    • @KirtianM
      @KirtianM ปีที่แล้ว

      The 6,500 figure actually refers to all deaths of migrant workers from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, India and Bangladesh, regardless of cause, during a period of 10 years.
      There was a population of migrant worker between 1,5M and 2 M, so in the worst case it represent a 0,4% death rate annually. In USA the death for the population aged between 25 and 55 is 0,3%. In conclusion there was nothing special in this 6500 number except the big propaganda campaign of fake information it was used for

    • @mrfadasi5624
      @mrfadasi5624 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Actually Qatar has better migrant workers standards than many western countries..
      The 6,000 migrant workers deaths is the total number in 10+ years for all non Qatari citizens from all professions including death due to natural causes, car accidents, etc. The number of work related accidents is 400-500 in the past decade according to Qatari officials and International Labour Organization, and only 37 of them were stadiums construction workers..!

    We should put some of the blame on the companies that built the stadium, not just the ones who payed for it. Qatar aren't entirely responsible, but the American and British companies that took advantage of Qatar's weak regulations to protect migrant workers should be responsible to an extent.

    You're asking the wrong crowd...the subset of "fans" that choose to afford the trip and tickets; ask the families of those workers that died putting on this cirtcus.

    The best abt world cup in Qatar? no alcohol policy!!!🥰🥰 No alcohol means, no drunk ppl, no naked ppl, no assault, no shouting, no drama. Now ppl should understand why alcohol is prohibited / haram in Islam. It may caused ruckus and endangered own and other ppl's life coz when u are not sober. U do a lot of stupid things and u don't even realised. Syabas Qatar for the non alcohol policy. 👏👏👏

    Clearly the girls, only two?, were the happiest... because of the safety and lack of drunk larrikans..... and shopping.... the guys, especially Westerners, couched their replies.... They of course love the service.... that's why they travel so much.... to be treated like royalty... but that is legendary Arab hospitality....

    I find it funny how absolutely noone talks about any negatives here. Like that many people died building the stadiums in Qatar. Or that women are discriminated there. Are you all just bought?
