Our iconic Saint La Salle building back then was the tallest structure from Taft Avenue to Roxas Blvd. The students who resided in campus were on the top fourth floor and they would often the describe the luxury of witnessng Manila's coastal boulevard daily sunrise and sunset. It was only USAFFE General McArthur that would have had the same privilege to see this natural spectacle from his luxury top penthouse of the top of his pre-war Manila Hotel beside Luneta park.

A total big difference between my school to your school. My school is DLSU Dasmarinas and compare to DLSU Manila our school has an environmental vibe and second to the largest dlsu schools with 15 hectares long. So if I would get a school tour I think 10 minutes wont be enough. And yes cleanliness in DLSU schools is highly prioritize. Proud lasallian here.
a lot has changed in DLSU since my time in the early 90s...during my time, Yuchengco Hall was the site of the old St. Athanasius gym.. there was a still the football field...and there were only 7 buildings - LS, SPS, SJ, Velasco, Miguel and Intellect (Gokongwei)

Brought back my memories. I have spend 1.5 years in here. Due to financial difficulty and personal reason i had to dropout. Personal Tip. Easiest Course is liberal arts. high chance of passing during entrance exam literally petiks mode whole 4 years. 2. When you pass.. during enrollment. Add classes the first day kc ung mga prof na mababait mapupuno ung class. Beware of Math teachers with surname of Tan, Uy (papasaka d2 cguro wish nyu sa piso). And Basically same is true for Computer Science class. Chinese Surnamed prof are the worse. Beware of a faculty with name rafael cabredo. 3. Don't fail too often letters will be sent to your home address. If you can't deal with shit and have lots of money. Go minimum units until 3rd year. (When you reach 3rd u will become immortal. They can't kick you out academically. So go shit then. 4. Better if you have condo near coz manila traffic sucks balls. 5. Cheapest food is near agno but not in agno. Shomai rice, Shawarma Rice is your thing and etc. 6. Elevator is your worst nightmare with deadlines and late. shit 7. Join orgs that you will engage and participate in. 8. Library opens @7. You can sleep and surf the net in here until closing. 7. People with hyperhidrosis will like this school. Fully airconditioned. Bring lots of shirt. 8. Annex building (near gym) is the shit. 9. Liberal arts/engineering building is connected to Computer Majors building. Go to the 2nd floor for shortcut. 10.Professors in here are hit and miss. If you don't study you go to shit. Ask trustworthy seniors for advice in prof specially math subjects. 11. Its better to be late than absent. Auto fail in class with number of consecutive absences. 12. 20 mins no prof = free class. Beware some prof like jocelyn cu still goes to class in 30 and still does the class. Shit right 13. File leave of absence.if you need vacation. They will penalize you next time you enroll 14. Tuition is expensive. Get all the free stuff during orientation and activities inside campus. 15. Don't rely on god. It won't help you with your grades. 16. You need to stand still during flag raising and prayers throughout the day. It sucks specially if you are late. (u can break this one coz i did.) 17. Liberal arts have the most beautiful people on earth!. 18. Go early into the gym. You will see the volleyball team jogging there. Nice distractions

Sa totoo lng kapag punta mo ng ibang bansa. Wala na yang school school nayan. Tingin pa din nila gumagraduate ka pa din sa third world country/developing country kahit pa ust, up, lassale, feu, or ateneo ka pa. So walang sense ang pagaaral sa mahal na school sa pinas kung magabroad ka kasi hindi nmn nila alam mga yan. Kaya magaral ka nlng sa AMA, Eac, or other cheap schools! Buti kung harvard ka or other international na sikat na school ka. Asa uk ako now as a nurse and nagaral ako sa isa sa mga sikat na school na yan! For me sayang lang tuition ko sa mga school na yan. Magaral nlng kyo sa kahit anong school at ipasa ang board exam. Maging practical. #Realtalk

Sa totoo lng kapag punta mo ng ibang bansa. Wala na yang school school nayan. Tingin pa din nila gumagraduate ka pa din sa third world country/developing country kahit pa ust, up, lassale, feu, or ateneo ka pa. So walang sense ang pagaaral sa mahal na school sa pinas kung magabroad ka kasi hindi nmn nila alam mga yan. Kaya magaral ka nlng sa AMA, Eac, or other cheap schools! Buti kung harvard ka or other international na sikat na school ka. Asa uk ako now as a nurse and nagaral ako sa isa sa mga sikat na school na yan! For me sayang lang tuition ko sa mga school na yan. Magaral nlng kyo sa kahit anong school at ipasa ang board exam. Maging practical. #Realtalk
