First of all, you didn’t have to waste 10 minutes typing all of that. Second of all, there is NO WAY a Gerstlauer Infinity or Gravity Group woodie is EVER beating Hyperia, not even a Vekoma Flyer
now they have a very visible mack hyper I dont think they would get denied for a propper 200-210 ft rmc like iron gwazi or zadra. I think rapids is gone and that will be joined to swarm island for it. unless colossus keeps breaking then maybe it will go there
It is NOT an RMC as UK government legislation does not allow for RMC trains as they are not floorless, (don’t ask why, its complicated. The only type of RMC train allowed by the UK law is the wild moose and I don’t see that topping Hyperia in any way:
the restraints and seating position do not comply with UK's standards. The lap bars, while perfectly safe, do not wrap around the rider like Hyperia. Rather, they just sit on top with the leg restraints hugging the legs. Floored trains with lap bars have operated in the UK safely. The main issue is the restraint class, here in the UK we have different classes of restraint which are rated for different types of forces and movements, for example at the bottom end of the scale you have just a seatbelt or no restraint, these are for rides for very limited, forceless movements. Then have the top end of the scale, Hyperia, Stealth, Smiler which require multiple fail-safes and specific ergonomics for it to comply with legislation. RMC from what i can see meet all of these categories apart from the ergonomics, hence why they havent been built here yet. The UK has by far the strictest rules on amusement machines, but in all good faith thankfully you can pretty much go anywhere in the country travelling fair or permanent park and be 100% safe.
7:13 unfortunately they couldn't say it's the UK's first duelling coaster because of the Grand National at BPB - unless you meant duelling non-mobius loop coaster lmao
Please do proper research. The rmc restraints are not regulated in the uk and don’t pass the health and safety tests. It would cost a lot of money to get the restraint re designed. Paultons park have been trying with the rmc team to sort this issue but so far no amount of money makes them want to alter the design. Unfortunately we might not see an rmc within the near future, but hopefully we will see one within the next 10-15 years. Another thing is the rmc t-Rex is not possible, cedar point rejected a plan for an rmc t-Rex due to the extreme price. Due to the high price I do not think they will be getting such a big experimental coaster.
@@BritishCoasterGuy Thorpe, specifically Merlin can definitely handle the extreme price. And the T-Rex restraints would likely just be the modified over the shoulder lap bars like seen on the raptor models but obviously without the otsr straps.

I think Thorpe park is the only logical UK park to Top hyperias record. Blackpool don’t have the space or money. Alton Towers have space and money but can not build above the trees (they are doing something to hopefully enable them to build taller)
Doesn't Thorpe have a height limit as well? Isn't that why they have to paint white in the sky? All due to the airports. I don't know how a 500ft coaster would work there with operating planes.
No height limit but Heathrow airport is near but the planes are high enough that they don't really need to worry unless they get the kind of heights that is double Hyperia
Rmc T rex won’t be the first to reach 500 feet or above because intamin has already gone beyond 500 feet (600 feet if you include the cliff schedule to open next year) with flacons flight so what your saying is all BS
