भाई साहब नदी जोड योजना अच्छी है लेकिन बजट बहुत ज्यादा है पहला कार्य जो बजट मे भी है प्रत्येक गांव मे तालाब और पोखर बनाकर पानी को रोकना चाहिए
नदीजोड प्रकल्प सुरू करने का प्रयास देश मजबूत करेगा.
इस काम को चरणबद्ध तरीके से सावधानी से और धीरे-धीरे करना चाहिए इसके पर्यावरणीय परिणाम को देखते हुए आगे बढ़ना चाहिए। भारत की नदियां प्राकृतिक चैनल्स ऐसी है जो हिमालय से निकलती हैं। हिमालय अभी भी बढ़ रहा है हिमालय से कई नदियां निकलकर सूख चुकी हैं जैसे सिंधु नदी। भविष्य में कई और नई नदियां निकलेंगे हिमालय से जो कि एक प्राकृतिक घटना है जो कई हजार सालों में होती है। ऐसा ना हो वर्तमान में सारी नदियों को जोड़ने पर जहां पर सूखा है वहां बाढ़ आ जाए और जहां पर बाढ़ आती हो वहां पर रेगिस्तान बन जाए। ऐसा ना हो जैसे किसी में रसायनिक उर्वरकों और कीटनाशकों के सफल प्रयोग के बाद आज वर्तमान में उन सब को दुष्परिणाम के कारण वापस लिया जा रहा है और जैविक खेती की तरफ बढ़ रहे हैं। लेकिन यदि गलत चैनल्स बन गए तो हम उनको सुधार नहीं सकते और यह बहुत बड़ा पर्यावरणीय विनाश साबित हो सकता है

Excellent initiative taken by Indian Government. Of course, any new project will have its pros and cons but such projects get approved looking at the long term benefits.
Two year ago I raised a question on twitter tagging GOI , why can’t we think of diverting or saving river water flowing into the sea?
The river water gets wasted . Is it doable?
Please try making it a discussion point in your class.
There are environmental issues, states rights, and the huge power requirements to pump waters across mountains and plateaus. Perahps it can be done to a limited extent.

But नहर ठीक रहेगी

Sir, we already experience of rain which caused fighting among states and neighbouring countries. So we can only use this facility at the time of flood. Is it viable?.
Since we have surplus rains during monsoon, a judicious application for harnessing river waters for ILR can be done. Problems of swamps and scarcity in certain area can be tackled. We know we are having 6 to 8 lane highways and char dham projects are they not threatening the hill slope stability and environmental concerns!?
