my Physical copy of explorers of darkness was hacked by my friend's AR and my protagonist was a Palkia, and this map was way to easy, and yeah it makes the game too easy but the cutscenes are a lot funnier, especially with the Lapras's ride to the hidden plains (forgot how its called) and surprisingly the cutscene still worked when palkia rode a lapras and he was smaller than lapras as well it was quite a sight to see but sadly i didnt have anything to record but a webcam back then
Dialga: *the literal god of time, final boss of the main story and ruiner of stocks of reviver seeds*
Dialga's attack: 1 hp out of 999
Also gets 1 shot by a lucario
I mean, the lucario was hacked so I don't think that counts...

I can tell the dialga is hacked to level one because it used dragon breath. It doesn’t have dragon breath in its moveset, but when I went to the zero isle with dialga and he started at level one dragon breath was it’s only attack

We have to bear in mind that you can bring any Pokémon for the Palkia rematch, while you still gotta use your main two for the Dialga rematch.

I've always found it kinda weird that, despite every other Gen 4 Legendary/Mythical Pokemon having some form of a story role, Giratina is the only one in Sky that doesn't. Heck, even Arceus is at least implied to be the reason why Grovyle, Celebi, and Dusknoir survive from being erased in Special Episode 5. I'm just surprised they don't do...ANYTHING with Giratina at all in this game beyone just being an optional boss fight.
I think it's because the lore around giratina was not enough and Heartgold/Soulsilver came later with the Arceus event.
Lore or not, Platinum establishes Giratina as the third part of Dialga and Palkia's trio. Sky should have better acknowledged that.
not just this game but giratina has been underutilized in all of mystery dungeon. the most we’ve gotten out of him was that one arc in super mystery dungeon but it wasn’t even the real one.

He has always 999hp, only loses 1hp with a hit and inmidiatly goes back to 999hp.

i love how the legends in this game have extraordinary exp and a natural teleportation ability
side note; they honestly should have done something more with giratina instead of just making him a guardian to a treasure, like make the distortion world seep into their world
Explorers was made before Platinum so before Sky had the Platinum introduced forms Giratina already had a role in this game as the Guardian of the Rock Horn.
Sky was made after Platinum, and it even has Giratina's other form appear in certain new dungeons. There is no reason whatsoever why Giratina should have remained a random optional boss.
Hunger seeds were so OP bc no matter what they did, they only did 1 damage per attack
Sometimes the IQ skill Self Curer prevents the effect so it's not 100% reliable for later bosses. Bring more than one just in case.

If you want a strong pokemon, rayquaza is by far the strongest legendary because with sky gem and sky high veil it can attack 4 times per turn (double movement speed and doulbe attack) as long as it has these items in the bag and its ability is active.
Articuno is also amazing as it gets the spread move powder snow and guaranteed ohko combo mind reader + sheer cold
In the end game those thing doesnt really matter much the game is quite easy even with any lv100 pokemon you can one shot anything.
The most important thing in this game (exept starter for early/mid game) are IQ group and spread moove access.
The hardest dungeon of the game are the lv1 no item one, and the best pokemon to do those is by far either Smoochum for powder snow, great stats, incredible moovepool and EXTREMLY FAST EXPERIENCE (compared to legendary for exemple) or Drifloom for the good moovepool, stats, ghost type which while very risky give you some option to survive but most importantly drifloom has unburden which is the best ability in the game. (Unburden = always have a speedboost so you play 2 yime per round)
if the game were to have a sequel i feel its normal story would focus on giratina and postgame on the one above dialga arceus.
giratina is basically gravity and distortion

If I were a dick, I'd give Shaymin that nickname. This one consistently causes me more issues than Cresselia nowadays.
I love how for each recruitment you fiddled around with the "Yes" vs "No" selections as if you were gonna choose the latter lmao

624 damage is enough to take out second dialga, meanwhile pokemon gx rayquaza lvl 70 has over 3000 or so

