    Always interesting watching a pedalboard come together.
    You mentioned getting a bigger power supply if you add more pedals.
    Remember that the BOSS TU-3 also has a 9v power outlet with enough kick for one or more extra pedals. 😁

    Fender Tread-Light Wah to a BelCat Blues Drive to a RC-1 looper into my little Flamma FA05 amp- the amp has a built in drum which is variable in volume and tempo in 40 styles. Loads of playing guitar and having fun!

    Going into the front end of the amp I have a Foxy Tone Box (fuzz), an Ibanez mini tuner, a Keeley compressor, a Wampler Rats Bane, a Wampler Dracarys and a Rowin noise gate. Going into the effects loop I have an MXR 6 band eq, an MXR Phase 95, a Spaceman Delta II tremolo, an MXR Carbon copy delay and lastly a Specular Reverb 3

    current rig is a Steampunk Boost, Behringer OS-2 copy, Keely Omni reverb, and Danelectro D-8, powered by a Donner power supply. the board I'm aiming for is, Jekyll and Hyde v1, Vox Valvetone, H2O v1, Juliana, Slotva, and the Packrat, well that's not all of the things I want to experiment with but what I want to get my hands on first

    First YTr I've seen to use an Ibanez chorus pedal. I have the CF7 (ChorusFlanger 7) which I believe it's the same one I used in HS in the late 70's. Love the Ibanez chorus sound...

    Currently my board consists of: TC Spark Boost > Caline High Chief Dual OD > TC Honey Pot Fuzz > Boss SD1 > TC Afterglow Chorus > TC Choka Tremolo > Boss DD-200 > EHX 720 Looper.
    I haven't really mastered the looper after moving up from a Ditto. I'm keen to add a Tubescreamer, possibly the mini for space saving reasons. And a tuner.

    Pedalboard looks solid Landon. A friendly suggestion...consider running the fuzz face before the 3 series overdrive. Generally fuzz pedals sound ok-ish into a clean amp but really shine running into a driven amp. To simulate that, I like to run my fuzz pedal usually maxed out into an overdrive with plenty of gain/drive dialed in. This way I can run my amp on the clean channel but still get killer drive tones at low volume levels.

    Very Cool, Thankyou. I Have a couple of 'Boards" set up into different Amps. My everyday use 'Behringer Board' consists of Tuner, CS400 Compressor/Sustainer, PB100 Preamp Booster, SE200 Spectrum Enhancer, Klon Klone overdrive, OD100 Overdrive/Distortion, FX100 Multi Effects and VD400 Vintage Delay. It is a fun board, Provides lots of useful tones and was very Affordable with all pedals $20-$30- Australian Range (so nearly free in US, Uk lol) Cheers

    Tuner, noise gate, overdrive. I have a rc1 pretty sure from when they first came out. It doesn't have all the digital lights. Still works as good as new. I also have an old zoom 505 . I think 505 but it still works also. I'm thinking about selling my pod go and just putting together a pedal board. I'm kinda of afraid that it would get ridiculously huge and never stop expanding though

    Fun pedalboard demo, great tones! I used to have only two pedals, a Boss Overdrive and Delay back in the day, running through Peavey and Fender combos. But now I have no pedals, just a little Quilter Superblock UK with gain and reverb and I have the most satisfying tone I've ever had. (I live in a shoebox so less is more.) 😁🎸

    I don't have a pedalboard but several pedals, this is a cool way to set it all up now. I'll have to get on it, may just use your affiliate link too and buy a few more pedals and the board itself too. Cool stuff

  • @castleanthrax1833
    @castleanthrax1833 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I've always found it easier to place my wah pedal beside my board, and not actually on it. That's just a personal preference, but it saves real estate which is usually an issue for me.

    • @castleanthrax1833
      @castleanthrax1833 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Also, I think it's easier to attach the "velcro" to the board and then peel the backing off and place the pedals down onto the sticky side of it. It saves having to try and align the two pieces.

    My is home made board out of wood. Powered by one spot pro 12. Crybaby Wah in to a fuzz pedal that I built. Tube screamer clone > jhs notaklon > jhs unicorn > alabs novadrift modulation > a did digital delay I built > strymon el capistan > electro harmonics 720 looper > tc electronic hall of fame 2 > amphitheater Boss katana 100! I have 4 more paddles I can swap in with!

    I prefer to run my gain pedals last. So I go wah, Mooer multi effect (usually use rotary setting), phaser, delay, then 3 gain stages (OD, Distortion, fuzz). Usually just use my amp reverb but I would def have a reverb pedal before the gain pedals if I wasn’t using amp reverb. The multi effect has pretty much everything and can run 2 effects simultaneously.

    Todays attempt at the tone I think I want: Gibson Les Paul Standard > Poly Tune Bonafide > Vox V847 Hand-wired Wah > Fulton Full- Drive > Fulltone Mas Malo > Boss BD2 > MXR Phase 90 > ZOOM MS-50G > ZOOM MS-70CDR > BOSS RC500 Looper and into a VOX AC10 or a Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb.
    WTF am I doing I ask myself daily? 👍🇦🇺

I have some of this already but not all: Tuner - VOX Wah - Whammy 5 - EQ - TS mini - Lil' RAT - Mini Muff for warm fuzz - Hammertone Fuzz for ripping octave fun - Tc Sentry noise gate - Vol Pedal - Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo - Ehx Oceans 11 - BOSS Looper 'Subject to change."

    Great video! I was always told to put the phase, delay, chorus etc before any distortion. That way you’re not distorting those signals. I don’t know if it really makes a difference but that’s how I’ve always done it

    Interesting options! Love the stop motion animations. Personally, I’ll never do a “hook and loop” pedal board again. I switched to temple audio 2 years ago and can never go back to Velcro. I like how that board can expand though. That was pretty rad.

    I would try putting the fuzz first in the chain. Most old school type fuzzes don't like having a buffer in front of them.

    Cool vid. Nice setup. I’ve got the smaller Xpnd board, cool idea for sure. I’ve got the phase 95 and RC1. I’ve got a couple of the other JHS 3 series - excellent line IMO. I’m interested in those smaller Ibanez pedals so it was cool seeing the chorus. I’m running a mini poly tune then viscous vibe into an Angry Driver then a Boss Waza DM2 delay into a JhS 3 reverb and an MXR sugar drive to kick it all up a notch at the end.

Starts with a Fender Smoulder Acoustic Overdrive, next is a NuX Ace of Tone, then my Keeley Monterey, same phaser the Phase 95, then finally an EHX Canyon pedal. Love the different tones I get running in front of my Blackstar HT5R. Any chance you'll review any of this?
