That is a beautiful knife, an awesome gift.
You did a great job with marlispikes, been a while since I seen those used , remember the guys home on the trawlers using them to splice warp for the gear and on bigger ropes. I'd be interested in the other spike for sure.

Sorry to hear that you friend Vic passed. It would be nice to have his name on the sheath. That sure is a beautiful knife, marlin spike and sheath. You did a great job on creating two new ones from just lag screws. Funny how you can drop something in a shed and it just vanishes for a while or sometimes it never shows up. I will stay out of the draw this time as I don't know how to splice rope and I would rather someone else win and actually use it. It is very cool though........Take care, Mike.
