I noticed on a photo on the web page that they had one placed in what looks like only Perlite. Would be interesting to try on with Pon . Unfortunately at that price once coverted to Australian dollars would be way way to much but they do look good

I’ve seen this with a cute carrot of bird plastic top and a spike made of terracotta. You can also find them all made of terracotta but they come without a lid I believe. Never tried them though

Ummm, yeah they look nice, but I've got close to 150 +- plants, 28 of them on moss poles. It would be more costly than hiring a plant sitter for me. But they do definitely look nice 👍

I don’t think this is necessary nor intended to for every plant we own. I think it’s more for the plants we baby, particularly the ones that are the most intolerant of drought. I have plenty of plants that can handle drying out for 2 weeks or more. They don’t need a cowbell. But my moisture loving plants that need me to water them multiple times a week definitely benefit from the cowbell! And now I don’t miss a watering!

Sorry i just had to ask about vases, arent you scared of pests or molds or such as in those vases? How do you take care of those problems?

Nope! As long as the medium is well aerated, the roots will use all available water and prevent any mold.

I grow fully in no drainage glass vases.. only issue I have is the outermost layer gets algae but it doesn’t affect anything honestly it’s great most plants love it

just curious, if you loose the bottle part, does the ceramic part screw on soda bottles? These things are often standard size.
