    Your stand that separated don't use foam it can become a problem down the road. Try two pieces of 2 x 4 one on each side let the aquarium ends sit on the wood that will get you above the peak of the separations.

    Lucas, your fish rooms are the reason I am so afraid of getting any more tanks. I have four and have only been fish keeping for 8 months. I have learned a lot with these four tanks, from the Nitrogen cycle to euthanizing a beloved Betta, I called Shadow. I have also learned how to segregate a bully Molly, Bully Bob. But he is in the tank I have now reserved for Quarantine, but he may have to get segregated if I ever need it as a hospital tank. I have learned to relax on the maintenance and they are all in perfect condition. Thanks for all your knowledge.

      I just need 2 tanks.
      One for adult guppies and one for fry, and a quarantine tank.
      So I need 3 tanks, also a show tank for some really cool dwarf cichlids if found online. 5 it should include a quarantine/plant grow out tank for the really cool dwarf cichlids. Oh crap, the really cool dwarf cichlids are pairing up now there is a power struggle and my "quarantine/plant grow out tank" is now full of injured who will also spawn in days after pulling up the plants around their nests.
      5 then but I could really use another "quarantine/plant grow out tank" so it's 6.
      I just need 6 tanks.
      "What? Mollies and Guppies can cross breed? Interesting."
      I just need 6 more tanks. I need 2 for growing out virgin females and 2 more for fry tanks and 2 tanks no 3 for males and mating activities. Will probably need another "quarantine/plant grow out tank".
      I just need 14 tanks.
      "But saltwater tanks are so pretty."
      I just need 3 more tanks. 5 tops

    i have BBA keep coming back in my tank, i think it came in thru some java moss since it keeps coming back from that. how can i kill it off? i have some red root floaters i believe its spreading to them and making some weird black muck layer on the top of my tank too.

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      That muck layer is ditritus and mulm. Nothing wrong with it and completely natural. Comes from the breaking down of plants. You can spray bba with hydrogen peroxide or use flourish excel liquid carbon. If on moss hydrogen peroxide may effect it. Hope this helps

    • @cheh1311

    Water changes to re oxygenate the plants?

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. When you add more water in especially if aerated not style in stilled before what people call aging water. If straight out all aerated the plants grab a hold of those bubbles and feed off it. Which gives you what they call in the hobby pearling. Most aquarium plants strive to be terrestrial.

    • @KettmanAquatic
      @KettmanAquatic ปีที่แล้ว

      @LRB Aquatics -Aquarium Hoarder i can't imagine the plants being exposed to the air during a water change has a lasting impact. I've noticed more Pearlong, too, after a water change. likely due to air being trapped in the water which the plants use, but it doesn't last for long. If you can find any evidence of it having a lasting impact, let me know. i don't use filters or do waterchanges on most of my aquariums and I don't use co2 on any. You should let me know if my tanks look alright 😅

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KettmanAquatic the oxygenation of the water change is what I was referring to. Yeah you don’t want to air out your aquarium plants with potential to dry the leaves triggering melt off. I don’t use filters or co2 as well. All natural.
