Battle Beast went to earth with intention to fight the guardians but when he got there they were already dead so he stuck around on earth for a bit and was told by the machine head there will be a worthy opponent for him to fight. With no challange he left and we will see him again later.
thanos used to own a thanos themed helicopter and was beaten by squirrel girl in the same issue. so I wouldn't be suprised if marvel published a story where kingpin hired thanos to kill spider-man or something

Thats actually a good point, maybe thats why it was odd for the guardians to see Omni-Man *actually* help them out in that first episode, like that may've been off-putting for them since he has that attitude towards helping people and thus alluding to how he's going to do something

I think it was also p interesting when they had Mark go up against the planetary inspector guy. I mean, Omni-man didn't even talk to the guy enough to realize he was there on a clerical error. I think even small details like that show that he might not actually be as interested in protecting humanity as he says.
Sheera is right about Titan btw. He didn't intend for things to happen that way but he took the opportunity. He meant what he said about fixing the city and you can see glimpses throughout the episode.

Titan didn't necessarily betray Mark, but just the way things played out, Mark took a serious beating. Titan's goal was to take over Machine Heads territory and power. Omniman didn't help solely to teach Mark a lesson, he doesn't see his son as human and wants Mark to act like a Viltrumite, even if it means Mark has to suffer a near death experience then so be it.
kinda different from his underlyingly loving side in the comics, this version of his character seems full viltrumite unfortunately. Along with alot of other story changes ive seen so far im kinda leaning towards this being an altrenate timeline or something.

I didn't think Titan was that bad either, but when I think about it, he probably knew that Machine Head would send extra bad guys since he's working with Isotope, so it is kind of F*cked that he let Invincible go in without that knwoledge.

Exactly, in all honesty this couldn't have gone better! Titan's running things and I figure he'll keep crime organized and avoid the more monstrous actions of machinehead (Titan = Frank Lucas from 'American Gangster'). Mark got that ego he was developing beaten out of him. The new Guardians finally realized they need to work together. Best of all, Omni-man has made a critical mistake by not saving his son. Not only will this make Mark more willing to accept the truth when it comes out, but the GDA now has a sample of Viltrumite blood that they can use to develop a countermeasure to Omni-man. Honestly, Titan may have just saved the world, we should be THANKING him for his actions!

That’s why instead of killing him while Thragg was getting attacked by those Pterodactyl-looking creatures, he protected him. His version of glory is a battle where there’s no advantages for both sides-just a clean, full-power fight. He didn’t “want” to be killed by Thragg, he accepted his fate after getting his heart ripped out the already-opened torso region of his body. He literally said “thank-you” before fully dying to Thragg. That’s why people like him so much lol he really did an unexpectedly unnecessary move just to make sure Thragg had even odds with him. *Truly a Chad Battle-Beast*

Low key Sheera is a volume shooter. She makes a lot of predictions in every episode of every show, and the ones she gets correct are the ones that stand out. Sometimes it's genuinely impressive, but other times I wish she'd slow down and absorb the story instead of trying to get ahead of it.

Can we just acknowledge that Battle Beast came in this episode, clapped just about everyone, and then bounced for the rest of the season. Can't wait to see more of him in the future.
tbh in this episode it was more just basic survival instincts. Battle Beast would slaughter him in a fight, and it would be a fight that would destroy cities at the minimum. It was the morally correct choice to not do anything.
Imagine there’s another Viltramite on another planet close by (or just another in general) that just keeps sending asteroids back to Omni-Man; Nolan is sending them back again as a game, like some sick, interplanetary Pong match (or ping pong, if you will) 😂🤣
they had a friendly exchange, he watched her walk away, then the robot had to check him just in case he was thinking about it. Rex is already supposed to be a character we dislike, it would make sense for us to dislike him even further because he's into someone who looks like a little girl.
What made it hard to tell for me, was that after he says he's not interested he immediately followed it up by saying he could fuck whoever he wanted because he's a hero. Concerning Rex’s already asshole behavior, it came off like he was saying he could be with anyone regardless of age just because he thought he was the shit. On first review for people like me who didn't read the comic, it’s like he said he wasn't interested just to get Robot off his back.
Oh and also they guy at the end with his daughter and wife is acctually good even though he played invincible he wanted to take control to fix the city up and make it a better place
robot likes monster girl because he understands how she feels. there was that one time when they were talking about how it's hard being misunderstood. at least that's what I think
Spoiler. In the comics robot creates a clone of Rex and takes over it so he can become a normal human. He finds a cure for monster girls de aging and monster girl changes back to her 24 year old self. After that happens they get married. Robot eventually becomes a villain though and mark is forced to kill him in the second last chapter of the comics. Yes robot is literally the final boss in the comics. In the comics robot creates several robots that were powerful enough to fight and even kill viltrumites.
@@calebstephan2083 Well mark doesn't exactly kill him, he keeps his brain in a tube so they can keep his ideas, because robot did a good job of protecting earth just not in a heroic way, so they end up using his ideas basically.

