Dude awesome race. Your effort management is improving! I’m also impressed on that final 1.5K where your hr was so high and you still smashed the final 400 meters. Kudos! Keep working that endurance it’s already showing positive results.
Excellent race. I’ve been watching you on TH-cam for a couple of years. No doubt your aerobic capacity is increasing. Continue to train smart and keep your nutrition at a high-level, and no doubt you will continue to improve.
Solid race, looked similar to mine this morning. Wasn’t sure what you would have left with 300m to go, but you drilled it and passed quite a few riders. Well done and keep at it!!!💪🚴
@@CaedmonCycling If memory serves me correctly, you got faster by doing crits and points races. Maybe you should get back into those until you get your fitness back up.
I’ve been focusing on endurance (2” min) recently to try to make it to the end of these B races. Once I can do that, next step will be getting the sprint back 👍
Hey, sounds like you’re in the same boat as me trying to find a place in B! I haven’t really been consistent with training at all, but trying to be better about it. I’m going to try to race twice a week and Zone 2 at least twice a week going forward. That’s still not enough training, but it’s what works for me 👍 might add in a few other training sessions when I can
sit in the pack, then in the last couple of kms position yourself near the front and in the last 200 m or so unleash the beast this will depend on the race, but it's a good formula to start with, until you develop your rhythm and experience
I just use an iPhone to record myself. Then I screen record Zwift using Xbox Game Bar which came installed on my laptop. Then I merge them together when editing 👍
Great Finnish👏I did this in Cat C and suffered like a dog for the last 3KM.
Good work! Luckily my race didn’t see an attack until the 1.5km mark remaining. I would’ve been dropped if that effort was any longer 😅
I raced in C as well. We finished 1 min slower than @Cademon & I also suffered. Multiple attacks. FAST!
Boom! Great racing, man. Super efficient. Caedmon efficient! And awesome endurance in that run in.
Felt good to have enough left at the end of the race for a good push 👍 hopefully more like this to come!

Thanks! It felt good to be in the pack and the lack of attacks helped keep my HR low early. More to come!
amazing final
Fun sprint finish!
Great videos keep pushing
Will do, thanks for the support!
Great start to 2024 Caedmon! Looking really strong 👊💪
It’s going to be a big year!

Hey, thanks for the support! I’ll keep working and getting better 👍
Good job mate 😊 you pushed till the very end…awesome result Cad!
Thanks, this was a fun one 👍
Keep going 💪 fight gives me 1st win result
Great result!!

Nice sprint to start of the New Year.
Hopefully the first of many!

Fun to be sprinting again 💪
nice effort at the end. 2024 300w ftp incoming!
Haha, that would be 4 w/kg 👀 I’ll keep working!
Great job, gotta be nice to be back sprinting with the front group!
Definitely makes racing more fun! Hope to be up there more often 👍

Won’t stop with the Crit races though. I’m planning to do a Neokyo Crit race tomorrow
@@CaedmonCycling cool...good luck with the race
What's your zone 2 schedule? How often do you race? I also just went into B and find it a challenge to stay on

@@CaedmonCycling got it. I just had a kid, so my consistency is also at an all-time low, but still want to try and compete!
Congrats! Best of luck getting time in on the bike 👍

Yeah, that’s my goal in B for now. I don’t have the power to animate the race so I have to be efficient to stick in for a finishing sprint 👍
what are you using to record with?
