    Thanks Duf!
    I’ve been running my new 18XL at 40 Psi (tire says 35-45) and although good, I was finding it a little unstable and not as good as people say it is.
    Just had a quick run out at 31PSI (as you mentioned in your video) and its like a different wheel!
    Even smoother, more nimble somehow and it also seems more responsive?
    Feels safer as well!
    Cheers!

      Yea dude I used to do the same thing, always pump to the range listed on the tire. Since I started going lower on the PSI all of my wheels feel much better to me.

    As a kid living in Port Charlotte Florida I would grab a large square of cardboard out of the Kmart dumpster, strap it on my back and use it as a sail on my bike. The 45 degree cross winds were the best. I got some good speeds on the frontage roads of HW 41 between the Peace River bridge and Harbor boulevard. I later learned to grab the back door handles of larger cars and hold on....... ahh ...the good old days!

    Another fun looking ride, and I am happy the humidity has taken a drop for you. Last week was miserably humid here in southern Minnesota, in fact one day we had temps a bit higher than Florida. Today a sweat shirt was required for rides on the NLS Pro and Ranger X1. Looks like the wind on the return trip could have blown that coffee right through the back of your head:)
    Sorry about the Eagles performance today:)

      It's hard to go wrong with an 18XL unless you insist on cruising at 35mph on a one wheeled self balancing device. :)

    who installed you additional battery? I've seen many wheels with inlarged battery in the US. In my county(Ukraine) I don't know who I can trust to do that. They say the wheel might act unpredictibly with battery inlarged. What about the warranty if something goes wrong? I'm just affraid to let some amateurs mess with my wheel

    • @Duf
      @Duf  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It isn't an additional battery, it is a replacement battery which I bought from dealer, Ewheels.com

    Do you find that your feet "go to sleep" after all those miles? Mine do it after about 4 miles. Hurts like a banshee. .!

    • @Duf
      @Duf  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but not after 4 miles. My feet ALWAYS will wind up going numb at some point on longer rides.

    How well does the ks18 kick stand hold up in a tumble? I have made my own out of carbon and aluminum tube and both dont hold up well in a small crash. Also does it come with the screws to mount? Thanks.

    • @Duf
      @Duf  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be quite honest, any rigid kickstand object is going to have a tough time surviving an impact with as heavy as the wheels are. There is no way the small area around those two screw mounts will hold up to that sort of stress. That being said I have had my kickstand/mudguard on my 18L for months and it's been fine but if you are the type of rider that gets into situations where the wheel drops a lot, you are going to go through a lot of kickstands.

    • @ninja636king
      @ninja636king 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Duf i hear you. I like to offroad alot and with that comes a few falls. I may test the durability of your stand also. If it holds up better than my homemade stands i will let everyone know.

    • @Duf
      @Duf  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ninja636king Yea my advice would be to remove the kickstand if you plan to do aggressive off road riding. The stands have had a very good track record. I have not heard of a normal one breaking. The only failure that was reported was a stand that was a partial print, scratch and dent model. (i replaced the bad part)