In the comics omni-man didn't see Mark get hurt by battle beast, and monster girl never got hurt. Black samson's hand also wasn't crushed (he was still heavily injured). Mark's injuries also weren't this bad.
Overall I think this version did good with that fight. I like how the animated version is different... yet somehow faithful to the comic at the same time.
In Titan's defense, he does seem genuine in trying to make the city better. Sure he manipulated the SHIT out of Invincible. But, he had bigger priorities then keeping a hero he BARELY knows safe....or alive. I support this wholesome kingpin. 8D

Omni man shouldnt even be on the planet right now nor was he this much of an actual sociopathic asshole in the comics (sure he fought mark for his beliefs but he would never have actually killed him, this version seems very dedicated though). Marks mom is actually suspicious of her husband at all while hes still around, which didnt happen. Cecil did not banish damien darkblood at all in the comic books. Immortal should be alive again at this point and trying to kill omni man. Alot of the timing on most events so far has at least been changed in some way. With all the parallel reality talk in the comics im leaning on this maybe being one of those parallel universes or something at this point, hopefully not one of the many bad ones though. I personally dont think these changes are arbitrary if they lend themselves to the story. Plenty of weird alternate timelines with female thor and a black wallie west. Try to move on its not in your face with any agenda so far man.
That’s why Omniman didn’t want them to keep his suit since it still had his bloodstains on it. They want a contingency plan in order to final control Nolan.

Battle Beast one of my favorite characters in the comics, glad his introduction lived up to the hype.
This isn't even Battle Beast at his best. When you see what he's capable of doing... He's insane and could even beat Omni Man honestly if he's serious.

He would’ve beaten Thragg if he didn’t decide to open up his own stomach with his blade but he did it because he didn’t see it as “fair-game” when Thragg was basically badly wounded. That’s why instead of killing him while Thragg was getting attacked by those Pterodactyl-looking creatures, he protected him. His version of glory is a battle where there’s no advantages for both sides-just a clean, full-power fight. He didn’t “want” to be killed by Thragg, he accepted his fate after getting his heart ripped out the already-opened torso region of his body. He literally said “thank-you” before fully dying to Thragg. That’s why people like him so much lol he really did an unexpectedly unnecessary move just to make sure Thragg had even odds with him. *Truly a Chad Battle-Beast*

Low key Sheera is a volume shooter. She makes a lot of predictions in every episode of every show, and the ones she gets correct are the ones that stand out. Sometimes it's genuinely impressive, but other times I wish she'd slow down and absorb the story instead of trying to get ahead of it.

Can we just acknowledge that Battle Beast came in this episode, clapped just about everyone, and then bounced for the rest of the season. Can't wait to see more of him in the future.
I think Omni-Man's tough love is a little more tough than it is love.
tbh in this episode it was more just basic survival instincts. Battle Beast would slaughter him in a fight, and it would be a fight that would destroy cities at the minimum. It was the morally correct choice to not do anything.

What made it hard to tell for me, was that after he says he's not interested he immediately followed it up by saying he could fuck whoever he wanted because he's a hero. Concerning Rex’s already asshole behavior, it came off like he was saying he could be with anyone regardless of age just because he thought he was the shit. On first review for people like me who didn't read the comic, it’s like he said he wasn't interested just to get Robot off his back.

In the comics robot creates a clone of Rex and takes over it so he can become a normal human. He finds a cure for monster girls de aging and monster girl changes back to her 24 year old self. After that happens they get married. Robot eventually becomes a villain though and mark is forced to kill him in the second last chapter of the comics. Yes robot is literally the final boss in the comics. In the comics robot creates several robots that were powerful enough to fight and even kill viltrumites.

In the comics omni-man didn't see Mark get hurt by battle beast, and monster girl never got hurt. Black samson's hand also wasn't crushed (he was still heavily injured). Mark's injuries also weren't this bad.

Omni man shouldnt even be on the planet right now nor was he this much of an actual sociopathic asshole in the comics (sure he fought mark for his beliefs but he would never have actually killed him, this version seems very dedicated though). Marks mom is actually suspicious of her husband at all while hes still around, which didnt happen. Cecil did not banish damien darkblood at all in the comic books. Immortal should be alive again at this point and trying to kill omni man. Alot of the timing on most events so far has at least been changed in some way. With all the parallel reality talk in the comics im leaning on this maybe being one of those parallel universes or something at this point, hopefully not one of the many bad ones though. I personally dont think these changes are arbitrary if they lend themselves to the story. Plenty of weird alternate timelines with female thor and a black wallie west. Try to move on its not in your face with any agenda so far man.
