I like the looks & features. Went from 2022 Audi to a 2024 Atlas Cross Sport top trim & love it! Daughter is looking at Tiguan and wondering if tow hitch is available for bike rack?
If it helps, we have a 2023 R Model and this vehicle has a full hitch underneath re 2” so really nice for bike racks and some towing as well. Will be interesting to see if there is any change underneath in the new one! The extra power, reduced weight, and beautiful interior have me thinking we will go with the new one for sure. We love our existing Tiguan but this new one is pretty cool!
It took me 2 rewinds when you mentioned the wood paneling on the dash to actually see it. It looked as if the very close in color leather material was just reflecting off a giant piano black screen. Other than that with any other interior color like black i’m sure the wood pops.
@@davidjym This ‘Tiguan’ is not the same Tiguan they get in Europe, this is a chinese model with a different name. The chinese one is called Tayron, and this one basically has the name change on that model, and is sold as ‘Tiguan’…

I just bought the 2024 R line and I like it more. Fender Audio, more Euro looking, like the rims more and think the front grill looks better. Oh, and traditional shifter and not the one on the column where the wipers should be ;)

The new Tiguan's interior is stunning (for a VW). Unfortunately, VW didn't get the memo about piano black plastic. At least it is used sparingly but in an area that will be scratched-and-fingerprinted a lot.
I hope they have fixed the software issues. I'm here in Europe and have the top spec R Line version. My software just crashed. I had 14 safety system errors all at once, making it undrivebale. It's a known software issue in the EU, apparently. Took 2 days in the shop to update everything.
