Bruins fan here 10 years later. When I’m feeling down I just go watch highlights from this game. Waiting to watch Toronto choke in the playoffs every year has become a staple in our lives, and you just love to see it.
At least they aren't this past year's Bruins though, talk about a choke job. And you're not bouncing back like Tampa did with your aging team and key players leaving, I bet the Bruins miss the playoffs next year.

Jake Broer be reasonable Vancouver never won the Cup they came so close. This was only round 1 for the Leafs and they have Cups. But ofc rioting is never a reason to vent and also not fair to make that comparison

As a Leafs fan, I did cry that night seeing my Leafs lose game 7 to the Bruins. Haven't been that sad since Sam Malone said his infamous "I'm sorry, we're closed" line from the last episode of Cheers.
Now they choked away a 3-1 series lead to Montreal in 2021. It's basically tradition for them to blow it one way or another.

As a Habs fan I gotta congratulate Leafs fans for not rioting that year. Blowing a lead like that in a game 7 can never feel good. You guys have a hell of a team atm and will just keep getting better from here on out. Hope the Maple Leafs can get passed WSH and PIT. Since 2004 the Maple Leafs only qualified in playoffs once and It's on 2013 now they miss the playoffs for third straight year!
I went through 4 years of high school (they get a pass for the 2004-2005 season) and 2 years of college and didn’t see 1 leafs playoff game
