So reboot Kevin is like a evil iron man.
One problem with your theory is that we don;t know if Kevin has the know-how and brains to actually make the modifications when he was making the watch. While yes, that could have been because of Vilgax, it doesn't explain how Kevin got ALL the necessary components in the 1st place from his garrage, let alone the Corrodium without a hazmat suit!
So, yes the show had bigger holes than Alamo
This entire video was made for the reboot community, of course they wouldn't look into it built on a poor foundation that's why the content creator himself hasn't responded to any opinions regarding it's drawbacks of Kevin building the Omnitrix but embraces fooling the community by making it look like Kevin is flawless

Kevin is stuck in that form because of a fight with Ben that happened during the time skip
Kevin modified the Antitrix to his advantage. 🎉

Keven somehow built this in his garage with no alien tech, just a bunch of scrap with only the rough draft blueprints of the omnitrix with some alien dna. This will always be the dumbest plot hole to me for this season of Ben 10
Massive plot hole < cool ass designs although I do think albedo could’ve sent his own version of the Omnitrix to Kevin. A battle of good vs evil.

In my opinion kevin shouldn't have an omnitrix if he is going to join ben for one it makes no sense for 2 people and the same team to have the same powers and if he does have it in the beginning it should have malfunctions and problems
Well he only has it in the reboot wich starts back in the classics and is clearly it's own timeline that likely had no plans for a future so they didn't have to wory about that because Kevin in this timeline only ever has to be a antagonist like he was in classic. They probably were just having fun with an idea they couldn't get away with in the classic timeline sense they probably didn't want to re-introduce Kevin's energy draining powers given the confusion that comes with then from the other series in the classic timeline

Was asmuth in this universe just careless or stupid it would have made sense if albedo built the prototype and sent it to earth but what we've gotten is a 11 Year Old Boy who's entire lore got reckoned and somehow built a perfect version of the Omnitrix with no drawbacks

I personally think it only mutates them to be more aggressive not stronger, my concept on evolution and mutation, Ben's Aliens are for survival, Kevin's Aliens are for hunting. Agree or disagree while this is my opinion I try got look at things without bias and see in a logical way not who's favoured

Possible protective suit. If he can find tools to make a psuedo omnitrix I think he can find a decent enough protective suit
the only problem i have with this reboot ben is he is not as skilled enough with the utilities he has unlike classic ben, classic ben's skill significantly surpasses reboot ben. if reboot kevin went up against classic ben, it might be an even fight.
