Hands down one of the most underrated films, one of Ryan Goslings best performances.
These two exude a powerful love vibe so real.. I'm in love with their love story... these two were made for each other... Divine intervention right there.. serendipity ❤️ 💙 💜
That they're married IRL makes the romance more

When he says "don't say it like that....dont talk doen to me" it felt real.
I used to go to the church featured in the film when I briefly lived there for work- one of the most BEAUTIFUL alter backdrops I’ve ever seen- Over 4000 white cherub angel faces throughout interior- just so incredibly magical. Glad the film used it✨✨✨

That movie was great. Can’t shake it once you’ve seen it.
Now THAT is chemistry.
I love the rich colour grading of the first half of this film, and I adore the movie itself. Gosling and Mendez had great chemistry - both with each other and with that cute baby. Ben Mendelsohn and Bradley Cooper were also gems in this, as were the young actors playing the sons of Gosling/Mendez and Cooper.
I loved this movie. That much better watching it knowing this is where their love story began

😭 so beautiful and so sad. I’m glad they ended up together in real life. The love is palpable.
Why are people so toxic and envious about others happiness.. who is anyone to be judging or speak love that happens unexpected.. chemistry is a depth of 2 souls that can be serendipitous. Timing the individuals, the heart the soul the connection. No one but no one may understand why some people are unattractive to each other. That's love. Like Romeo and Juliette. Who care what you see or not it's mon of your concern. Take care of your mate and your love life.

I did not know this was a movie of his. I have only seen Ryan Gosling on my TH-cam in SNL and I think a military movie.
The face close ups - they’re not actually looking at each other, they’re y’know…acting.

I mean…respectfully and I’m saying this in reference to what’s in the description - Eva said herself they did not meet on the set of the film and they had already know each other prior (maybe even had a relationship secretly prior, her statement was vague)
They might’ve known each other before but filming this movie technically kicked off their relationship because they started dating shortly after filming this together, not before
For the title I thought it was a biopic

I honestly don't see why everyone loves Ryan gosling so much.
And that's the beauty of preferences! We all have them.
Well it's because he looks great, but that's not the only thing. He has a great personality and a good person too. He's happily married, and he loves kids. He just has that special charm when he starts talking.

@@steffnic13 Yes, Gosling and Mendez have been together ever since this movie was released. You're also correct, to the extent that Gosling and McAdams reportedly had conflict on the set of the Notebook, but they got together a while later and he has since spoken fondly of her and their former relationship.
