Thank you so much. I will have a cavalier pup next week, this is so helpful for me
I am so glad that you chose to start Slater on raw! It truly is the best!! He is so cute!
Thank you! He loves it so far :)
@@SydneyFrancia That is really good to hear! Hopefully, he will live a long, happy, and healthy life because of it!
Great informative video. Thanks Sydney and slater!! So cute ❤️
Thanks for watching!
Great review Slater
Do they deliver to canada
Hi. I have a 6 month old ckcs, however we have only had him for 3 weeks. The breeder had him on processed dog roll and kibble. I have just put him on raw food diet this week and so far so good. We have a company not far from us that specialises in raw dog food, so it's nice and easy to get from there, as they work out the correct combo of meat vs bones, organs etc to ensure the diet is balanced. My only concern is hygiene. I am grossed out that he eats raw food and then comes and plays with my kids and licks us / puts his mouth on us afterwards. Have you had any issues? Do you wipe your dogs mouth afterwards? I have put a snood on him so his ears don't go on the food or raw juice, however he hates wearing it and shakes it off every time. Would love to know if you've experienced any issues and what you do / recommend in terms of hygiene with raw meat? Thanks.
Can I please just tell you that when I came across your videos tonight I literally RAN to my husband and made him watch them! We've got an 8 month old Cav and she's had diarrhea (sorry TMI) pretty much continuously since we got her. We've been to the vet a dozen times, have spent a couple grand on vet bills and we're still struggling to find the right food for her.... she's on a whole panel of vitamins and probiotics. We're ordering the starter kit from All Provide. What Facebook groups do you recommend?
Aw! Thank you! The two Facebook groups that I recommend is “ The healthy Cavalier King Charles spaniel” and “raw feed healthy cavs” i’ve learned a lot in both of them and everyone’s really helpful. I really hope the All Provide works for you :)
Can you defrost it with warm water ?
I wouldn’t do warm water because it can slightly cook the meat. Try cold water and let it sit for a couple of hours
Just curious, how much does slater weigh?
16.5 pounds :)
@@SydneyFrancia thanks! Our little one is only at 12.5 and will be turning 1 on April 1st. He is such a picky eater so we decided to try the starter kit. Thanks for the videos!
@@SydneyFrancia another question, has slater been fixed? If so did he gain weight or did you notice his coat come in? We were waiting till after Remi’s first b-day to fix him because he is a little guy and we wanted to give him a chance to grow a bit.
@@thomasmarkovich7045 Ah so sorry for the late reply! Slater has not been fixed but his coat has been growing in so nicely :)
How old was slater when you switched to raw?
He was 7 months when he made the switch:)
@@SydneyFrancia mine is 9 months and we cannot get a firm poop. I’m always tearing up grass to get the goopy poop up. Our story is similar to his.
