We just got our first one in at Everest Audio as well and we're very impressed. Should be a hit with our Canadian customers. Great review!

Thanks for the review I’m currently streaming using the original stack audio link into the dac section of a Rega Saturn mk3.
I was thinking of looking at the stack audio link 2 as an upgrade with the additional power supply. Would I perhaps be better off with one of these instead ? Or maybe wait until the pulse model comes out ? Or something else if I save up longer. Total system value is approx £7500 excluding the streamer.
    Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately the Stack Link 2 is no longer in production so that's not an option. The Pulsemini is likely to be a good match with the Saturn Mk3, it's a bit warmer and more relaxed than the Link. However if funds permit I would look at the Pulse model when it arrives and compare that with an Auralic Aries G1.1

@@TheEarOnline thanks very much that’s really helpful. I’ll probably look at those options in the new year and splash the cash on a new roon core at the same time maybe a Roon nucleus/nucleus + I’m not sure if you’ve tested those or whether there’s a better option ? thanks again

@@MrJonnyboy43 IMHO you are better off using a third party control app or if the streamer brand has its own use that. They aren't as fancy as Roon but usually sound better.

Hi thanks for such a concise yet illuminating review. It really gave me a fuller picture of its character. Bringing music to life is what I strive for-using LFD DAC and amplifier. Do you think this would be a good match? Been using a zen stream for two years with quite satisfying results but nothing too insightful. Thanks again, Mike

Thanks Mike, I suggest you read the full review linked above. The Pulsemini will upgrade your Zen server however, it will add dynamics and improve resolution and timing but you might want to consider one of the bigger Innuos network streamers which will bring more insight.

Is there going to be a problem using the spdif out for the digital as opposed to the usb? I read that sometimes the analogue out is better than some good dacs. @@TheEarOnline

@@63capra no SPDIF should work well, maybe less detailed than USB but often more fluid. I suggest you compare the analogue output with your DAC.

Ok good yeah listened to it on Saturday and very impressed both with digital and analogue out. I’ve ordered and can’t wait to get it set up at home. The demo model only had 30 hours on it too! Will probably get the lps when it’s released eventually to open things up even more. Cheers 🍻

I’ve not tried the Holo but if want dealer back up the Innuos has an advantage.

@@willmac5642 Holo red is a renderer. It needs a dac. This Innuous product has a dac built in. They are two different classes of product.
