  • With a range of 82 miles, the ABT e-Transporter 6.1 is perfectly suited to many different business types, including local couriers, delivery drivers, and local businesses. Plus, a 6.7m3 load volume and a payload of up to 996kg makes it easier to meet the demands of your working day.
That sounds great, but what is it like in the real world?

When are you putting another video out? You need to aim for one a week if you want to be a TH-cam star like me!😂😂

I have been told that the battery needs changing every 4 years and it costs £10-15k. I live in London. I work in London. I do 200 - 250 miles a week. Because of where I live, I can't charge it at home, so I have to rely on public fast charging points. The cheapest van I have found today is £12k including vat. MOT due Nov 2024. Considering all of the above issues, is it worth buying a second-hand one?

Love it! Not sure it’s ready for a camper conversion just yet, can’t wait till it is though.

Is the DSG working decent? Or does it have to work hard to get it running.
Can't really tell if that's noisy too?
Does it give proper kWh/100 on the digital display, or just the small % gauge on it?

I only live 2 miles from work so I'd only have to charge it every 2 weeks

@@stevezodiac491 good one.. I've got kids and need to take and collect them in the mornings and evenings so need to use a van or car. I do have a bike but cant use it often.

How can it possibly be saving you money. If it costs £10k more to buy, diesel is £1.50 per litre and even with only 30 mpg, you can go for £44,400 miles before the difference in purchase price has been overcome. That is even without charging costs. Penny wise and pound foolish to buy one, even without it's massive logistical difficiencies.

They are so inferior to the diesel. They are kidding themselves if they think this is any good.

That looks like a seriously compromised botch job of a van. Amazing that a company like vw could release it. Basically another mileage con.
