got taken down because the West, who technically swallowed the East, didn’t make this kind of ads, therefore they never got replaced. I never realized this until I saw some tourists (I guess) from the western side of Germany take photos of that.
I went to stay for five days in a russian hood in berlin in a guest apartment where i stayed with a german family who lived in the su. And man what an experience it was. So cool to hear about their stories.
I drew up in a small Town in east Germany. After High School I decided to study in Berlin. I am now living in the Karl-Marx-Allee and it actually feels like I never left. Still Soviet Flats everywhere and a Television Tower when I look outside my window, but this time it's just taller. Btw the Karl-Marx-Allee isn't made smaller because it's to big. They want to make a Cyclist highway out of it next to the cars and so far 2 Cyclists died because of it. I saw it with my own eyes...

The Zebra in my German town: Bin ich ein Witz für dich?
Great video, man. I enjoyed watching it. I wish you had the opportunity to go inside some of the Soviet block apartments as I am curious to see how big the flats are.
In Berlin Hellersdorf, there’s a giant painting of Yuri Gagarin on the wall of an apartment building.
Love the vid Roman! Reminds me of Mr. Bald himself. That just means twice the travel content.
@nfkrz, you should go to the DDR museum next time, it's a great laugh !
Roman always reminding us he’s from Chelyabinsk is a bruh moment.
This is a great idea. Like Russia in a parallel universe (essentially the same architecture, but populated by different people). I've been to Russia and I love both Russia and Russians, but it is very sad when you think that everything could look a bit more like this, but does not.
Bald: Look at these Soviet buildings
Roman: Look at these Stalin's buildings
I grew up in Hellersdorf, which is now joined with Marzahn. I never got the feeling that it is really dangerous. I mean you can get stabbed everywhere if you are unlucky ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But it is funny to see you in Berlin. I disccovered your channel just some tome ago and heard you saying you already visited berlin, so here I am. Good video :D
Bruh, the south of Berlin is more criminal than the east^^
The two old German ladies probably remember your great grandfather coming to Berlin! Just subbed you. Great video!
Yo!! U were mentioned in Pewds new Minecraft vid today
Wow, I've heard a lot of Russians speak English, but man, you're good. Like almost no accent. Thumbs up!
You said you would be doing a video with BaldAndBankrupt?
we are, closer to the end of july
btw the song in the beginning is "we are the army of the people" , for those that want to know.
Trying to decide who says Soviet" most often, Roman or Mr Bald?
I like the Change In content, especially since you know what you’re talking about. Keep it up! I think it suits you.
Have you also filmed other parts of Berlin and the rest of your trip? Or is this the only Berlin video you’ve planned on posting?
i will have a different vid later with my thoughts in general
This was super interesting! Thank you for doing this/explaining this.
You will be amazed if one day you get to visit Brasilia that It is pretty soviet oriented. It's designed like no other city in Brazil.
I fuckin’ love Roman’s content, he’s a cool dude 🤙