When I was playing this as a child I got a battle request that I thought was from meowth and then when I arrived at the floor I found out that I misread and I found myself battling fucking mewtwo, I was so fucking excited

When Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers or Sky DX along with pokemon platinum comes to the switch my life will be complete....what will both games be called? My guesses are Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of time DX (remake of PMD EOS since that is the complete version). Then pokemon temporal diamond and spatial pearl

The only nickpick i have with this masterpiece is recruiting Darkrai.
You know, considering all the things that went down because of him... I was expecting a little side story showing the now amnesic Darkrai starting anew in you team.

I think its because they are another Darkrai
It’s likely a completely different Darkrai compared to the one you faced.
@@GoldRichnessit's not a different Darkrai. It's the same one you fight in the Dark Crater. Cresselia explains that Palkia's attack completely erased Darkrai's memories and that he now wanders lost throughout the world, which is why he can show up at multiple different locations. After recruiting Darkrai, you can talk to him in the Spinda Café. One of the things he will say is that he can still feel the darkness inside of him.
The mightiest of Pokémon bow their knees to you, knowing your power is greater.

Ive been trying to catch Latias and Latios...
On Bulbapedia they say both have a catch rate of O.1% and Darkrai 22% (everyone says it's super hard to get Darkrai)
I've caught Moltres and Lugia quite easilly but Latias, after 30 times trying, not even one...
Can anyone explain me this? 😂
PS: My problem is not finding its only recruiting.
All the advice I can give is to keep trying, but make sure you are level 90+, with a good recruitment item, and the Fast Friend IQ ability can help as well.

My starter and buddy don't have that IQ ability as a Vulpix and a Riolu as starters, I also don't have a recruitment item and I'm level 54, so... I'm kinda doing everything on hard mode at this point 😅

I can't recruit zapdos, i try moving around the dungeon, but, it's not there
The Secret Slab or Mystery Part is necessary to recruit Zapdos, and other Legendaries as well.

If they redesign this game, I would like the option to challenge Dialga, Palkia, and the other legendary Pokémon you battle to recruit to rematches.

How can Mewtwo exist in a world without humans? I do remember that mc is a human turned into pokemon and another one was Gengar. Does that mean that this world is some sort of post apocalypses in which humanity were turned into pokemon?
Most likely, athough the weird thing is that the protag from PMD2 comes from the future witch raises even more questions.

There's a theory that all the humans in pmd are long gone and why you're the only human in the future. When darkrai flees and the dimensional hole is shattered by palkia, darkrai is turned into a human. Loses his memory, and ends up in the dark future. He then meets and befriends grovyle.

Excuse me, despite having the secret slab or the enigma piece, I don't see the legends on their corresponding floors, will you happen to know the reason? The game is over and manaphy told me about the marine refuge.
Check the recruitment page when on the floor, see if the legendary is one the list. Also the floors can differ from time/darkness/Sky.

You can max out ur stats by using vitamins or life seed however its a tough grind

balance out the scales. u have to decline them for content. all of them.
Giratina took me forever to recruit in Explorers of darkness, especially when my protagonist was turned into palkia with AR codes, just a hint that its a lot harder to recruit Giratina as a Palkia since they're basicly enemies wich i finds that interesting

@@rydrake9509 you were unlucky because Giratina along with all the other legendaries have a base recruitment rate of 50%

@@rydrake9509 there are legendary pokemon who are GUARANTEED to join you when you visit them again (the ones you fought in the story and/or pokemon that accompanied you/you rescued from). Essentially the treasure mons and the rest have a 50% chance that CANNOT be boosted by any other means

Yesterday i spawned right on the top of 49F sky peak (last stairs)(right before Rayquaza) got instantly knocked out with an critical hit move by a Drifloom🥴
I take it that adventures of sky and explorers of darkness are the same game basically. Time to nab them all
