Surprisingly, this is my first time hearing about this but the footage at the very start of the video certainly got my attention. This is looking right up my alley with its visuals and the gameplay, even if the controls take some time getting used to. The accessibility options and the fact it runs well on the steam deck are also big pluses in my eyes. I think I'll have to pick this up sooner rather than later. Thanks for the review.
Indies, is there anything better? This game looks absolutely amazing and I've been gaming since 78, so there are very few games that I find bad in the graphics department. I can stand in amazement seeing Spider-Man or God of War running on PS5, but a decent indie title can still get the job done. So yeah, the graphics look great here and fit what this game looks to be all about, just added it to my wish-list.
3d platformers are on fire with YTGV, CornKidz 64, and Psuedoregalia

Pretty close to my steam review. Although i don't see how you could accidentally trigger the npc dialogues, you have to stay still in the radius for like 2~3 seconds, which never happened accidentally. Other main difference is that you found driving people around to add to the game while i found it to just be a chore, but that's an extension of the timer being useless most of the time and annoying the rest of it. I like how the game is designed to have a slight metroidvania feel beyond the typical collectathon progression. Overall one of the best in the genre, old or new. It only lacked a bit more environmental mechanics and precise platforming sequences like the reset orbs. The fire hydrants and other bouncy hazards were underutilized for example, they could have made for some interesting sections.
Some people also take issues with how claustrophobics some levels are, but they seem to forget this is an adventure platformer first and foremost, not a speedrunning platformer, even if it's a very good speedrun game. I did find that there is some merit to the criticism though.
The moveset, level design and progression were polished like a sparkling diamond regardless, no doubt about that.
Hoping this comes to console soon!

Nice. Looking forward to playing this for myself, even if I sometimes worry the evil Mosk and his company Tosla is a joke that won't age well.
The "hiding in plain sight" move set where you don't get new abilities but just learn new ways to use them sounds awesome.
The other game that springs to mind that did this really well was Celeste. I'll never forget in the last two chapters learning that to "downward diagonal dash" and "right angle jump when dashing upwards" actually let you jump further or higher.
Going back to chapter 1 and realising I could do it all along and smash through those early level still puts a smile on my face 😊
For sokobanlike puzzle games, Stephen's Sausage Roll, A Monster's Expedition and, to some etent, Baba Is You do similar things.

Between this, Buckshot roulette and Minishoot Adventures I'm regretting being a console gamer where none of those are available 😞

Wow wow wow. This looks so interesting. When you said there were timers a-la crazy taxi, I started to despair and breathed a sigh of relief when you said they were generous. Totally checking this out.
