People come on.... I would say the comment was not referring to Prince William being a God-like. I took it more as the informal use of the word i.e. "The soldiers all looked divine on those beautiful horses" or "that chocolate cake was divine."
Always a pleasure to watch these smartly turned out troops do their thing.

Great rehearsal. Bags of swank and as a precursor to his own reign, the Prince of Wales showed that he has that ‘built-in’ ability to make it look like a walk in the park!

Not a rehearsal. This is the second of three birthday parades. Last Saturday was led by a major general, today Prince William and next Saturday by KC.

I have never seen so many well cared for horses. They’re spectacular. And Prince William is magnificent in his uniform and riding his horse. He really is very “ princely”.

I am always amazed by the number and colour of the uniforms in the UK and I love that we still have the traditional use of horse, it makes everything so spectacular. I am English and never grow tired of it. I wonder if any of the horses gifted from Canada to King Charles at his Coronation will be here

The British people should be proud of their heritage and country. The magnificent show of dignity and tradition, no other Monarchy like England exists. Their monarchy is the Best!!

I am an American. The level of horsemanship involved in what looks like a simple saunter down the street is mind boggling..Where do they get all of those fabulous black horses? OH, centuries of breeding , tradition, patriotism. Wish the US would spend just a fraction of it's military budget on something as breathtaking instead of flyovers.
The black horses the Mounties rode in the coronation parade had been gifted from Canada to the royal family for their own use, and leant back to them for that occasion. I don't know if that's true of the rest of them, but it's a nice thought.

Working in a little gold work embroidery myself ,I am mesmerised in the huge task that was taken on ,and completed. I love seeing the beautiful fine detail in all the Royal Regalia ,especially the preservation of the historical heirlooms. We are so fortunate to witness such craftsmanship.

I dont normally like parades, but this is so enjoyable to watch. We have nothing compared to this in the US. They do a wonderful job for the monarchy and the British people.

The King inherited Queen Elizabeth's horses, but sold quite a few of them.
