- Had my GoPro out in hopes of capturing some memorable playoff moments for Toronto but instead got this. Tough loss but still had a great time watching the leafs in the playoffs. I'm sure many leaf fans or any sports fan can relate to the reactions in this video at one point or another. This heart break occurred in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
* CORRECTION* The leafs are ONE of a few young teams in the NHL. The Globe and Mail posted an article in January listing average ages of NHL teams and Toronto was one of the lowest tied with LA Carolina and the Jets. - กีฬา

As a Bruins fan after our 2022 first round exit, this is therapeutic.
As a hockey fan, the Bruins loss in 2022 or any year for that matter, was therapeutic for most everyone. What’s more annoying, is we have to suffer through another Winter Classic in 2023. The NHL loves to deep throat Boston, Chicago, and the new kids, Vegas. Now, I’m somewhat ok in regards to Toronto losing, to me, it’s more about watching their whining fan base cry after round 1 every year. It’s sad. The arm chair GM’s come out in waves after the fact. It’s like watching the fans throw the players, coaches, and management into a Yahtzee cup, shaking it up, and see who they’ll keep. It’s gotta be rough to get that scolding from the fan base every year……….
I am a born and raised Bostonian, I was lucky enough to grow up 6 miles from The Garden/Fleetcenter. I wasn’t able to go to many games when I did live there though because we didn’t have the money. I went to a few B’s games and a few Sox games (I didn’t give a damn about basketball and I went to ONE Pats game back before anyone knew who Tom Brady was haha at the old Foxboro Stadium. Unfortunately I can only support The B’s now because they’re the only team/league that hasn’t decided to go full on woke/communist! That’s another issue all together though. My therapy as a B’s fan is knowing RASK is GONE!!! I don’t care if I’m in the minority or not, I was so sick and tired of seeing him *HIT HIS PANTS DURING THE BIGGEST GAMES!! The main one being game 6 against Chicago where he blew a TWO goal lead in the final 2 mins!!! His fans never want to acknowledge that he was GREAT during the REGULAR SEASON and when the playoffs came around you could tell he couldn’t handle the pressure. I mean even this game here, he would have lost YET ANOTHER game 7 if not for his team BAILING HIM OUT AGAIN! Go look at his record in elimination games, the numbers speak for themselves.
The one thing that STILL needs to happen is Neely NEEDS TO CAN DON SWEENEY!! I loved Sweeney as a player, but HE IS A EFFIN TERRIBLE GM!!!

@@juststained I should have worded it more clearly, what I mean is the NHL as a league hasn’t gone fully woke/communist and as a Bostonian the B’s are the only team left in Boston of the major sports leagues (NHL, MLB, NFL, and NBA) that hasn’t placed being “woke” above their fans. The NBA, NFL, and MLB have all placed being WOKE above their fan bases. All 3 of those leagues go out of their way to tell White people how “racist” they are, while at the same time allowing ACTUAL RACISTS like LeBigot James to spout anti white racism. They allowed Kyrie Irving to continue playing after his support of Anti Jewish rhetoric, I mean I could go through all the examples but I think you see my point. The MLB pulled the All Star Game out of Atlanta (a predominantly black city) because they OPENLY LIED to people about Georgia’s new voting laws which were actually FAR LESS RESTRICTIVE than where they ended up moving the game to in Colorado. They also allowed the OPENLY RACIST LeBigot James to purchase a piece of the Boston Red Sox, this despite the fact that he claims Boston is the most “racist city” he’s ever been to. Also in-spite of the fact that HE TRIED TO COMMIT A RACE HOAX (which I noticed CONVENIENTLY DISAPPEARED AFTER BEING HEADLINE NEWS FOR A WEEK). Although truth be told not long after me making that comment, the NHL came out and not only made a comment about there being “TOO MANY WHITE PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE” but they also decided to allow a MALE PRETENDING TO BE A WOMAN, to play in a WOMEN’S HOCKEY GAME. Which subsequently resulted in a woman being CHECKED BY HIM (or “IT”as I call them) WHICH SENT HER TO THE HOSPITAL!! So the NHL is also working their way (albeit more slowly) towards the woke/communism GARBAGE. The reason I use the term “communism” is because just like communism, these leagues/teams are A DICTATORSHIP WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW FOR ANY SORT OF PUSHBACK….they want anyone who disagrees with their ideology to stop watching or just STFU and TAKE IT!!
Also, just for context, I am myself am a close to 40 year old, fully disabled combat veteran who is also a staunch atheist. I mention that last part because while I tend lean “Right” on many issues I am FAR FROM a full blown Conservative. Obviously, loving my country and serving in the military are two things the Communist Left REFUSE TO DO. However I also am against forced births as well as forced vaccinations. I could go down the list but suffice it to say I am quite literally the definition of being a “Center” person in terms of my politics and world views. I hope this has sufficiently provided you more context as to my original comment. In the event it hasn’t please let me know and I will happily expound further.
As far as how I feel from one B’s fan to another….. I AM TORN!! I LOVE IT OBVIOUSLY, but I am also a pessimist by nature so I am always waiting for the wheels to fall off!! They are playing at an UNBELIEVABLE LEVEL, and as you can tell from my original comment I was never a huge Tuukka Rask fan (yes he was a great goalie overall but he always *hit his pants at tw worst possible times I.e. game 6 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Final and Game 7 of the 2019 SCF just to name two of them) so it’s phenomenal having TWO GREAT GOALIES AS WELL AS A BEAST OF AN OFFENSE!! I will admit, I was WRONG about them hiring Jim Montgomery (at least so far). Also random question, Do you like the band Staind or is that just a name you picked for another purpose? I personally LOVE THEM!!
I’m a Bruins fan, but I have to say… I’m sorry for the pain you guys went through that night. We’ve all felt that heartbreak, and even though I was happy to see my team win, I definitely felt for you guys on a human level

Bruins fan here, Its crazy how I looked just like everyone here @ the end of this video, for most of the 2nd and 3rd period. I give you all mad respect cuz you can see in your eyes how crushed you guys are, meaning your probably all longtime/serious Leaf fan's. Its also nice to see no knuckleheads breaking into Bro-Rage etc. after the loss and screaming, swearing and/or breaking things. Just quiet heartbreak. Your times coming (srry not this year ;-) trust me. Im also a Boston Red Sox fan, which from 1918-2004 we BoSox diehards felt exactly like current Leaf fans. Keep The Faith.

I'm convinced gray sweatshirt girl is a double agent of sorts, likely a Montreal fan. She even tries to compensate for her laughing by disguising herself with a Leafs jersey, but I'm not fooled. The smile that starts around the 2 minute mark is disturbingly evil, and again makes it even more likely to be a Habs fan doing this for sheer pleasure.

Toronto choking has made it into the MLB
Not only this became viral, there should've been another one related to this. Like 7 kids from an Ontario elementary school singing the Leafs version of the Sound of Music classic So Long Farewell that one of the kids wrote to describe the series, feelings and spirit of the team. The verses that was about this game would be "So long, farewell, Game 7 went so well, Until Boston has sent the Leafs to hell!" including "That 4-1 lead, does it really ring a bell?" and "I jumped, I cheered/ I cried, I kicked, I yelled! AAAHHH!!!"
